President Trump is decertifying the Iran Agreement illegally.

Trump actually thinks he has an imperial presidency. He doesn't. Also, in regard to his cabinet; they work for the American people. They serve at the pleasure of the people. They are not on puppet strings pulled by Trump. There are many checks and balances in this country within it's government power structure, the USA Cabinet is one of them. The EXECUTIVE BRANCH is not Trump's toy. It is a branch of the government that houses many departments created by law. They ultimately answer to the people and they better darn well remember that! Trump may have the power to pardon, but, that does not mean he or his cabinet can run roughshod over the USA Constitution.

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson (click here) recertified Iran's compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal late Monday, but senior administration officials emphasized that Tehran is a dangerous threat to both U.S. interests and Middle East stability.

Under U.S. law, the State Department is required to recertify to Congress Iran's compliance with the nuclear deal every 90 days. Despite President Trump's harsh criticism of the agreement forged under his predecessor, it is the second such certification since he took office....

I don't give a damn if the US Congress or President Trump doesn't like Iran and considers it a danger to PEACE in the Middle East, it does not give them the authority to decertify the Iran agreement without cause. There needs to be EVIDENCE to decertify and/or return sanctions under the nuclear agreement. Trump OR Congress cannot decertify on a whim or political idiocy.

On July 14, 2015, the P5+1 (click here) (China, France, Germany, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the United States), the European Union (EU), and Iran reached a Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to ensure that Iran’s nuclear program will be exclusively peaceful. October 18, 2015 marked Adoption Day of the JCPOA, the date on which the JCPOA came into effect and participants began taking steps necessary to implement their JCPOA commitments. January 16, 2016, marks Implementation Day of the JCPOA. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has verified that Iran has implemented its key nuclear-related measures described in the JCPOA, and the Secretary State has confirmed the IAEA’s verification. As a result of Iran verifiably meeting its nuclear commitments, the United States and the EU have lifted nuclear-related sanctions on Iran, as described in the JCPOA.

Below is not the agreement text, it is the report manidated by the JCPOA of the IAEA. This is the report every member of the "Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action" receives to insure Iran is in compliance.

IAEA and Iran - IAEA Reports (click here for the IAEA reports since the historic agreement)

A. Introduction (click here)

1. This report of the Director General to the Board of Governors and, in parallel, to the United Nations Security Council (Security Council), is on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s (Iran’s) implementation of its nuclear-related commitments under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and on matters related to verification and monitoring in Iran in light of Security Council resolution 2231 (2015). It also provides information on financial matters, and the Agency’s consultations and exchanges of information with the Joint Commission, established by the JCPOA.

That is the truth and if Trump decertifies outside of proper channels he is illegally in breach of the agreement.

Now the wackos in the country can chew on that cud until tomorrow. Jarod Kushner is not the messiah although he believes with the power of the USA he could be. The real messiah wouldn't need the USA.

JERKS!
Tropical Storm Nate is about to enter the Gulf of Mexico, prepare for the worst.

Later today I will be reviewing the Iran Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
