Flint River Project - meeting with government official this upcoming week.

The Turkish economy will fail. Turkey is not a threat to the USA.

There have been salvos before today. This is from May 15th:

In Turkey, (click here) little doubt can be left now as to who is in charge. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the country's formidable and ruthless president, has pushed out the Prime Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, and looks set to replace him with a candidate more inclined to do his bidding.
The surprise move follows a campaign by Mr Erdogan, who is supposed to hold a largely ceremonial role, to consolidate power in his office, and a period in which the president has waged war on journalists, critics, and the rebels of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
The 61-year-old and his AK Party enjoy a fierce and loyal support among Turkey's conservative, Muslim base, while outside the country outrage grows over his silencing of critics, often by force.

Turkish journalists have been investigated and put on trial, foreign journalists have been harassed and deported. Last month, police raided Turkey's biggest newspaper, Zaman. Its staff emerged bloodied and cowed...

The last coupe was in 1997.

Istanbul, Ankara (Al Jazeera)—Turkey’s military (click here) has officially declared a coup and said that it has “taken control of the country,” shutting down major bridges and Istanbul’s main airport.
The Dogan agency quoted the military on Friday as saying, that it wants “to reinstall the constitutional order, democracy, human rights and freedoms, to ensure that the rule of law once again reigns in the country, for the law and order to be reinstated.”

The military statement went on to say that “all international agreements and commitments will remain. We pledge that good relations with all world countries will continue.”...

He is another Timothy McVeigh. He wasn't born in France, but, he lived there. Domestic terror.

A day after a terrorist (click here) mowed down dozens of people celebrating Bastille Day in the coastal French city of Nice, investigators Friday dug into the life of the man they say was the killer: A 31-year-old delivery driver and Nice resident who was born in Tunisia.

Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhel drove a rented, refrigerated truck into crowds along a roughly 2-kilometer stretch of Promenade des Anglais along Nice's Mediterranean beachfront Thursday night, killing 84 people -- including 10 children and adolescents -- and injuring 202 others, French prosecutor François Molins said Friday.
The attack ended when police shot into the truck, killing the assailant. Of the injured, 52 were in critical condition, and 25 were in a coma Friday afternoon, Molins said.

Staff at the Lenval Hospital in Nice said 28 children remained hospitalized.

The media was wrong about this event in France.

McVeigh killed more people. McVeigh was also not in the vehicle when it blew up.

The water molecules in the troposphere are moving up in altitude. That is a fact.

There has been glacial recharge at the higher altitudes while the lower altitude glaciers receive no recharge and have retreated. The water vapor is no longer at Earth's surface.

During normal hurricane season, the 'near shore' storms take water to a higher altitude which builds enough to allow the development of higher category storms to develop. That means we are using ocean water to fuel the storms of Earth.

There are huge wedge storms that deliver water in events. Those wedge storms are carrying water from the upper troposphere. But, the water returning to Earth is not dense enough to end the evaporation of water in near shore storms.

Placing the one satellite under the other in time sequence might be helpful.

Antarctica is this magnificent continent at the bottom of Earth that provides for some of the best scientific investigation of space and outer space. There are all kinds of measurements including frequency, etc. The continent is researched as well, including the creaking of the ice and the land this massive ice sits on.

There is also an ozone later that is deteriorated in this region. It might prove to be an escape value for the heated water vapor of the troposphere. That is not a good result. There are only so many water molecules on Earth. That means nothing to the CO2 density either.

There is still turbulence, but, the large tornadoes at the LEFT, at 7 o'clock (sorry, i originally said right, my bad) lower corner above are gone. Also noted in the diminished mass of the tornado at 11 o'clock.

The movement of the turbulence had to be up into the tropopause as there was no major event in any of the drifts of Antarctica and it was Australia that was reporting significant weather.

I think this was an outgassing of water vapor event that will show up as Noctilucent Clouds. Earth is losing it's water molecules to the upper troposphere, tropopause and stratosphere.

Matter is fixed/constant. What leaves the troposphere remains outside the troposphere. It is a net loss of water molecules.

NASA and NOAA will probably do an assessment. The government records should be searched for other such events that resulted in an increase in noctilucent clouds in recent years.

There are high pressure systems over every continent of Earth except Antarctica following the vortex event yesterday.

The images come from "Earth" (click here)

    North and South America

    Africa and Asia

Australia, New Zealand is receiving some weather. There is water vapor in small amounts, including over USA, Texas.

Weather is literally absent from the USA climate today.

This would be insignificant on a local scale, but, when realizing there is weather absent from every continent it is extremely significant. I have to speculate there was a large water vapor movement into the Stratosphere. The turbulence of Antarctica was enormous.

    Current Surface (click here)

NASA and NOAA will have to evaluate all this, but, without water vapor at the surface Earth will heat.

