Well. How much money is Trump handing out this time? He bought himself a House not long ago so he could have the most economically and educationally deprived district Representative become Speaker. Now with the Supreme Court deciding if his insurgency was enough of an insurgency to keep him from the nomination he is buying out every person along the way including the Senator Nikki Haley nominated. 

That is Republicans in a nut shell, corrupt to the core when money is floated to them.
