Former Governor Bill Weld is running for President. There is going to be a Republican primary and Trump will lose against him.

This was a response to a discussion of fire fighting when it comes to old churches.

Perhaps in the future, this will serve as a learning experience and churches can modify their design to integrate fire prevention methods. It is generally agreed that churches are a tough structure to protect when there is fire.

One thing that #NotreDame has in its favor - @PompiersParis are world class firefighters.

I saw their work when I served on a board for the @IAFC & they have as strong, dedicated and skilled responders as you'd find anywhere in the world.

And my thoughts are w/ them all today.

BREAKING NEWS: Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris on fire, live stream (click here for link to live stream - thank you)

A spire has collapsed. This is growing in sadness. So sorry this is a reality for Paris this Easter season.

Trump didn't mean for Paris to send flying water cannons to the cathedral. He put that 'idea' out there so some profiteers would consider it, come up with a flying water cannon that every city can buy where a Trump tower exists. That is what that comment is about.

The normal president would state concern for the city, sympathy to the Catholic Church for the pain the community is feeling and offer help. No president would see a fire at Notre Dame Cathedral as a capitalistic opportunity for a dreamscape for tall towers.
So sorry to hear about the fire at this great Catholic Cathedral.

There is mass broadcast every week from the Notre Dame Cathedral. This will effect some of the focus on Easter Sunday. The Catholic Church has faced worse problems.

I am sure a variety of terrorists will be looking to accept responsibility as if they are powerful and can attack God.

There will be a time in the future when the Pope will be visiting in realizing the pain of this damage.
The Trump Executive Branch has already stated the report to Congress will be redacted. I think the US House can recommission Robert Muller's team to submit a Congressional investigation that will result in a parallel or not necessarily a complete mimic of the original Special Council investigation.

In that, the US House should continue to file lawsuits for the original report unredacted with supporting documents.

A lot of the work is done already. It would not take that long to reconstitute it.

The US Congress is the branch of government that was to receive any reports from the Special Council if there was interference with the investigation. Congress has a vital role in receiving the unredacted report.

Redaction is interference.

This is obviously a cover up by the Executive Branch. There is just no question to the validity of the US House to receive all the information involved. They have reason for concern and jurisdiction to express that concern to the courts, too. The Legislative Branch can commission reports independently from the Executive Branch anyway.
The Congress is not receiving their report as promised on time nor are they receiving more than the public. Congress has no alternative but to file a lawsuit against the White House (Get executive privilege out of the way at the same time) AND DOJ. File the lawsuit now. The report is late.

This is outrageous and a cover-up.

The legislature must receive the Special Council report interacted with all supporting documents.

The fire sprinklers are working in the storage room at the DOJ? Right?