At least he won't be governor anymore. He is too extreme for a national ticket.

Donald J. Trump (click here) named Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana as his running mate on Friday, adding to the Republican ticket a traditional conservative who boasts strong credentials with the Christian right, and bringing an end to a vice presidential selection process that seemed at risk of spinning out of control.
Mr. Trump announced the choice shortly before 11 a.m., the time at which he had planned to unveil his selection at an event in Manhattan.
But instead of a showy rollout in a Midtown hotel, Mr. Trump named Mr. Pence as his running mate on Twitter, after abruptly canceling their joint event in the aftermath of the attack in Nice, France, on Thursday evening.
“I am pleased to announce that I have chosen Governor Mike Pence as my Vice Presidential running mate. News conference tomorrow at 11:00 A.M.,” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter.
By choosing Mr. Pence as his partner, Mr. Trump has opted both to bow to political convention and also to gamble on a comparatively untested choice. Mr. Pence cuts a far more generic political profile than Mr. Trump; he is viewed by Republicans in Washington and Indiana as a sturdy and predictable politician....

The First Lady has conducted her final "Kids State Dinner."

On Thursday, (click here) 56 children streamed through the East Garden Room at the White House, each arriving beside a parent to receive an official introduction usually reserved for dignitaries and foreign heads of state.
The First Lady welcomed these young chefs from across the country to the White House for the fifth annual "Kids' State Dinner." Each attendee earned a spot at the event by submitting a healthy and inventive culinary creation.
"You guys blew us away with your creativity and your skills in the kitchen," Mrs. Obama said in remarks during the event, "You all are now part of a proud Kids' State Dinner tradition. You are part of a network of extraordinary young people who are leading a movement for healthy eating all across the country."
The winners each submitted a recipe to the Healthy Lunchtime Challenge competition, a part of Michelle Obama's "Let's Move!" initiative. After receiving over 1,200 applications, White House chefs prepared each recipe for a panel of judges that included "Let's Move!" staffers and previous winners of the challenge..

See, China is even refusing to recognize the ruling about sovereign borders.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang (click here) told Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Friday that his country should stop interfering and hyping up the South China Sea issue, as the dispute took center stage at a key regional summit in Mongolia.
China has refused to recognize Tuesday's ruling by an arbitration court in The Hague invalidating China's vast claims in the South China Sea and did not take part in the proceedings. It has reacted angrily to calls by Western countries and Japan for the decision to be adhered to.
Meeting in the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar, Li told Abe that China's stance on the South China Sea was completely in line with international law, state news agency Xinhua reported.
"Japan is not a state directly involved in the South China Sea issue, and thus should exercise caution in its own words and deeds, and stop hyping up and interfering", Li said, according to Xinhua.

Japan's Kyodo news agency said Abe told Li that a rules-based international order must be respected. The agency also said Abe and Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc had agreed the ruling must be observed....
Sorry, this was last year. I was trying to find something uplifting today, but, the result of my search was a year old reporting about the Volvo Ocean Race. There is one in the works with a course change. Something about China I think. I'll try one more time.

The fourth leg of the nine-month (click here) Volvo Ocean Race around the world set sail from China February 8 towards Auckland, New Zealand and the teams reached the midway point this week in the race.  However, it wasn’t long after the teams set sail that they were hit with brutal weather conditions in the South China Sea, including huge waves and winds over 25 knots.
“With each wave we slam into, anyone asleep slides five inches forwards until their head falls off the pillow and their feet touch the next bulkhead,” said Team Brunei’s Lithuanian sailor, Rokas Milevicius. He said the teams have been sleeping feet first this last week to to protect themselves from hitting their head.
“It’s so that you don’t slide forward and smash your head. It’ll break your legs, not your neck,” he explained....

The Republican National Convention may prove to be a dazzling event.

Cleveland  — A night highlighting the tragedy in Benghazi, Libya. (click here) An appearance by onetime football star Tim Tebow. A presentation detailing former President Bill Clinton’s sexual misconduct.

Donald J. Trump, the presumptive nominee, has been promising a different kind of Republican National Convention, and plans obtained by The New York Times show that he is eager to put his showbiz stamp on the party’s gathering, even as he struggles to attract A-list talent.

The roster of speakers obtained by The Times, and confirmed by two people with direct knowledge of the convention planning, reveals a lineup lacking many of the party’s rising stars. Instead, it features some of Mr. Trump’s eclectic collection of friends, celebrities and relatives, from his Slovenian supermodel wife, Melania, to the professional golfer Natalie Gulbis.

The parade of people seems to have been selected to broaden Mr. Trump’s demographic reach.

