"Gas Buddy"

"Gas Buddy" can be helpful if there aren't an entire army of cars heading in that direction.

Florida residents need to think about more than "Gas Buddy," if it is getting late, people need to fill their empty car seats with neighbors. If shelters are near, GO.

The roads have to remain functional and moving. As the storm approaches, stop the traffic moving south and open the south bound roads to north bound traffic. The military might need those south bound lanes, so some coordination is needed.

I think the Florida Governor is doing all he can. The people have to do their part and BE SMART.

Trains, planes and buses.

If elderly and handicapped are known, please be sure authorites are aware and/or lend a hand. They may be trapped and unable to move from the path of danger.

How did this happen? How did a very dangerous product find itself on nearly every continent in the world?

People should be jailed for such atrocities. This is just unconscionable. It is astounding this has occurred in countries that know better.

Potentially lethal aluminium composite panels (click here) which have been widely used on apartment buildings across Australia should be subject to an immediate total ban on their importation, sale and use, a Senate committee has recommended.
There should also be measures introduced to make designers, developers, suppliers and installers much more accountable for the highly flammable products – rather than making the owners of the apartments face possibly huge bills at the end of the chain to make their homes safe.
The committee reported on Wednesday evening after deliberations following fires that spread via the panels and enveloped the Grenfell Tower in London, killing over 80 people, that raced up the Lacrosse building in Melbourne and that have twice struck The Torch in Dubai....

Un appears to have scientists without insight to the power they unleash.

There was a significant amount of land disturbance. North Korea has proven to have an unreliable missile system and now it is playing with power it has not measured to minimize the disturbance to a 'testing' magnitude. This is simply unleashing power. This is not even a controlled outcome.

All this testing is very sloppy and Un needs to realize his science is uncontained. He could cause unreliable outcomes and has to come to terms with adverse outcomes to even his own people.

He needs to stop his testing of both explosive power and missile testing. The science outcomes have to be predictable when testing is done. Testing is supposed to reflect the perfected science, not trial by error. This is not good science and Un is endangering his own people as well as the region. I have always stated North Korea's best defense is strong allies in the region. This testing is more proof of same.

Kim Jong-un’s hydrogen bomb test(click here) triggered a series of landslides in North Korea, new satellite images suggest.

They were generated at the Punggye-ri military testing site where the secretive communist state conducted an underground detonation in tunnels below Mount Mantap over the weekend.

The country’s sixth nuclear test caused “more numerous and widespread” disturbance than their previous five tests, according to analysis group 38 North, who released the images earlier this week.

The test caused a 6.3 magnitude tremor, followed moments later by a 4.1 magnitude quake.

They led to fears that a rock over the test site had caved in, although 38 North said the images appeared to confirm this was not the case.

The group did say the images suggest disturbances had taken place “beyond” the test site of Punggye-ri....

There are victims.

There is another disturbance coming from east Africa. It doesn't have a name yet.

Below are the numbers for Irma. Interestingly, Irma has increased it's central pressure, but, this time it also decreased it's wind speed. There was resistance from the islands. It put drag on it. Irma is tracking northeast.

"It was like a horror movie" - Residents of Barbuda describe the destruction wrought by Hurricane Irma.

September 7, 2017

The small island (click here) of Barbuda is said to be "barely habitable". Officials warn that Saint Martin is almost destroyed, and the death toll is likely to rise.

Irma is a category five hurricane, the highest possible level.

It is currently north of the Dominican Republic, heading towards Turks and Caicos.

The most powerful Atlantic storm in a decade, it has sustained wind speeds of 285km/h (180mph)....
