Paul Ryan stated he thought the Presidency was better than this. Why is it I think Romney is a little out of touch?

When Mitt Romney states the President is rewarded by working with a small group of people who think he is great, it is he whom has to be the most egotistical person on Earth
I guess that community is comprised of many around the world. I could live with that community just fine.
...The bestowal of one of the world's top accolades on Obama, who has yet to score a major foreign policy success after nearly nine months in office, was greeted with gasps from the audience at the announcement ceremony in Oslo.

Describing himself as surprised and deeply humbled, Obama said he would accept the award as a "call to action" to confront the global challenges of the 21st century.

"I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments but rather an affirmation of American leadership on behalf of aspirations held by people in all nations," he said in the White House Rose Garden.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee praised Obama for "his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples," citing his fledgling push for nuclear disarmament and his outreach to the Muslim world....

This is a very hot troposphere with multiple vortexes and more forming. The tornado is connected with a newly formed cortex. (click title for 12 hour loop)

Tornado hits Dallas County, heading toward city

A tornado is reported on the ground in southeast Dallas county heading in the direction of the city.
WFAA-TV has been showing live video of the tornado gaining in size and speed as it churns toward the northeast.
Update at 2:23 p.m. ET: A tornado on the ground just south of downtown Dallas, WFAA TV reports.
Update at 2: 22 p.m. ET: WFAA reports that a "Code Black" has been issued at Parkland Hospital, which means keeping all patients awayfrom windows.

Below US Enhanced Infrared (click here for 12 hour loop)

I'd be prudently seeking the resolution between the three systems with conflicting boundaries over Nevada and California and then also conflicting boundaries at Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Michigan and Ohio.

The Southern Plains vortex has the highest velocity with the highest degree of temperature changes.

Impoverishing the American Middle Class only defeats the economy of the USA.

President Obama gave an excellent speech today at the Associated Press luncheon. Adjectives he used about the economy the GOP is proposing are Trojan Horse, radical and thinly veiled Social Darwinism.

He is correct. The GOP have designed an economic strategy for the wealthy. What the GOP never reflects on is the beauty of the American Dream. They call upon the words "American Exceptionalism," but, they don't speak to the truth of that opportunity.

The USA's exceptional place in the world is due to the strength of the Middle Class. It is a unique capacity in the world. The promise in the USA has always been that if a person applies themselves to addressing a "hope" for a future better than they were born into, it is possible to achieve it. That is not exclusively for lottery winners, but, it does REQUIRE the ability to achieve those goals.

The USA's birth right is the opportunity for a future that actually builds a unique economy. The USA's economy has always been powered by the large number of consumers within its borders due to its Middle Class. The promise of upward mobility 'is the economy' of the USA.

Safe living conditions

The USA promises to it's citizens the future holds more rewards then today. Retirement is coined as "The Golden Years." Retirement as a healthy person is a reward with the benefits of enjoyment POSTPONED in order to achieve those coveted years.

The GOP has no right to simply look into the pocketbooks of Americans to find where 'vats of money' lie in order to derive schemes to feed the wealthy. Changes in Social Security, Medicare and our entitlements are not a reasonable place to seek cuts in benefits. Seeking to improve health care delivery, which was a priority with the Affordable Care Act, to make it less costly to each member of an exchange will reduce the cost of Medicare.

The USA economy has not reached it's pinnacle of development. It is still expanding and adding jobs. The GDP is increasing. There is nothing static about this economy and the 'bottom line' is not set. The capacity of the Middle Class is the strength of this economy and the more people enjoying the benefits of the Middle Class the stronger the economy becomes. We have seen record setting statistics of impoverishment of Americans since 2008. Moving those people to the Middle Class, re-establishing them into the Middle Class only improves the size of our economy.

Subsistence economies where people scrape by do not grow, they stagnate. Middle Class statistics are all part of a viable and vibrant economy. The American Dream, the American Birth Right, the American Promise, "Hope," upward mobility and opportunity IS a strong economy. Inherent to the American MIddle Class is a strong economy. We need to continue to recover our economy and strengthen our country. I believe President Obama has proven his ability to direct and inspire our recovery.

Well. Now that Ann Romney wants to unzip Mitt, can we look forward to the "Lump in the Bed" poem.

It appears to be Ann Romney day here on the blog. First, Politico told us about the cold fear that she strikes the hearts of everyone in the Obama White House. Then she comes out and delivers with what may be the quote of the year regarding her husband, the Romneybot 2.0.

Ann Romney defended her husband's sense of humor today during a radio interview, explaining that if people think the candidate seems too stiff at times as the host suggested, she thinks "we better unzip him and let the real Mitt Romney out."

"Unzipping The Mitt" just entered the blog's Collected Euphemisms. As to anything else, well, must... not... think... of... that...
