The State should consider stepping in to mitigate.
It is difficult for town to mitigate real danger without funds to hire professionals and construct plans that work.
The other aspect of this is the unaddressed climate crisis in the USA. Water is a huge issue and there is no real understanding about what to expect and infrastructure that works.
“Judicial warrants are too much of a burden.”
That is what federal Republicans are saying about the bill for funding for DHS.
They need to answer one question. Do they understand they are required to protect American lives?
