Is Roy Moore working there? Just curious. Perhaps he can be found in the girls' section of the camp.

What happens when they turn age 18? Deportation? It makes sense there is no school or learning English if at the age of 18 they are deported back to their country of origin?

According to a federal watchdog report (click here), staff at a Texas kids' detention center were allowed to skip FBI background checks by way of an allowance made by the Trump administration. The camp, which holds thousands of migrant children in Tornillo, Texas, was not conducting standard FBI background checks for its employees as of September. Bustle has reached out to the Administration for Children and Families for comment.

A Health and Human Services inspector general memo was released on Tuesday in response to the report. The memo read in part, "Tornillo is using checks conducted by a private contractor that has access to less comprehensive data, thereby heightening the risk that an individual with a criminal history could have direct access to children."...

This is how American tax dollars are being spent. The USA federal government has always employed, "Catch and Release" for immigrants coming across the border seeking asylum. This death was completely avoidable. If the toddler was left with the mother/parents it would not have occurred. The detention facilities need to be closed and the children provided homes.

A mother whose toddler died (click here) weeks after they were released from a Texas immigrant detention center has filed a wrongful death claim seeking $60 million from the US government.

Yazmin Juarez's 19-month-old daughter, Mariee, died in May, six weeks after they were released from the immigration facility in Dilley.

Juarez and her attorney allege that ICE and those running the facility provided substandard medical care for the toddler after she suffered a respiratory infection while in detention....

The Tornillo camp (click here) located in the remote region of the West Texas desert witnessed about 200 protesters led by rabbis and a number of other faith leaders . The aim of the protesters was to send a clear signal to the Trump administration that ordinary Americans are not happy with how their government treats migrant children. The protesters, including Muslims, Christians, and Jews, shared reflections and sang songs outside the camp. The United States Government has made the border outpost a veritable tent city. The facilities now house unaccompanied minor children. The protests were organized by Rabbi Josh Whinston, an Ann Arbor, Michigan resident and Reform Jewish leader....
Congratulations to the Speaker - Elect candidate, Minority Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Congratulations to the Democratic Party, their Speaker - Elect is really a wonderful person and untouchable politically. The picture of her with the Pope shows a couple of young boys in the foreground, I think those are two of her grandchildren.

The Democrats need to put away any objection away to bring their Speaker candidate to the leadership position the Democrats deserve.

I think there will be new members being exposed to leadership opportunities and they should engage the responsibility of those positions without any hesitation. I fully expect the Democrats to take excellent care of the country and destroy corruption at every turn. There are many people, Democrat, Independent, Libertarian, and Republican, in the USA counting on the Democrats to put a strong check and balance on the Trump White House. Please don't disappoint the people that heavily invested to trust the DNC.

Enjoy the next two years. Don't make it a chronic campaigning as the right wing does. The American people want serious legislation to go forward and to that fact ASK them to write to their Senators to vote for the bills coming from the US House. The Democrats are going to need the support of those that voted for them, so, the work is not yet done. Stay tuned.
If Manafort’s attorneys have been communicating openly with the White House and Manafort is acting to disprove Russian involvement, then Trump is involved and were there threats leveled by Putin or implied by Putin in Helsinki? Trump is actively working with Manafort to dispel the Russian link, hence, the pardon. There is motivation everywhere to betray the country by Trump.
It isn’t that billionaires don’t understand right from wrong, they can choose to do right or wrong because they have the wealth to allow them that choice.
Trump had a judge oversee a trial of Paul Manfort and the jury found him guilty of serious charges. What does Trump think he is doing by considering a pardon for Manafort. Trump does not respect the country, the law or serious decisions by American juries.

Manafort, a fixture in Republican politics for decades, was convicted of five counts of tax fraud, one count of failure to file a report of foreign bank and financial accounts and two counts of bank fraud.

Is Trump going to pardon Maria Butina, too? Because she is the one that brought money into the USA from the central bank of Russia (click here).

