The housing issue

The foreigners buying American properties aren’t illegal immigrates.

Build safer schools?

The Republicans have always diverted the problem with gun deaths of children from the guns to making schools safer and mental health. The Assault Weapons Ban worked. Just that simple.

Governor Walz is correct that public lands protect water sources. It is obvious now that Trump wants to change the character of public lands, parks and wildlands. That is what Zinke has up his sleeve. The Senator wannabe in Montana talks about having more bears than cows. They want to kill American wildlife and build on public lands. Will it work? No. Think about the national parks and commute times to real jobs. Somehow putting housing projects in Yellowstone will result in failure. Where are the children going to school? Ohhhhhh. It is more than housing, entire cities need to be built on public lands to provide basic services.

Nothing like having a president with ideology to put a resort hotel in the tree of Redwoods and Sequoias.

Talking about housing the hatred the Republicans are spewing is marginalizing LGBTQ into homelessness (Click here). The hate speech is causing victimization and ostracizing people.

It is a beautiful, blustery autumn day…

…in Traverse City, Michigan. The State Theater is seeing near sell out audiences to “The Apprentice.”

From a cinema perspective the film was made well. There are many story lines.

The film proves rape has been a part of Trump’s sexuality for some time. It related to power over women, which directly translates into his politics.

But, the overriding theme is the corrupt dealings of Trump and Roy Cohen. Trump has never come by his wealth honestly. Promoting  himself publicly was based in glamour. It became a method of power for both men, until the Apprentice became the Master and cast Cohen to the side.

In the two years since Trump cancelled the nuclear deal with Iran, it has cut in half the time to a nuclear weapon.
