Dear President Obama, Stop minor violation traffic stops. From an American that is still alive.

President Obama, the deaths won't stop of you don't solve the problem. This is not negotiating an arms treaty, this is bad methodology and racial profiling. It needs to end. There is no middle ground. Too many have died already.

SOLVE THE PROBLEM AND SAVE LIVES!

Citizens can go to their local mayor and council and demand city ordinances that respect human life by ending minor violation stops by police. There is a better way of doing it with current or pending technology. No police officer ever will have to get out of their car and expose themselves to danger again.

Enough is enough.

Get it done, no one else will.

That was minor violation, not minor traffic violations. No stopping for cigarello theft, selling CDs or Lucys. End minor violation stops, including traffic issues.

What a mess. There are vortices inside vortices. The southern hemisphere is getting some wicked weather.

The Antarctica turbulence is NOT classic. The Southern Hemisphere needs to reassess the patterns that will effect their weather.

THIS IS NOT CLASSIC!!!!!

It may seem classic, but, the etiology of the severity of the weather needs to be reassessed.

THIS IS NOT CLASSIC !

...The Bureau of Meteorology (click here) predicts today will have the worst of the weather, with temperatures close to zero expected across Victoria and strong winds and thunderstorms hitting coastal areas.
The cold air mass is a "classic Antarctic blast" that originated near the coast of Antarctica during the week, the Bureau said.
The State Emergency Service received more than 1000 calls following winds up to 100km/h that uprooted trees and caused widespread damage to property and roads.
SES duty officer Andrew Murton told the ABC the gusty conditions had played havoc across the state....

There is a real chance of increasing cold with each vortex that passes through Australia. The temperature may fall and rise slightly after the vortex passes through, but, the next will bring the cold with it and the rising temperature will stop to become cold again. As the temperatures rise, if it doesn't return to a reasonable temperature, there is a danger in that.

One of the problems people have to face is the fact they will experience weather very differently. One of the dangers in winter lies when vacillating temperatures increase the cold incrementally. People may get used to cold and not be prepared for severe cold or exposure.

The image above is from 21 hours ago when the severe weather came in on Australia. There is another one to the west that will approach as well. The vortexes currently are at a maximum and carry vortex within a vortex. Sort of like tornadoes do.

Cold is unforgiving and no one should under estimate it.

Typhoon Nepartak crossed Taiwan causing deaths and incredible damage.

Typhoon Nepartak went from a tropical storm to a category typhoon in 48 hours.
July 9. 2016

A powerful typhoon (click here) lost power after slamming into Taiwan's eastern coast, bringing ferocious winds and torrential rains to the area.
It has killed two people and injuring 66 others.
Planes and fishing boats were grounded, while more than 15,000 people were evacuated.
Typhoon Nepartak made landfall in Taitung county before weakening to a medium-strength typhoon, the island's Central Weather Bureau reported....

The typhoon was so intense the air turned blue with water.

Super typhoon Nepartak (click here for blue air video) made landfall in Taiwan early Friday, about 15 kilometers south of the eastern city of Taitung, tearing roofs off buildings, flipping cars and dumping rain across the island.
So far, three deaths and 142 injuries have been reported by the Taiwan Central Emergency Operations Center after the typhoon packed winds of up to 240 kph (150 mph).
The storm hammered the eastern coast of Taiwan with torrential rain and wind for several hours prior to arrival, with photos on social media showing cars destroyed by the onslaught....

The killer cop said Philando Castile looked like someone wanted by police. That is an excuse and not a reason.

A woman and child was in that car!

You mean to tell me the killer cop never checked to see a man harassed by police? The killer cop decided Mr. Castile was too slick for cops and gave himself permission to carry out the death penalty?

    This is BAD POLICE WORK!

Killer cops believe 'the myths' and prejudice. Who did Sandra Bland look like?

Minneapolis — When Philando Castile (click here) saw the flashing lights in his rearview mirror the night he got shot, it wasn’t unusual. He had been pulled over at least 52 times in recent years in and around the Twin Cities and given citations for minor offenses including speeding, driving without a muffler and not wearing a seat belt.
He was assessed at least $6,588 in fines and fees, although more than half of the total 86 violations were dismissed, court records show.
Was Castile an especially bad driver or just unlucky? Or was he targeted by officers who single out black motorists like him for such stops, as several of his family members have alleged?
The answer may never be known, but Castile’s stop for a broken tail light Wednesday ended with him fatally shot by a suburban St. Paul police officer, and Castile’s girlfriend livestreaming the chilling aftermath....

The New York Times forgot a vital column to their discussion. UNIONS and their role in obstructing justice.

Police unions are in the background of police aggression and the continued ability of incompetent officers to patrol the streets.

The New York Times is better than this. This isn't the best journalism and they know it. No different than homelessness under Reagan and bringing justice to the incarcerated including the lack luster of the USA death penalty. The injustice of the USA legal systems begins at the street. Police officers are not suppose to be held to a standard that creates immunity to wrongful deaths.

Not all unions cause death among citizens.

...In all of the cases (click here) listed here, officers were placed on administrative leave or reassigned soon after the episodes. That is a routine step before an internal investigation and is not a form of discipline, said Christopher Dunn, the associate legal director at the New York Civil Liberties Union....

