A fifth grade student went to school, was injured in her classroom and died. Call the SBI and if that doesn't work call the FBI.

She was probably fatally injured by an adult in the classroom that attempted to restrain her without any idea of what she was doing.

Where were Raniya's injuries? Her throat, chest, where?

The South Carolina State Bureau of Investigation needs to be enlisted in solving this murder. If the SBI can't or won't take the case, then call the FBI and simply ask them to determine the death of a fifth grader that went to school and was fatally injured.

Stop expecting anyone locally to handle this. If it hasn't resulted in knowledge to her death a week after the incident, it never will. Get higher authorities involved.

Who is sure if she was injured in a fight? Where is the proof and who was involved? I don't think she was injured in a fight. I do believe there is a cover up and she was murdered. The question is, was it manslaughter or not?

The father of a South Carolina girl (click here) who died after a fight in her classroom last week made a public plea Monday for answers about what happened to his daughter.

Ten-year-old Raniya Wright died Wednesday, two days after she was injured when a fight broke out at Forest Hills Elementary School in Walterboro -- a town of 5,100 people about an hour's drive west of Charleston.

A week after the fatal injuries, authorities still haven't told Raniya's father exactly what happened or what kind of injuries the fifth-grader suffered.

"I'm here today looking for justice for my daughter," Jermaine Van Dyke told reporters at a news conference Monday. "I want just to find out what happened, how it happened, and who was involved."
Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis (click here) shows a bounce back to a higher unemployment rate among African Americans.

The all time high was in July 1983 with an unemployment rate of 20.1. The rate climbed with the global economic collapse. It began to be reduced again when President Obama took office in 2009. The unemployment rate of African Americans continued to fall until April 2018 with a rate of 6.6. Since April of 2018 it has risen and fallen but never fell back to 6.6. As of February 2019 it was 7.3 percent.

With the same source of information, the Hispanic experience (click here)  is slightly different. The return to high unemployment rate shows as the African American rate did with the 2008 global economic collapse. As of February 2019 the unemployment rate among Hispanics and Latino populations in the USA was 4.3 percent.

February 2019 the Asian unemployment rate was 3.2 percent.

The Caucasian rate never occurs above 10 percent. (click here) The highest rate was December 1982 which was 9.7 percent. February 2019 the rate was 3.3 percent.

The total civilian unemployment rate (click here) for February 2019 was 3.8 percent.

In case anyone wonders what side of the road Trump actually stands there is this:

There is no doubt at all that Donald Trump is loyal to other forces in the world and he is not trustworthy of the USA's presidency. Trump's disrespect of NATO and other American allies is directly related to his loyalty to his friends and foreign relationships.

I don't trust Trump as far as I can spit and I don't spit.

Trump cannot deny his disrespect for NATO and Queen Elizabeth as symbols of his loyalty to Russia. He cannot deny his secret meetings with Putin whenever the opportunity presented itself. There is no reason for me to trust Trump. His actions speak louder than his lies.

A former Trump aide (click here) now under federal investigation as part of the Russia probe earned millions working for a corrupt pro-Russian political party that repeatedly disparaged America's most important military alliance.

Paul Manafort, who was Trump's campaign chief from May to August 2016, spent nearly a decade as a consultant to Ukraine's Party of Regions and its standardbearer, Viktor Yanukovych.

Backed by Russian-leaning oligarchs, the party opposed NATO membership and spouted anti-Western rhetoric that once helped fuel violence against American marines. Its reign ended when Yanukovych fled to Russia after bloody street protests against his personal corruption and pro-Moscow actions....

...As NBC News previously reported, federal officials say that the money Manafort earned from both the party and the oligarchs — and what he did with it — are part of what has drawn the attention of investigators. New details keep emerging as U.S. and Ukrainian officials piece together Manafort's contacts and payments in Ukraine from 2004 to 2014....

AG Barr has not followed the law and issues his EEOC statement and there are moral issues at the DOJ among the LGBTQ community.

Dear Attorney General Barr:

On behalf of DOJ Pride, (click here) we congratulate you on your appointment as the 85th Attorney General of the United States. Welcome back to the Department of Justice.

DOJ Pride was founded in 1994 to represent the thousands of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) employees and contractors, as well as their allies, who serve the Department each day with professionalism and distinction. We have a history of collaborating with Department leadership to identify and address issues that affect the Department’s LGBTQ employees. We write today to express our desire to work with you and your leadership team to foster a welcoming and inclusive workplace here at the Department.

To further this goal, we raise two related matters that are of present concern to our membership: the Department’s failure to issue an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) statement as required by law, and the declining morale of the LGBTQ workforce.

