There was one comment about immigration reform that can't go unrecognized.

There was a lot of invoking God, but, no one invoked Pope Francis.

Marco Rubio has hit a new low. He stated in order to be given a 'Worker Visa' the current Undocumented would have to pass all the tests President Obama outlined including background checks (which is interesting by itself since Republican candidates don't want background checks for guns), except Senator Rubio will not allow any Undocumented, pregnant women, wife, mother or stay at home dad to stay in the USA if they can't prove they benefit the US economy. Rubio wants to eliminate the part of the immigration code that allows relatives to come to the USA for permanent citizenship. The only people allowed to stay in the USA are the ones with merit. It wasn't clear as to whether or not the merit rule would apply only to the Undocumented. My impression was that NO immigrant would be allowed to apply for citizenship even legally applying if it wasn't based in merit.

Later.

I've heard everything now.

The one real idea I heard during the "Voters First Forum" (click here) came from Rand Paul who attended the forum from Washington, DC via video; "Allow a deduction of the student loan from earned income."

I should say, I think the forum was done well. There was actually only one candidate on the stage at a time. They rotated through the stage as each candidate was questioned and allowed free time to talk about their virtues as a candidate.

I think Senator Paul should put forward a bill in the Senate clearly outlining the deduction for student loans. It wasn't clear as to whether the entire payment of the student loan came off earned income or perhaps only the interest. He needs to write the bill and submit it to committee. I think he may have an ally with a woman Senator that has been working to relieve students of that terrible debt.

Otherwise, the outrageous statements were aplenty, but, guess who made the most outrageous statement? That is exactly correct, Ted Cruz. He stated President Obama was the greatest leader of militant Islamic terrorists. How did he get there? See, it is very strange ? logic ? only a Senator seeking the majority of low information voters as his base could pull out of thin air.

It goes like this:

1. Iran is the largest country of state sponsored terrorism.

2. President Obama has negotiated an agreement with the other permanent members of the United Nation's Security Council and Germany to allow sanction relief with Iran while averting the development of nuclear weapons.

3. Iran's sanction relief equals $100 billion.

4. The previous three statements equates to President Obama being the one leader that has sponsored Radical Islamic Terrorists.

That statement by Ted Cruz is racist in more than one way.

This just in from RT.

Two people have died, (click here) and at least 15 other were injured, when a circus tent collapsed at Lancaster Fairgrounds, New Hampshire on Monday, according to local reports.
Initially, 250 people were trapped under the tent but they made it out safely, reported local NBC 5.

Now, that is interesting news. Was it the tent that was improperly assembled or was it the weather?

From the BBC:

Obama’s plan is overdue but welcome all the same (click here)

3 August 2015
President Obama on Monday set out a plan to reduce US greenhouse gas emissions. His proposals are neither new nor radical, but deserve to be strongly supported, both in America and across the globe. Explicitly, the statement was a challenge to state governors, to Republican senators and congressmen, to fossil-fuel barons, to entrepreneurs who want to invest in renewable sources of energy, and to citizens who want to hang on to their homes and their jobs.

Implicitly, it was assurance to the rest of the world that there could be real agreement at the next United Nations climate conference in Paris in December. And if there is real agreement, based on binding promises and targets that can be measured, then it might after all be possible to contain global warming to a maximum of 2C and to limit catastrophic climate change. To cut greenhouse gas emissions by 32% from levels surpassed 10 years ago and to do it all by 2030 sounds pretty radical: hundreds of coal-fired power stations could close, mines could shut down. There will be legal and administrative challenges, from at least a dozen states, maybe two dozen. Americans who do not believe that climate change is a real hazard, and those who accept the science but not the solutions, are hardly likely to change their minds because of yet another fiat from the White House....

By Jeb Bush

“President Obama’s Carbon Rule (click here) is irresponsible and overreaching. The rule runs over state governments, will throw countless people out of work, and increases everyone’s energy prices.

