California has every right to stem any greenhouse gas emissions. (click here for Smithsonian Magazine assessment of cause)

The fire tornado in California is a completely new and extremely dangerous manifestation of the climate crisis.

This manifestation of a new spontaneous inferno destroyed every method of firefighting and placed citizens at risk. The fire funnel was 3 and one-half miles high into the troposphere. There were absolutely no conventional methods that were ready for this horror.

California is in trouble. This is very big trouble. The tornado carried fire so high into the troposphere he fell passing the fire breaks the firefighters worked so hard to build  It carried fire, blazing fire, so high into the troposphere there were now communities vulnerable never expected to be in the assessment and immediate and vast evacuations resulted. Below this entry is a YouTube video of a person that was deathly afraid he was never going to make it out of the fire zone. He obviously is short breath because the tornado is not simply moving air around as a regular tornado does, but, this fire tornado uses oxygen and leaves the area short of breathable oxygen.

I have linked to "Smithsonian Magazine" because it is popular and knows how to convey complicated concepts to laymen and laywomen. The professional assessments that will be printed in "peer reviewed journals" are yet to be written to perfection. This entire episode with the climate crisis must be meticulously documented. This is a new danger no one expected.

The drought in California (click here) that exists right now is not directly responsible for this fire tornado. California has seen far worse droughts than this. It was the atmospheric heat that caused the OPPORTUNITY for this fire tornado. This is the first time such a gigantic fire tornado reaching into the troposphere has occurred. It is a recent and historic event NO LEADER IN ANY COUNTRY SHOULD IGNORE.

Fires have started again in Spain. The USA dare not let down it's guard. It might happen again.

...Records were shattered (click here) in some places on Friday. The temperature at the University of California, Los Angeles, reached 111 on Friday, the hottest it has ever been there. Other record highs, according to the National Weather Service, were 114 at the Hollywood Burbank Airport, 117 at the Van Nuys Airport, 117 in Ramona and 114 in Santa Ana. In Riverside, a high temperature of 118 matched a record set in 1925.

It is the heat, the triple-digit heat that caused ignition. Air conditioners cooling inside air is not going to prevent this. People have to be aware of their circumstances. This is a tornado and we don't know if tornado sirens work. The heat will probably melt the sirens before they have a chance to sound. There is no adequate public safety policy to cover this emergency. California's legislature has to fund the research to find a strong public safety policy.

Dr. Chris Fields is California's best bet in leading a team to solve this mystery and develop a public policy that will begin to address this emergency. It is the climate. It can't be contained in a neat little definition for people to follow. The greenhouse gases HAVE TO COME DOWN. NO DEREGULATION IS PUBLIC POLICY NOW.

I am quite used to being interrupted no matter where I am or what I am doing in my life when such statements are made by a person, today it is Trump, that doesn't care to understand this is an emergency the country has no answer for in a new manifestation of the climate crisis. I've been acting in protection of Americans even when dressed in a ball gown and heels waiting for the sound of midnight of a new year to strike. People like Trump look for opportunities when they think no one is watching or listening. Don't think for one minute this fire tornado didn't spawn Trump's renewed war against California today. This and sanctuary cities are too much for the "mean temper of Trump."

The USA MUST address the climate crisis. The US Congress should be in emergency session right now and not be announcing they don't give a damn through a moronic president.

AMERICANS ARE DYING OUT HERE!

Government rabbit holes and bunkers won't protect anyone when the oxygen is being used as fuel.

I think the USA needs election poll sitters.

Not necessarily to remove the security Facebook already has or believes it needs, but, the country needs an agent at every social media cite to monitor daily discoveries.

It could be FBI, CIA or military intelligence, but, a member of the government, paid by the government to assist social media sites during elections. The way the USA elections go now, it would be year round. I realize this is an intrusion into the private sector, but, the agent would play a role other than that of an employee. Sort of similar to that of the UN election monitors, but, with the ability to immediately take information and reports to begin an investigation right at the time the hacking and/or fake sites were reported. An agent could pick up trends.

It seems a shame to me that social media now have to be police to ruthless communists. I think that is probably a drag on their creativity. If there was an agent within the structure where all this mess takes place, it could be a real asset to the business and end this interference once and for all. If the criminals are caught at the time they are deploying their nonsense, it would end it. There could be a trial run to be sure it makes a difference.

When Facebook revealed on Tuesday (click here) that it had identified a political influence campaign ahead of the November midterm elections, the company’s chief security officer, Alex Stamos, was front-and-center in speaking on the issue.

But Mr. Stamos will exit the social network this month, just as Facebook steps up its efforts to combat misinformation and foreign interference. In an interview, Mr. Stamos, 39, said he planned to join Stanford University in September as an adjunct professor and will also become part of a faculty working group called Information Warfare where he will examine the role of security and technology in society.

The timing is tricky as Facebook grapples with potential threats including election meddling and hackers. The New York Times reported in Marchthat Mr. Stamos planned to leave Facebook in August and that his day-to-day responsibilities were reassigned to others last December, but the Silicon Valley company does not plan to appoint a successor for chief security officer....