There are several notable women speaking. They include Pam Bondi, the Florida attorney general, who tangled on television with the CNN anchor Anderson Cooper after the Orlando, Fla., nightclub massacre; Eileen Collins, the first woman to command a space shuttle mission; Gov. Mary Fallin of Oklahoma; Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa; and Mr. Trump’s wife, Melania....

Training has been raised as a problem with aggressive police.

    July 14, 2016
By Mitch Smith and Timothy Williams

St. Paul — The Minnesota police officer (click here) who fatally shot an African-American man during a traffic stop last week had recently undergone specialized training that critics say can lead officers to believe they are under constant threat of being harmed and can intensify encounters with civilians.

The officer, Jeronimo Yanez, of the Police Department in St. Anthony, Minn., shot and killed Philando Castile after a traffic stop in nearby Falcon Heights, Minn., on July 6. The shooting is being investigated by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. The Justice Department has said it is monitoring the case.

Policing tactics have been under heightened scrutiny since the fatal police shooting in Ferguson, Mo., of Michael Brown, an unarmed African-American teenager, in August 2014. The police officer in that encounter was not indicted but the department was sharply criticized for its tactics in a report by the Justice Department....

The training is no secret. This is an article from 2007 listing police departments that had trained with "Blackwater." Nearly ten years later the deaths of innocent Black Americans is evident to the underlying training and FEARS.

    October 16, 2007

Well Blackwater (click here) has apparently been training police in American cities and towns for some time now. I don't know if this is old news or not I've been away from the internet for over a week due to the death of my Mother. I apologize if this topic has already been covered in other diaries.
I find it horrifying that these religious right-wing mercenaries are crusading in Muslim lands but I'm mad as hell that they are also training US Law Enforcement....

    Pre-programmed police? Really?

...Since then, many police departments across the country, with encouragement from the Justice Department, have opted for what they refer to as a guardian mentality, in which de-escalation of potentially violent situations and similar techniques are emphasized.

Some departments, however, believe that a more traditional and aggressive so-called warrior approach is necessary....

OMG! Police need to be willing to use their guns when needed, but, pre-programmed? What is this Robo-Cop?

Police are suppose to be thinking people, not a money machine or warrior or assuming every person is a potential ENEMY.

These people walk among Americans. Like, what?

...According to a Badge of Life study (click here) there were 51 deaths by suicide of law enforcement officers in the last six months of 2015.  That would indicate that approximately 102 law enforcement suicides occurred last year. The good news is that deaths by suicide decreased for law enforcement officers in 2015 compared to the last study in 2012 by 19%.  While these represent a good trend; it is simply not good enough....

    This is PTSD!

Americans need police officers and not "Soldier Cops."

There needs to be a real training program including more than 90 days of training. There needs to be a period of "on the job training period" that brings an understanding of the people being policed and end any artificial fears.

The police and the people need SPACE between them right now and ending the policing of minor violations is the best way to achieve a greater safety zone.

If possible organizations such as the NAACP should develop a SENSITIVE TRAINING program for police throughout the country, no different than soldier training for police. The police need to be returned to THINKING rather than REACTING. I know the Black Community in the USA have magnificent professionals among them. Commission a program to train police to be sensitive to Black Citizens in their Communities. This program should also be customized for a community and their particular cultural differences, too.

The police unions should be offered these training programs to remove the very heinous aggression the police unions advocate.

This is a lone wolf attack.

Some experts believe the attacks in France is an example of the areas still with potential for attacks while the land held by Daesh continues to shrink in Syria and Iraq. The driver by some is believed to have crossed the Turkish border a few weeks ago.

The war mongers can end their ranting about a weak President because CONGRESS hasn't passed an AUMF in more than a decade.

The French police were on the scene when the truck arrived and immediately fired shots to end the carnage.

14 July 2016 ...Many hundreds (click here) were told to run from the scene by police, and the president of the local region, Christian Estrosi, urged everyone in the city to remain indoors.
Witnesses said the driver hit the crowd at high speed, swerving to hit as many as possible before climbing out of the car and shooting more dead.

Mr Estrosi said the lorry was loaded with grenades and guns.

There are reports stating the driver was a not affiliated with any terrorist group and the grenades were not real. That raises many questions including the sanity of the drive.

He said "every heart" was with them: "We must stand firm. Proud of the solidarity which is being organised in Nice".
President Francois Hollande rushed back to Paris in the wake of the attack, and announced three security measures, including the extension of France's state of emergency - due to end on 26 July - for a further three months.
"A horror has come down on France again," he said, adding that "the terrorist character [of the the attack] cannot be denied"....

Part of the reason Paris is falling into vulnerability to attacks of any determined lone wolf or group is because the people are viewing these attacks as an assault against their way of life. That is something Americans never questions initially. It wasn't until reports of government over reach became an issue did Americans react in a way to return their quality of life and reduce invasions into privacy. The French people are not waiting to find out the government is becoming as much as a threat due to over reach.