“The fact is, U.S. emissions of greenhouse gasses are down to the same levels emitted in the mid-1990s, even though we have 50 million more people. A chief reason for this success is the energy revolution which was created by American ingenuity – not federal regulations.

“Climate change will not be solved by grabbing power from states or slowly hollowing out our economy. The real challenge is how do we grow and prosper in order to foster more game-changing innovations and give us the resources we need to solve problems like this one.”...

Blatant out right lies. Jeb Bush lies about the danger to the lives of Americans. It is easy for him to lie. He has a brother named George that set the example.

50 million people haven't been responsible for the climate crisis and the increase in carbon dioxide. What is Jeb Bush's plan, "Hold Your Breath."

No, wait, maybe the Jeb Bush answer is "Don't have any more babies." The babies simply add to the CO2 burden of Earth and pose a real threat to the petroleum industry by US Lefties.

Jeb Bush is really sad. He hasn't been through enough school to understand scientists don't lie. Their findings are based in fact. The amounts of CO2 when Mauna Loa Laboratories were first launched in 1956 was below 320 ppm. The recording of CO2; the continuous monitoring of CO2 began in 1956. It started under President Eisenhower. Perhaps he had the idea the rising greenhouse gas content of Earth with the onset of the industrial revolution was something to worry about.

Evidently, the findings of the US military aren't enough to satisfy Jeb Bush. That is the problem with the political right wing. They accept nothing as fact and use the USA for their political purpose of pandering to the Wall Street including losers such as the Kochs and Waltons. That is why the Kochs and Waltons are investing huge amounts of money into controlling the outcomes of American elections. If the American government actually did the best thing for the American people, the Kochs and Waltons might go out of business. Imagine that.

Several factors converged (click here) in the mid- to late 1950s that encouraged atmospheric scientists to study carbon dioxide distribution. One was declaration of the International Geophysical Year (IGY) in 1957-1958; another was the serendipitous construction of a new atmospheric observatory high on the slope of Mauna Loa, Hawaii, by the United States Weather Bureau in 1956; a third was the interest and patronage of Harry Wexler and Robert Simpson of the Weather Bureau and the passion of Dr. Charles “Dave” Keeling of California Institute of Technology to learn more about atmospheric carbon dioxide....

President Eisenhower was correct. That concerned posture has not changed within the USA military. Today, the US Military recognizes the danger of the climate crisis as a threat to the national defense.

Jeb Bush states he is Catholic. Really? Evidently, the words of Pope Francis hasn't reach Jeb Bush yet. The question is, will they ever?

On August 3, 2015
President Obama (click here) and EPA announced the Clean Power Plan – a historic and important step in reducing carbon pollution from power plants that takes real action on climate change. Shaped by years of unprecedented outreach and public engagement, the final Clean Power Plan is fair, flexible and designed to strengthen the fast-growing trend toward cleaner and lower-polluting American energy. With strong but achievable standards for power plants, and customized goals for states to cut the carbon pollution that is driving climate change, the Clean Power Plan provides national consistency, accountability and a level playing field while reflecting each state’s energy mix. It also shows the world that the United States is committed to leading global efforts to address climate change....

I hear there is some Donald Trump nostalgia going around.

Evidently, some are finding a strange consistency between Donald Trump's past and his current positions as a presidential candidate today. Well, let me add an interesting photo to that understanding.

So much for Reagan in American economic growth.

When deciding about a candidate for president in 2016, realize the Democrats are better at economic growth than the Republican's best performer.

...“As this unemployment chart shows, (click here) President Obama’s job creation kept unemployment from peaking at as high a level as President Reagan, and promoted people into the workforce faster than President Reagan.

“President Obama has achieved a 6.1% unemployment rate in his sixth year, fully one year faster than President Reagan did.  At this point in his presidency, President Reagan was still struggling with 7.1% unemployment, and he did not reach into the mid-low 6% range for another full year.  So, despite today’s number, the Obama administration has still done considerably better at job creating and reducing unemployment than did the Reagan administration.

