The Road Less Traveled

Perhaps one will notice one of the infamous restaurants of Jeff Ruby. He is the latest in the line of burgeoning American heroes representing the values many Americans share. The value of bravery in the face of social intimidation.

OJ Simpson was not found innocent. He was found guilty of Wrongful Death in a civil court in California. As result of that decision which has never been overturned, Mr. Simpson is in debt to the victim's families. The only court that has released OJ Simpson from guilt was a criminal court tainted by a zealous detective. That is however not the only court involved. Everyone somehow conveniently forgets that. I don't want to have anything to do with the man, in a restaurant or out. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with race.

He ever arrives on any scene where I am, I leave taking my family and friends with me if he is served and treated as an equal in a setting where intimacy is shared. I find Mr. Simpson' brazen lifestyle appalling while he thumbs his nose at the Brown and Goldman families. O. J. Simpson has been found guilty of Wrongful Death on two counts. I want him nowhere near me. Ever.

The Andrea System is much larger than JUST the storm off Florida. It is my estimation it is 'reorganizing' east of the Virginia/Delaware/New Jersey coastline and might indeed head inland from there with sustained winds and rains.

A Vortex Street of sorts is forming along that EXTENDED Hemispheric Front - 12 hour loop

A lot of the turbulence is east of that 'front' which runs from east of New Mexico to West of Lake Superior then on into Canada, has it's most intense activity slightly above or below 36-37 North Latitude. That larger front is an issue because right behind it and currently pushing it along is a huge vortex that has been crossing the Northern Pacific. My concern is that any upper air disturbance can manifest quickly into a very dangerous vorticity in that 'eastern air mass.'

— A chance of rain was expected across much of Texas on Thursday following another day of heavy rains and thunderstorms in many areas, the National Weather Service said.
Minor street flooding was reported in many areas throughout West and South Texas. In the small southwest Texas town of Ozona, roads were flooded throughout the area after heavy rain, high winds and pea-sized hail on Wednesday afternoon, said Fire Chief Bob Falkner.
"The rain was swirling," said Falkner, who added that water several feet deep was swiftly running over roads.
In Brownwood, several intersections and underpasses were flooded and small streams were overflowing as the area got rain, said Beth Ellis, a dispatcher for Brownwood police.
In the Midland-Odessa area, partly cloudy skies were expected on Thursday with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning and areas of fog expected. Highs were expected around 80. Partly cloudy skies were expected in the evening with lows in the 50s.
Mostly cloudy skies were expected in the Austin area with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and highs in the lower 80s. By evening, mostly cloudy skies were expected with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and lows around 60.
In the Houston area, mostly cloudy skies were expected with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and highs in the lower 80s. Mostly cloudy skies were expected with a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening. Lows were expected in the lower 60s.
Cloudy skies were expected in the Dallas area with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and highs around 80. By evening, mostly cloudy skies were expected with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms and lows in the lower 60s.

...due to that commuting relationship it has with the Arctic vortex. It's still a powerful system and causing issues in coastal communities. It's final dissipation hasn't happened yet and a weakened storm does not mean it's going to stay that way. These oscillations are unpredictable to some extent.

The Andrea System caused at least two deaths that I am aware of and some pleasure boats sank as well. These systems are powerful and people don't have defense against them. Extra care has to be taken at the earliest of suspicions when these manifest. That didn't happen with The Andrea System and it's neglectful of the US Government. Absolutely no doubt as far as I am concerned.

The problem with the expertise of the USA at this point is that it's government MIXES politics and religion with public policy. In the case of The Andrea System, there is a profound lack of expertise as there is no recognition of a Global Climate Change and they only focus on activity in the North and East Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico. That leads to an overall 'dumming down' of the dynamics of the systems that impact the weather and climate of the USA. That fact was also pointed out to them by a world body not long ago when the Bush Administration insisted there was so such thing as Human Induced Global Warming. The USA Government grossly lacks competency in this area and hurricane season is nearly upon us.

That is why there needs to be a DIVISION OF CHURCH AND STATE. It is also why Alberto Gonzalez should be charged with a crime. He mixed politics with the firing of eight US Attorneys. I don't think so.

The new governor of Florida doesn't have the 'strings of power' into the White House at his disposal anymore as Jeb Bush did. He'll have to councel/resource with other state governors for help in how best to handle these issues if he is at a loss. The 'push button' emergency management of Jebby isn't there anymore.
