It looks like former Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder (click here) won’t be at Harvard this summer after all.

Last week, Snyder was named a senior research fellow at Harvard Kennedy School’s Taubman Center for State and Local Government. However, following an immediate backlash over the two-term Republican governor’s handling of the Flint water crisis, Snyder announced Wednesday that he was “turning down” the fellowship, which Harvard said began Monday.

“It would have been exciting to share my experiences, both positive and negative; our current political environment and its lack of civility makes this too disruptive,” Snyder tweeted. “I wish them the best.”...

Ya, think.

Ordinarily, the Kennedy School of Government reviews applications (click here) for fellowships. Evidently, the school offered him a fellowship. I have to wonder based on what exactly was his redeeming characteristics that would cause the school to offer such an honor. Certainly, they weren't hoping it would lead to a professorship, right? Let's see, what would the title of the course be, ...hm..., "How to practice racism without really trying."

That sounds about right.

Or, maybe,

"How to get elected in spite of being a White Supremacist." or perhaps,
"How to transfer wealth from the public sector to your best friends." or
"How to obstruct public power from the national media for at least a year and get away with it." or
"How to run faux prosecutions to avoid prosecution of oneself."

I would think any one of those courses might be something Professor Snyder might teach at Harvard.

Yes, indeed, Air Force One needed deicing back then.

"Our Army (click here) manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over airports," Trump said of the fighting force created by the Continental Congress in 1775.

I didn't watch the mess that was DC yesterday. I am not a Republican and evidently, it was made for Republican TV. I really thought having a day off included having a day off from the idiot. I find it hard to believe this speechwriter has finished grade school. Seriously. Supposedly Trump read from a teleprompter, so what is this mess? Trump doesn't know or understand history or is it his mental illness taking hold again? Delusional.