Equal Employment Opportunity Statement An EEO statement is a critical affirmation of an agency’s rights and values. The requirement to issue an EEO statement stems from the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as implemented by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Management Directive 715.1 MD-715 requires the heads of all federal agencies to issue “a written policy statement expressing their commitment to [equal employment opportunity] and a workplace free of discriminatory harassment,”...

...Because MD-715 requires agency heads to issue an EEO statement at the beginning of their tenures—and thereafter on an annual basis—now is the appropriate time to formulate a statement that affirms the Department’s commitment to a workplace free from discrimination, including discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, and gender expression. We are ready to assist in any way we can.

Declining Morale

DOJ Pride surveyed its membership in October 2018 to assess members’ perspectives on working for the Department. The results indicate that morale is low among LGBTQ individuals currently employed in the Department, and that the Department is not recruiting and retaining top LGBTQ talent. The following comments are representative:

● “The DOJ is no longer the welcoming, inclusive environment for LGBTQ employees that it once was.”

● “It’s harder for gay men and trans people to work in the BOP. The BOP definitely does not attract or very often retain gay men and trans people.”

● “Agents attend[ing] the FBI academy that are gay and/or latino are definitely discriminated against and in many cases evaluated more harshly than other new agents and dismissed from the academy.”

● “Please do something about the FBI’s unfair evaluation process at the FBI Academy. There are many gay agents attending that are dismissed because they are not ‘bro-y’ or masculine enough.”

● “I have had many LGBTQ friends either leave the Department or express disinterest in applying to openings in the Department in the first instance.”

● “I am leaving the DOJ in part due to the DOJ’s treatment of its LGBTQ employees.”...

The USA Department of Justice has always maintained high integrity for the diversity that exists in the department. It is time Barr live up to it.

Department of Justice Diversity Management Policy Statement (click here)

The Department of Justice employs more than 115,000 talented and diverse women and men to help meet its mission and goals. We are stronger, more credible, and more effective when our workforce includes highly qualified individuals with backgrounds, cultures and traditions that reflect our Nation’s rich diversity.

We value diversity in our workforce and embrace the cultural and demographic dimensions of our country. We work diligently to attract and retain a workforce that represents the range of personal and professional backgrounds, and experiences and perspectives that arise from differences of culture and circumstances. This includes persons of varying age, ethnicity, gender, disability, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin, political affiliation, socioeconomic and family status, and geographic region....
There better be plenty of whistleblowing from the Department of Defense if Trump doesn't protect the USA.

It is about time someone from the USA confronted Russia over the Caribbean Sea aggression.

What Russia is involved in at this very moment is an act of aggression. Russia is cultivating nuclear capacity in the Caribbean Sea, primarily at this point in Cuba and Venezuela. There is an arms build up in Cuba.

An act of aggression by a major nuclear power is an act of war. It is about time someone in the Trump Administration is getting serious about Russian aggression in the Western Hemisphere.

The idea Venezuela is suffering from socialism is wrong and quite stupid. Saudi Arabia, another oil country, is not suffering from socialism and there is socialism in Saudi Arabia.

John Bolton takes a hard line on everything even when there is no hard line to take, so it makes him rather unpopular. In this instance, I am grateful for his stance against the Russian aggression taking place in the Caribbean Sea. There needs to be a clear understanding the USA will move against the current facilities Russia is establishing if Russia does not dismantle them and take the nuclear capacity jets back to Russian soil. I don't care who paid for them, they don't belong in Venezuela or any other country in the Western Hemisphere.

If Russia insists on maintaining this aggressive stance and continues it, the USA will have the RIGHT to move against those facilities in Venezuela, Cuba AND also Russia.

Russia is enforcing destabilization efforts by Maduro in Venezuela and there is no appreciable relief for the people of that country.

NATO and the post Soviet states need to pay attention.

No one should just be satisfied flights have resumed.

Traditionally, this is April's Fools Day, but, this is no joke. I believe it was a cyber attack if Aerodata can't explain the failure. It is my concern the hackers that like to defeat societies and governments have learned without significantly working software, the airline industry is out of business.

Multiple airlines, including Southwest, American and Delta, (click here) saw their planes temporarily grounded early Monday morning due to a computer outage in a central system. As a result, travelers can expect lingering flight delays as airlines play catch-up.

The Federal Aviation Administration said several airlines experienced issues with AeroData, a program that provides weight-and-balance information that is necessary to grant clearance for takeoff. The FAA said severity varied by airline.

Southwest Airlines said the outage grounded flights for about 40 minutes.

Airline spokesman Dan Landson said that scattered flight delays are anticipated and customers should check Southwest.com for the latest updates on specific flights....