“We forecast unemployment will fall to around 5.4% by summer, 2015.  A rate President Reagan was unable to achieve during his two terms.”...

Obama's administration which was the only power supporting the return and growth of small business is superior to Reagan.

This is a comparison chart between Reagan (literally the red line) and Obama (the blue line). The difference between Democratic and Republican economics is extremely clear. Democratic economies provides equity to the country in all walks of life and ability to earn. Republican economics they tout proudly as Reaganomics is lack luster and boom and bust.

The Democrats never brag like Republicans do. Why?

The S&P 500 is one of the most commonly used benchmarks for the overall U.S. stock market. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) was at one time the most renowned index for U.S. stocks, but because the DJIA contains only 30 companies, most people agree that the S&P 500 is a better representation of the U.S. market. In fact, many consider it to be the definition of the market.

It doesn't matter what S&P index one looks at they all look the same. LEVEL before 2008, dropped to lows in 2009 and have not only recovered but escalated growth off the scale under the Obama presidency.

The graph to left is the S&P 400. 600 looks exactly the same. They not only returned to previous Obama levels, they exceeded them and never took a dip again. This graph is up to date to July 31, 2015.

Other popular Standard & Poor's indexes include the S&P 600, an index of small cap companies with market capitalizations between $300 million and $2 billion, and the S&P 400, an index of mid cap companies with market capitalizations of $2 billion to $10 billion.

Austerity is never the best route. Investing in the little guy, promoting union stability in representation and local economies always provide growth. Democrats have the best economies, not Republicans. Republican economies reap riches to cronies at the cost of the middle class.

Hillary Clinton emails are quickly becoming political election fodder in other countries.

It is appearing the emails on the Clinton server belonged on the Clinton server. I have said this before. The Clinton server is one that President Clinton uses for his foundation. His family and friends are part of that foundation and its' activities. IT IS ALL LEGAL. I doubt anything Sidney Blumenthal has to say, besides his hubris, needs to be classified. I am sure there are plenty of political leaders around the world wishing Sidney's hubris was classified.

But, to the point that there is 'gothca' information from the Clinton server that will sink her candidacy is nonsense. This is President Clinton's server. If Congress wants this server turned over to it's machination purposes, it needs to enact a law requiring ALL former Presidents to turn over their servers.

That would give equal opportunity to all campaigns every where in the world at bludgeoning each other. I am particularly interested in the Bush servers and the exchanges with Dick Cheney and include in those emails and wires Karl Rove.

Hillary Clinton has some of the proudest history as a trust worthy patriot in service to the USA. Her patriotism and love of this country stems from parents also devoted to this country. The Democratic Committee should have a tribute to the Clinton family at the convention regardless of who is nominated. The Democrats have a proud history with Hillary's family it should tout as its dedication to the promotion of women and minorities.

Hillary Clinton would never harm her country or party. Her integrity is above the ego driven priorities of most Republicans. She is and will be an incredible candidate for the presidency. She is honest and above reproach. The media should slither away in shame for a baseless ratings war.

Oh, I know, I know; "Defaming Hillary is the Republican's only chance." That says it all, doesn't it? Republicans can't run on the issues because of their corrupt political positions to promote Wall Street while destroying any ambitions or ability of the American people to OCCUPY local economies!

Go, Hillary, Go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

David Cameron (click here) is “aristocratic, unsure, inexperienced, oblique and largely uncommitted”; Boris Johnson is “Tory clown prince”.

That is, at least, according to emails released from a private system used by Hillary Clinton.

The damning assessments were allegedly made by Sidney Blumenthal, a key confidant of Ms Clinton and a former White House aide to Bill Clinton.

The messages were among tens of thousands of pages of emails which Ms Clinton was required to hand over to the US State Department earlier this year, following complaints that she had used a private email system for official business....

NEW DELHI (AP) " The speaker of India's Parliament (click here) has barred 25 opposition legislators from its sessions for the rest of the week for causing "grave disorder" after they created noisy scenes.

