The petroleum industry finally proved all the scientists right, it split the North American craton.

I fully expect President Obama to begin to make noise about this and the brevity this earthquake carries in relation to the fracking industry. The fracking chemicals when placed in so called "storage holes of former drilling sites" don't become less active, they continue to destroy rock and cause seismic activity. The earthquake today with a epicenter of Pawnee, Oklahoma is the first time the North American craton has ever cracked in the history of the country or the entire history of Earth.

In the intensity and distance map to the right, (click here) the epicenter (Shawnee, Oklahoma) is the furthest dot to the left. The remainder of the dots is the DISTANCE and the intensity it was felt over two thousand kilometers away with a few at a distance of 7303.00 (4538.18 miles) kilometers and MAINTAINED an intesity of 1.9 mmi. The reason the distance was so far and the intensity maintained is because this quake cracked the North American craton. It finally happened.

How many times and over and over I stated, don't mess with the North American craton and fracking. I stated over and over, these chemicals do not become inert simply because a well is labeled a storage facility. The moronity of the petroleum industry is daunting and their immorality is abhorrent and loathsome.

THIS PRACTICE NEEDS TO END AND END NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!

To allow this abhorrent practice of wealth at the expense of the stability of a continent is disgusting and dangerous to the people that have lived without fear for their homes and their futures.

Pawnee, Okla. (CBS/AP) — A record-tying earthquake (click here) in the edge of Oklahoma’s key energy-producing areas rattled the Midwest from Nebraska to North Texas on Saturday, and likely will bring fresh attention to the practice of disposing oil and gas field wastewater deep underground.

The United States Geological Survey said a 5.6 magnitude earthquake happened at 7:02 a.m. Saturday in north-central Oklahoma, on the fringe of an area where regulators had stepped in to limit wastewater disposal. That temblor matches a November 2011 quake in the same region....

The reason there is a climate crisis, earthquakes in the USA where they never happened before, unpredictable weather, drought and flooding is because of one industry on Earth; the petroleum industry. I fully expect their influence will be curtailed and eliminated as a source of energy or transportation in the USA from here forward.

The reason the legislators in Washington, DC don't curtail the petroleum industry is because of corrupt politics. Just that simple.

End it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
