Antarctica Temperature Satellite

(24 hour loop with images from 12 AM and 3 AM missing, click here). All exhibit far higher temperatures than ever noted before. East Antarctica is warmer than ever before and the only place still able to achieve tempertures of negative thirty, but, only for 6 hours.

There is an aggressive warming trend over Antarctica. The frigid air mass is gone. What remains is the inertia of the ice and the location of the continent. The 'heat' balance of Antarctica has been 'moved' from it's long standing stability. Heat transfers from the equator are chronic and in my opinion dangerous to Earth.

Global warming threatens penguins in Antarctica

MOSCOW, December 11 (RIA Novosti) - The penguin population in Antarctica has sharply decreased due to global warming, a World Wildlife Fund (WWF) report said Tuesday.
The report, entitled Antarctic Penguins and Climate Change, was read out at a
UN international climate change conference in Bali, Indonesia.
It said that the rapid melting of ice in Antarctica was killing the habitual habitat of penguins as well as reducing their food resources.
A WWF Web site, www.panda.org, said the report "shows that the four populations of penguins that breed on the Antarctic continent - Adelie, Emperor, Chinstrap and Gentoo - are under escalating pressure."
"In the northwestern coast of the Antarctic Peninsula, where warming has been the most dramatic, populations of Adelie penguins have dropped by 65% over the past 25 years," the Web site said.
"The Antarctic penguins already have a long march behind them," the site quoted Anna Reynolds, Deputy Director of WWF's Global Climate Change Program, as saying. "Now it seems these icons of the Antarctic will have to face an extremely tough battle to adapt to the unprecedented rate of climate change."
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, who visited Antarctica on November 10, said he was concerned about the melting of glaciers and pledged to take measures.
According to the WWF Web site, the Antarctic Peninsula is warming five times faster than the average rate of global warming.

Storm Lingers Over Arizona

Photographer states :: Snow fell for the first time in a long time here in Flagstaff, Dogs were having a blast in the snow.

...Winter storm warnings were in place for the Flagstaff area, the Mogollon Rim and White Mountains until 6 p.m. Tuesday. A heavy snow warning was issued for southeastern Arizona and snow advisories for northern Gila County and the Window Rock area. Snow levels were to remain around 4,500 feet through the day.
More than 3 inches of snow fell overnight at Flagstaff and the city was blanketed with 6 inches of snow at dawn. Schools were closed for a second day Tuesday....

Photographer states :: After a long week of storms, large waves and hardly winds, today the waves reached the 7-8 meters of height. On the Lighthouse of Mouro the large waves struck all day. With sun or without him; other times rain or cloudy.I remained 3 or 4 hours carrying out photos. The phenomenon of "the refraction of the light" upon impacting the sun on the foam of the waves provides ephemeral Rainbow. WIND information: www.windguru.com

There is no ice, just huge turbulence at the eastern edge of the Atlantic Ocean. This isn't normal in case anyone didn't investigate that possibilty. The author of the note that accompanies the picture is translated into English to reach folks that evidently should have their attentions directed to this unusal event.

Livestock Farmers Urged To Prepare For Severe Weather

Photographer states :: Ice Storm Pictures from Owasso, Oklahoma

There is permanent damage done to all these glorious trees. They won't recover easily from this damage and come spring may have significantly more damage that will result in their removal.
This is Human Induced Global Warming. It is completely and unequivocally obvious.

The 'air' is cold enough by 'season' and the very ice still remaining in the region to maintain the heavy ice on the burdened trees, but yet, the road and drive way are completely melted of any residual ice, there is no ice on the mailboxes or the truck. The surface is hotter than the air.
Completely obvious what occurred here.

It was a heat transfer system that came from the Equator that met with frigid Arctic air as well as cooler seasonal climatic air. As it passed over land masses it showered ice and snow due to the higher water vapor of th equator mixed with frigid air and when finished has cooled the troposphere's gaseous content, but, has done little to resolve the continued and chronic heating under the dense layer of carbon dioxide produced by human activity. This will continue until polar caps are destroyed and the tropics are dry and unable to sustain the very biotic nature that produces the vital water vapor for this process.
