The UN has to make this a priority as well as peace. Everyday and in everyway !

Chairman of the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Rajendra Pachauri speaks at an international conference on environment education in Ahmadabad, India, Monday, Nov. 26, 2007. Global warming has hit agricultural productivity, particularly wheat production in the country, said Pachauri. The IPCC had shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize with former U.S. Vice President Al Gore. The United Nations MUST take steps to insure every First World country is doing their part. If it takes sanctions then it takes sanctions. But, the USA has to stop this insane denial of the truth and move to limit carbon dioxide. There is no other way. Unless the USA is made to deal with this issue, the worst will happen. The USA, on a good day, looks the other way to any responsiblity for it's 25% global carbon load. Now, it's going to have large volumes of Commercial Airliners increasing the carbon load. What does that do to the other countries sincerely interested and destined to abide by Kyoto. Everytime the global community takes on an initative to stop and reverse Human Induced Global Warming, the Bush/Cheney administration and their Republican House and Senate crank up the emissions even higher. They are human rights abusers. The world know it. The global community needs to take action against the USA !!! No more oil. Sell it to India and China. I live here, the last thing I want is to stop driving my automobile, but, if it gets expensive enough, then I guess I'll have to find another way.

The International Community needs to act. The USA is way out of line and time is running out !

BRASILIA, Nov 27 (Reuters) - Unless the international community agrees to cut carbon emissions by half over the next generation, climate change is likely to cause large-scale human and economic setbacks and irreversible ecological catastrophes, a United Nations report says on Tuesday.
The U.N. Human Development Report issues one of the strongest warnings yet of the lasting impact of climate change on living standards and a strong call for urgent collective action.
"We could be on the verge of seeing human development reverse for the first time in 30 years," Kevin Watkins, lead author of the report, told Reuters.
The report, to be presented in Brasilia on Tuesday, sets targets and a road map to reduce carbon emissions before a U.N. climate summit next month in Bali, Indonesia.

Georgia is not the only state drying out. NC counts on hurricanes on a regular basis for replenishment of the water supply. There is no rain.

If there is no water vapor, there is no prediction. They have it all "W"rong.

The forecasters, including Dr. William Gray and Philip Klozbach, don't believe in Human Induced Global Warming. What do you expect?

Max Mayfield, left, director of the National Hurricane Center, and Stephen Baig, storm surge team leader, look over and talk about the latest storm surge output data in August 2005 as Hurricane Katrina headed towards New Orleans.
If a hurricane predictor doesn't believe in the science that will support accurate predictions, there won't be any. You have CNN's Chad the Weather Man promoting higher volumes of airliners in the sky. That is the last thing this country should be promoting or doing. No one involved in any way with this DC administration and Republican House and Seante even lends itself to recognizing Climate Change, yet alone predict it.

Hurricane predictions miss the mark
BY MARTIN MERZER
Two years ago, way under. Last year, way over. This year, still not right.
It's been a stormy few years for William Gray, Philip Klotzbach and other scientists who predict total hurricane activity before each season begins, which raises fundamental questions as the 2007 season draws to an end on Friday:
Why do they bother? And given the errors -- which can undermine faith in the entire hurricane warning system -- are these full-season forecasts doing more harm than good?
''The seasonal hurricane forecasters certainly have a lot of explaining to do,'' said Max Mayfield, former director of the National Hurricane Center.
''The last couple of years have humbled the seasonal hurricane forecasters and pointed out that we have a lot more to learn before we can do accurate seasonal forecasts,'' he said.
The numbers provide abundant support for those statements.
Just before the season started on June 1, the nationally prominent Gray-Klotzbach team at Colorado State University predicted that 17 named storms would grow into nine hurricanes, five of which would be particularly intense, with winds above 110 mph.
A different team at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration predicted 13 to 17 named storms, seven to 10 hurricanes and three to five intense hurricanes.
The actual results for the 2007 season: 14 named storms, five hurricanes, two intense hurricanes.
That turned a season predicted to be extremely active into one that was about average in number of storms and well below average in total intensity.
Even mid-season corrections issued by both teams in August -- somewhat akin to changing your prediction about a baseball game during the fifth inning -- proved wrong.
Their pre-season predictions in 2005 and 2006 were even worse....

The weather at Glacier Bay National Park (Crystal Wind Chime) is warm and every indication it will get warmer. And why?

Because Bush/Cheney have absolutely not intentions of honoring any commitment to stop the high levels of Carbon Dioxide the USA puts into the troposphere.

Bush has replaced the FAA Administrator with a Navy Fly Boy to lead the USA out of solely military airspace, as a giveaway to airlines. These airlines aren't even domestic carriers. They are the new European editions that bring Europeans to the USA for a 'cheap holiday outing.'

Bush had these plans a long time ago. He is literally selling the National Security of the USA, to allow exploitation of USA military airspace while dumping huge amounts of additional carbon dioxide into the troposphere.

It has been completely laughable to watch CNN pander to Bush/Cheney. Did I say pander? I should have said succumb. Chad, what's his name, weather man had this hideous USA Map with little gray airplanes covering every inch of the country stating, "The airlines are experiencing delays because they don't have any place to land and therefore can't take off."

Sure. CNN, the Bush/Cheney propaganda network is at it again; then AC 360 promotes coal as a reasonable fuel alternative to ? oil ? Cheaper, perhaps, different carbon load from oil, NEVER.

President Bush, left, at the White House Thursday with Robert A. Sturgell, the acting Federal Aviation Administration head.

NOVEMBER 19, 2007 -- President George W. Bush late last month tapped Robert Sturgell, a former pilot for United Airlines, to lead the Federal Aviation Administration, succeeding Marion Blakey, who left the agency in September after her five-year term ended. Sturgell, who was also a U.S. Navy aviator, was Blakey's deputy since 2003. "Bobby has worked tirelessly to modernize our nation's air-traffic control system,'' White House spokeswoman Dana Perino told reporters upon announcing the nomination last month. The Senate must confirm the nomination. Sturgell will take the helm of an agency that's trying to restructure aviation taxes, placate the air traffic controllers union over pay, and reduce congestion at the nation's busiest airports, most urgently in New York.

Bush/Cheney are liars and deceivers as well as some of the most corrupt politicians on Earth. They never intended to reduce the USA's carbon load and never will ! It is not about holiday travel. It's about selling the concept of making military airspace available to commercial use. It's intended to continue to be used. I didn't think holiday travel was a national emergency, so much so that military airspace and compromising National Security was required. It's about money and plenty of it.

Travelers expected the worst from Newark Liberty International Airport this weekend, recalling seemingly endless security lines, hours-long waits on the tarmac and delayed or even canceled flights that tarnished past Thanksgiving trips.

Bush/Cheney need legislation to regulate. This is simply outrageous. Maybe now we can open airlines up to the very air space we have to have available to scramble NORAD. Now there is a thought ! Liars, they are all liars. Just that simple !