Parliament has been unable to conduct any business for weeks as the opposition demands that two leaders of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party resign for allegedly helping a former Indian cricket official facing investigation for financial irregularities.

On Monday speaker Sumitra Mahajan of the powerful lower house suspended the members of the Congress party. They are barred from entry the premises for the rest of the week.

While opposition lawmakers routinely delay the working of the Parliament as a form of protest, suspensions are extremely rare.

The backlash with the corruption of FIFA goes beyond the organization into the practice of sport.

It makes sense Rand Paul made a trip to Michigan. Minority issues (Detroit) and the Michigan miliitia.

HIGHLAND PARK, MI (click here) - A small crowd gathered on the front lawn of a home in Highland Park to hear from presidential hopeful and U.S. Senator Rand Paul Friday afternoon.
Appearing with a handful of local elected officials, including Democratic Highland Park Mayor DeAndre Windom, and business leaders, Paul delivered a short outline of his political strategy during his "Unleash the American Dream" event.
The Republican candidate said Friday that one of the problems with Washington, D.C., is that Republicans and Democrats are always fighting.
"We never get the solutions, because we don't have conversation," Paul said. "I came here, really, not to tell the mayor how to do his job, but to learn more about your city. ... The thing I think we all have to acknowledge is we face a lot of problems in our country ... so we need to figure out what works and what doesn't work."
Paul said he came to Highland Park to learn about the community's specific problems....

The Michigan Militia is the cornerstone to radical gun laws. It could be said, the Michigan Militia is the KKK of guns. They don't care about the slaughter of innocent children in their classrooms, they promote guns as the basis of a lifestyle. Gun groups such as the NRA have a real gratitude to the Michigan militia for their electorate from year to year. Oh, yeah, and don't forget the FOX viewer. The Michigan militia remains the roll model for current gun groups. "The only way to stop a bad man with a gun, is a good man with a gun." They never say, "Good people or Good women." Sexist as well as racist. There are no minority Michigan militia members last time I looked.

Within days of the Oklahoma City bombing (click here)  eyes across the globe turned to empty farm fields and lonely expanses of woods in Michigan in an effort to better understand the men the U.S. government claimed were responsible for the death of 168 people.

Newspaper headlines and TV news crews pounded Michigan Militia members after it was discovered that the men responsible for the April 19, 1995, bombing -- Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols -- may have attended militia meetings before they blew up the Alfred P. Murrah federal building in downtown Oklahoma City....

Below is from the Southern Poverty Law Center. Kindly donate to the Southern Poverty Law Center (click here) since the federal government has withdrawn it's funding because the right wing complained the SPLC was partisan. It's outrageous, but, it happened. The SPLC should sue the federal government over it's lost funding. Just because it is the political right wing that composes the most hate groups doesn't mean the PSLC is partisan.

A key figure of the 1990s antigovernment “Patriot” movement (click here) who largely dropped from public view in 2002 has resurfaced in Alaska, where he’s recruiting for his newly formed Alaska Militia.

Norm Olson, who founded the Michigan Militia in 1994, held an organizational meeting last Thursday at a community center in Nikiski, a small town in the Kenai Peninsula region about 170 road miles from Anchorage.

Olson’s message: “Something very evil this way comes.”

“We’re looking at catastrophe just a couple months away — economic collapse, food shortages around the world, prices in stores are gonna go skyrocketing with this inflation,” Olson told the roughly 20 attendees, according to The Redoubt Reporter, a Kenai Peninsula newspaper.
“I’m convinced that times are coming when we are going to have to repel federal aggression, tyrannical oppressive federal aggression. They’re going to want to quell any kind of uprising, because it’s bad for politics,” Olson was quoted as saying.

Presiding over the meeting alongside Olson was Michigan Militia co-founder Ray Southwell. In the 1990s Olson and Southwell together made the Michigan Militia one of the first major antigovernment Patriot groups in the country and helped transform their former home state into a hotbed of Patriot activity.
