This 'net' entry is a different species. Aegotheles tatei. Some of the species from New Guinea have been considered new finds.



The Owlet Nightjar.

Aegotheles albertisi.

From the front view, doesn't it resemble an insect with all those long hairlike feathers and big bug eyes. Very intimidating to potential predators.