This article appeared in The New York Times last October. The New York Times is on the trail of finding the common denominator because it is the moral thing to do.

...As an economist (click here) who has studied racial discrimination, I’ve begun to look at these deaths from a different angle. There is ample statistical evidence of large and persistent racial bias in other areas — from labor markets to online retail markets. So I expected that police prejudice would be a major factor in accounting for the killings of African-Americans. But when I looked at the numbers, that’s not exactly what I found.

I’m not saying that the police in these specific cases are free of racial bias. I can’t answer that question. But what the data does suggest is that eliminating the biases of all police officers would do little to materially reduce the total number of African-American killings. Police bias may well be a significant problem, but in accounting for why some of these encounters turn into killings, it is swamped by other, bigger problems that plague our society, our economy and our criminal justice system....

The methodologies in all these deaths required police aggression. The officer was on the OFFENSE from the beginning of the interaction. We have all seen the videos of cops that stopped a pick up truck or high performance cars and are caught by surprise by the driver's agenda against them. That is tragic and it happens, but, the danger to police and citizen has crossed the line and causing repeated deaths.

The methodology in stopping cars due to minor auto violations has to be reworked. The police current methodology has too much exposure to death for police and citizen, it has to be called what it is, "Bad police work."

At this point there is no accurate criticism of this police methodology so the entire behavior has to end At some point in the future the reason for citizen deaths will be known beyond a reasonable doubt and the methodology of stopping cars in traffic will return, but, it simply needs to stop now to prevent the deaths of innocent lives.

I DO NOT BUY INTO THE IDEA SOME DEATHS WILL HAPPEN TO MAINTAIN A SAFE COUNTRY. THAT IDEOLOGY IS HIDEOUS IN THE FACE OF A DEMOCRACY.

THE PERMISSION OF COPS TO KILL AT WILL BECAUSE IT CREATES A SAFE COUNTRY IS HIGHLY DANGEROUS. I SUPPOSE IF COPS CONTINUE TO KILL ANY AND ALL PEOPLE AT WILL THERE WILL BE A MORE LAWFUL COUNTRY FOR THE SAME REASON THERE ARE IMPROVEMENTS IN BAGHDAD; DEAD PEOPLE DON'T CAUSE PROBLEMS.

DON'T FORGET, THE COPS ARE NOW CARRYING BOMBS IN THEIR METHODS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT. ISRAEL, AT LEAST, USE BULLDOZERS.

THE DEATH PENALTY IN THE USA IS CONDUCTED AT A PRISON. IT SHOULD NEVER BE TOLERATED ON THE AMERICAN STREETS.

WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THE POLICE METHODOLOGY THAT PROTECTS THE INNOCENT NO MATTER WHAT!

THIS IS BAD POLICE WORK. END OF DISCUSSION.
The political circus in the USA will be finding a new platform beginning on Monday, July 18th. There are insurgents in both major parties as the nominees will be established at their national conventions.

I'll put it this way; those that seek turning conventions into still yet another resurgence of issues already decided will find the sour grapes they exude will do the work for their continued and egotistic priorities.

Party members need to get behind the nominee. The primaries mattered to set the outcomes of the future, don't ruin it.

These are silly priorities by China in aspirations to be a global leader.

Recently the USA cruised through the Pacific to let the region know there is going to be respect for sovereign borders. That had nothing to do with this finding by the international tribunal at The Hague. The USA was respected for it's military presence, but, there was more than simple strong arm status; there was justice.

China needs to realize when it comes to being a global leader aggression is not bringing allies. Currently, countries in the Pacific value the USA's alliance because it protects sovereignty. Recognizing sovereignty and international rules is paramount to having allies.

Currently, China is imposing threats to near border countries. The result in that aggression is to drive allies to the USA. What if China protected other countries in the region? What if China supported vulnerabilities of these countries with protection and not aggression? Would the USA still have allies?

China is being foolish in imposing threats to near border countries. It is bad international policy for China. I am sure Chinese leaders can now see that folly and will resolve to be a strong ally in peace rather than the threat of nuclear holocaust.

The Hague's decision recognizes sovereign borders that even the USA has to respect. This decision is not exclusive to China. The decision sets precedent for all aggression. The USA can be a trusted ally while recognizing the Hague's decision. China's leadership needs to rise to the same trusted status the USA has achieved, it is China's neighborhood after all.

The Hague's ruling stops aggression by any other country. The decision sets the stage for stability in the region, isn't that what China wants, too?

Bejing — An international tribunal (click here) in The Hague delivered a sweeping rebuke on Tuesday of China’s behavior in the South China Sea, from the construction of artificial islands to interference with fishing, and ruled that its expansive claim to sovereignty over the waters had no legal basis.
The tribunal also said that Beijing had violated international law by causing “severe harm to the coral reef environment” and by failing to prevent Chinese fishermen from harvesting endangered sea turtles and other species “on a substantial scale.”
The landmark case, brought by the Philippines, was seen as an important crossroads in China’s rise as a global power. It is the first time the Chinese government has been summoned before the international justice system, and neighboring countries have hoped that the outcome will provide a model for negotiating with Beijing or for challenging its assertive tactics in the region....
