Sincerest sympathies

We live in a world where the cruelty of killing serves a greater purpose, a political purpose. In Afghanistan it has always been the struggle between good and evil. Afghanistan is a cruel land where extremists thrive. It is the global hideaway and while the USA’s purpose was noble there was little progress made to a stable country for an entire generation of Americans.

It is all too easy to state forever wars are necessary when the majority of dead Americans hail from a small town where education and unemployment do not create a strong and sustainable future.

There are other ways the USA can prevent the country of Jihadists from exporting their ideology of hate, intolerance and death.

We lost precious people today at the hand of those that resolve their hate with death. My sincerest sympathies to family and friends of the dead. They serviced the USA with dedication. We owe their memory respect.

It was easy to set bombs.

There were many people that ISIS hated, including Afghans leaving the country, milling about with suitcases and backpacks. It was impossible to set up a perimeter with people coming through all the time.

Bring them home. August 31, 2021 date of leaving. SET UP A PERIMETER. If is causes problems in processing then the processing will have to be done at distant locations.

Kabul Airport will never be an asset to Afghanistan again. There will be a lot of destruction because of the new civil war between ISIS and the Taliban. Pakistan should close its borders to prevent migration of jihadists.

The USA cannot save every life….

…in Afghanistan or other countries where we have footprints. That is why we advocate democracy and human rights at every turn. We can pass on the path to success and quality of life. Freedom is unwanted by the Afghan Islamic extremists, therefore, we are unwanted.

Every American soldier dating back to the first foreign war the USA fought have found friends and sometimes marriages among foreign nationals. Those relationships are hard to leave behind and even POWs, such as the Late Senator John McCain, have returned in more peaceful times to assist in establishing freedom and democracy and a sustainable economy.

It is time to leave Afghanistan. Those coming home need to leave now.
