The wealthy believe they always have a way out.

If you have been following the escapades of Robert Kraft, as I have, you would find this entry boring. However, if you haven't been following the news about Kraft you might find this interesting.

Kraft has now asked for a jury trial. Believe that? He is counting on a "jury of his peers" to be so enthralled with him and the Patriots that no one will convict him. Additionally, his attorney is asking to limit the evidence to Kraft's participation in prostitution. Evidently, there is a video. The attorney is trying to remove the video from evidence. For real? The video is conclusive evidence. I don't see how it can be eliminated from evidence. If a woman's under garments at a rape trial cannot be removed from evidence, I don't see that the Kraft Tape can be removed from evidence either.

I wonder if it shows the full Monti?

At any rate, Kraft is convinced no jury would convict him regardless of the evidence. It is the Trump "lie and it will become the truth" era. But, if I were Kraft I would not be so optimistic. See, most Americans, even in denial, know that Kraft and the Patriots have cheated their way to the top. If I were a juror there would be no mercy. I would convict even if there was no video. I would hold dear the idea that with Kraft in jeopardy of losing his franchise, the Patriots might even get a new owner and one that plays football by the rules. No soft footballs either.

Jupiter - New England Patriots (click here) owner Robert Kraft is one of 25 people charged with soliciting prostitutes as part of a series of human trafficking and prostitution arrests in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast, Jupiter Police Chief Daniel Kerr said Friday.

The crackdown was announced Tuesday. Thus far, authorities have arrested people in Palm Beach, Martin and Indian River counties.

The Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office will decide whether to proceed with the cases, including that of Kraft, a Massachusetts resident who long has had a residence in Palm Beach.