The facts about Butina is that her benefactor was using two Russian banks, what was the other one, Alpha Bank?

...Suspected Russian (click here) agent Maria Butina received financial support from Russian billionaire Konstantin Nikolaev, according to a source familiar with Butina's congressional testimony. She also, according to Reuters, attended meetings in 2015 with senior officials at the U.S. Federal Reserve and Treasury Department, indicating she was more than just a graduate student as her lawyer asserts....

Washington - The FBI (click here) is investigating whether a top Russian banker with ties to the Kremlin illegally funneled money to the National Rifle Association to help Donald Trump win the presidency, two sources familiar with the matter have told McClatchy.

FBI counterintelligence investigators have focused on the activities of Alexander Torshin, the deputy governor of Russia’s central bank who is known for his close relationships with both Russian President Vladimir Putin and the NRA, the sources said.

It is illegal to use foreign money to influence federal elections.

It’s unclear how long the Torshin inquiry has been ongoing, but the news comes as Justice Department Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s sweeping investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 election, including whether the Kremlin colluded with Trump’s campaign, has been heating up....

...Republican operative Paul Erickson (click here) also was involved in the financial dealings that drew investigators’ interest – transfers of money exceeding $10,000 to limited liability corporations, including two created in Erickson’s home state of South Dakota, the sources said. Both of these people, including one of the sources and a third individual, also spoke on condition of anonymity because of the confidential nature of the investigation.

Investigators at the Treasury Department received a number of Suspicious Activity Reports “relating to entities tied to Butina and Erickson and funds that were transferred to them,” including some that appear to have come from Russia, one of the people saidFinancial institutions are required to flag unusually large movements of money for regulators, mainly to combat money laundering.

Prosecutors have said that Erickson, a longtime NRA member and fundraiser, and Butina were romantically involved, though she privately detested continuing that relationship. Erickson, who has not been charged in the Russia inquiry, is widely believed to be the figure identified as “U.S. Person 1” in an affidavit supporting the conspiracy indictment against Butina....

The representative of the Russian businessman, (click here) Konstantin Nikolayev, confirmed that before the beginning of 2015, Nikolayev provided financial support to Russian citizen Maria Butina  who is accused of working as a foreign agent without registration in the US, the newspaper Kommersant reports. However, the spokesman emphasized that the financial aid was terminated after she left Russia.

“Between 2012 and 2014, he provided targeted funding to Mrs. Butina's social organization (the Right to Bear Arms movement) to support her projects in Russia... His interest and support were limited solely to projects in Russia and only within the given period,” the representative told the media.

Butina talked about Nikolayev’s financial support during her speech to the United States Senate Intelligence Committee. According to her, financial aid was contributed for Right to Bear Arms.

Nikolayev’s representative rejects the existence of any relationship with US President Donald Trump’s team. At the same time, The Washington Post reported that Andrei Nikolayev, the businessman’s son who studied in the US, was a volunteer at Trump's headquarters in 2016. According to the newspaper, he was seen at the Trump Hotel in Washington on the eve of the inauguration.

The FBI accuses Maria Butina of participating in a plot to conduct activities in favor of a foreign state on the territory of the United States....

At least 84 farms in the upper Midwest (click here) filed for Chapter 12 bankruptcy in the 12 months that ended in June, according to a new Minneapolis Fed analysis.

That's more than twice the level seen over the same period four years ago.

Tariffs have added pressure to already low margins for farmers.

As President Donald Trump maintains protectionist policies with global trading partners, an increasing number of farms in the Midwest are struggling to stay afloat.

At least 84 farm operations in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and parts of northwestern Wisconsin filed for bankruptcy in the 12 months that ended in June, according to a new analysis from the Minneapolis Federal Reserve, more than twice the level seen over the same period in 2014....
Trump said that the USA saved GM and now look at it. President Obama BAILED OUT GM at the height of the financial crisis, why should Mary Barra enter into still yet ANOTHER failed GM?
