This Blog is created to stress the importance of Peace as an environmental directive. “I never give them hell. I just tell the truth and they think it’s hell.” – Harry Truman (I receive no compensation from any entry on this blog.)

Kevin Hassett believes politics is more important than Americans.
He states President Trump’s economic policies are working.
Hm?
At whose expense?
Hassett complains that cutting government spending reduces inflation.
So, let me get this right. President Trump and his legislative minions have cut off subsidies to the Affordable Care Act in the Big Beautiful Bill to reduce inflation? How exactly does that work? Oh, wait. I get it now. Cut the subsidies, cut inflation, abandon Americans in need of healthcare to emergency rooms, send hospital systems into chaos and financial ruin, but, the bottom line is that the inflation is under control simply because health insurance no longer is purchased, hence, end of inflation.
Seriously? That is not controlling inflation, that is victimization of Americans.

The personnel normally taking care of these military installations have changed. The commanders may not have the experience with these ships and facility.
Sue the Navy for private contractors to assess the facility.
Infants, pregnant women, and children are at risk depending on the radiation levels. Local hospitals need to be on alter. City buses can move populations away from danger.
Food and water supplies could be at risk. This is the time to protect people and ask questions later. Regardless of the radiation levels is it known how long they have been elevated? Length of time of exposure is an issue as well as levels.

There is a reactor leaking.
Trump’s soybeans
If Americans can’t afford the bread then they should make it themselves. The picture immediately below is tofu. A half a cup of tofu contains at least 10 grams of protein.
Below is a picture of bushels of soybeans currently in silos without a future use.
When the USA had so much spare grain it was at times dumped to maintain the price of the grain as a commodity. The other use was to send it to distant lands to feed people there.
Today, we have a president that sunk the price farmers need to continue their work and to support their families. The largest buyer of American soybeans has been China. So farmers were abandoned by the President and his administration to chase a dream that imports could be taxed to pay USA costs to removes taxes as prescribed by the sixteenth amendment.
China has not returned to purchase American farmer’s soybeans. Congress has ended the tariffs as of yesterday, October 30, 2025
(Click here). That does not mean the soybeans are leaving the grain bins.
I once grew soybeans on a small acreage farm where most of our crops were vegetables. Our soybeans were a cash crop harvested by large agricultural machines called combines. I could have just as easily turned those acres of unharvested soybeans into pick your own. As a matter of fact even after harvesting there was enough left on the ground to fill a bushel.
American farmers need to sell their crops. Americans need grain, no different than those the UN sends food help to people in need. People can band together to seek purchase of grain from American farmers that can’t sell it elsewhere. Food cooperatives can result in wholesale purchases of soybeans, wheat, oats and any other commodity to provide for communities of people. We can find a way to provide grain and food to our communities while supporting our farmers to allow them to farm.
