What kind of an enemy is Russia?

September 25, 2019

Civilian cars (click here) are parked across the street from posted military and their weapons. This is the siege of Donbass.

Far from the noise of the political storm (click here) over President Donald Trump’s phone calls with Ukraine is the loud barrage of Russian artillery fire blasting away in the Donbass.

The Russian attacks are increasing in frequency and destruction. Ukrainian casualties are mounting.

Ukraine has asked the U.S. to provide military supplies to support their fight against the Russians, but the White House has delayed it.

For the Ukrainian military, and ultimately for the U.S. and other allies who are dealing with Russian aggression, the bottom line is this: Any delay in arms sales has a deleterious effect on Ukraine’s fight.

That’s bad news for U.S. forces who may one day encounter the Russian military and will rely in part on lessons learned from Ukraine’s fight.

Since the 2014 Russian seizure of Crimea and invasion of Ukraine’s east, the “full spectrum” of Russian military doctrine has been on display. That doctrine — often referred to as “hybrid warfare” — includes the use of conventional forces like mechanized infantry backed by armor and artillery, as well as special operations forces, assassinations and bombings, electronic warfare, cyber attacks and the weaponization of information....

This is what it is like in communist-controlled Donbass, Ukraine.

If it were a movie, (click here) it would be titled "The return of the little green men". But this time soldiers without insignia appeared in the streets of a city under the control of the Russian-backed separatists, and not in Kiev-controlled territory, as happened in 2014 in Crimea.

The questions, still, are the same. Who are they? Who’s orders do they attend? Which army are they representing? The answer, instead, this time is a bit more difficult.

What we know so far is that in during the morning of Tuesday, November 21st, the Luhansk residents woke up in the city guarded by military vehicles and soldiers in uniforms without any distinctive sign, armed with Kalashnikov. In some ways, nothing so overwhelming in a city under the control of irregular militias for more than three years. But this time there was something different.

Soldiers not only didn’t have any insignia, but also refused to tell who they were and why they were there. The city's central streets were blocked. While self-proclaimed prime minister Igor Plotninsky calmed down the population by saying everything was under control, what was happening looked actually like a coup....

Do Ukrainians want this in Kiev? No. Are they dedicated to defending their democracy? Yes. Why would anyone in the Oval Office even conceive of withholding aid to Ukraine? There is absolutely no reason.

These are the same covertly attired Russians that appeared in Crimea. Moscow is mostly hated by the people that are powerless to end the oppression and the day to day fear. The people have no control over their lives from day to day and raising children in such circumstances is exceedingly difficult.

This article is from "The Moscow Times" which will ask for donations of USA dollars. Don't. It is another form of money laundering for Russia regardless of the information provided.

This is what a Russian occupation looks like and it started long before the world took notice. These regions are maintained in chaos and violent agitation. Why allow the people the idea they are safe and secure? If Russia ever does something productive for them, they might be grateful and the months and years of chaos were worth it.

This is what Ukraine is fighting. This is the painful truth of Russian occupied territory where those that hate Moscow find ways to keep things stirred up.

Russia's eastern border is not the only place violent disruption is a way of life. This is from 2007, but, it supplies a flavor of hatred.

The Euromaidan was real for very real reasons. This wasn't just political unrest, Ukrainians wanted out and they were going to have it. There was no legitimate reason to withhold ANY form of support for Ukraine. The world was watching, demanding accountability and corruption to be dealt with and then comes Trump. The nightmare that is Trump is to realize he admires Putin who oversees all this violence, corruption, and social unrest.

This is real. It is not politics and Trump is playing games with their lives.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry looks at the photos of some of those killed at Maidan, at the Verkhovna Rada in Kiev (4 March 2014)

Then Secretary of State John Kerry honored them, respected them and by his mere presence elevated them to hero. It meant everything to them. It meant security.

There are just no words to describe what Trump has done. At the time of the Maidan, such antics were unthinkable.
On most days I have a life to attend to, so considering the evidence is apparent to Trump's crimes and the obvious attempted cover-up by the Republicans, I will be taking care of business for a better part of the day. The American press has the coverage well in hand and I am looking forward to reading more about it.

The Ranking Member Devin Nunes needs to start speaking truth to power and end the cover-up in his addresses to the committee and the nation of people that love their country FIRST and have sacrificed and even laid down their lives for it's continued Constitution and it's protection from crime.

Short of Nunes capitulation to address truth to power and ending the Republican cover-up, I am not interested in anything he has to say any further.

The Republican Liars' Club - If it didn't happen there was no "Quid Pro Quo."

Something very important happened that ended Trump's plans to pressure President Zelenskyy to announce publically there was an investigation into Burisma. I suppose some people like, Jordon, no different than in the sexual assault that occurred, should be on videotape to convince him there was a crime committed. As Jordon Jordon speaks in this film loop I can hear the voice of the past, "There is no proof, therefore, it didn't happen."  Jordon is a chronic liar for his convenience.

The whistleblower report was filed August 12. Trump’s call with Zelensky occurred July 25. But here the whistleblower seems to be saying US officials have been discussing the effort by Trump, Giuliani and, potentially, Barr since as early as April, the same month Zelensky assumed office. Giuliani is Trump’s personal lawyer. But Barr is the top law enforcement officer in the United States. His involvement would be extremely consequential.

No one will hear Jordan state openly there were factors that lead up to the release of the military needs of Ukraine by the USA on SEPTEMBER 11, 2019. No one will hear Jordon state there are facts that are litigable within the activities and statements by Donald J. Trump. Mr. Jordan is only interested in one thing, just one thing; COVERING UP THE CRIMES COMMITTED BY DONALD J. TRUMP. Jordan's words in this film loop is proof of a greater conspiracy by Republicans to HIDE and COVER-UP the truth. The statements below in the film loop by Mr. Jordan abandon's the USA Constitution.

The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act of 1977 (FCPA) (15 U.S.C. § 78dd-1, et seq.) is a United States federal law known primarily for two of its main provisions: one that addresses accounting transparency requirements under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and another concerning bribery of foreign officials.

Mr. Jordan might have an EXCUSE for his lack of understanding that Donald J. Trump committed crimes because Jordan never sat for the bar exam.

The federal bribery statute requires the government to prove that the defendants acted with corrupt intent to engage in a quid pro quo, that is, “a specific intent to give or receive something of value in exchange for an official act.” United States v. Sun-Diamond Growers, 526 U.S. 398, 404-05 (1999).

Any American paying attention knows INTENT is as much a crime as the act itself. Sexual assault does not have to occur in order for it to be a crime. The only aspect of such disgusting realities is INTENT in sexual harassment and PRESSURE to behave in a prescribed fashion in a work environment that allows a HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT. There doesn't have to be assault in a hostile work environment.

INTENT is missing from ALL THE STATEMENTS by the Repubilcan Liars' Club.

...Appearing Wednesday (click here) before House impeachment investigators, the U.S. ambassador to the European Union said he communicated to the president of Ukraine that before Ukraine would receive military aid and a White House meeting, he needed to announce certain investigations.

Sondland testified that “it was abundantly clear that there was a link” between the actions Ukraine desired and an announcement about the two investigations. “Was there a quid pro quo?” Sondland asked rhetorically. “The answer is yes.”

In addition to confirming the quid pro quo, Sondland — a major donor to Donald Trump's inauguration — unequivocally tied it to Trump: “We all understood that these prerequisites for the White House call and White House meeting reflected President Trump’s desires and requirements.”...
