The siege in Philadelphia ended at midnight. Eventually, he was going to run out of ammunition.

...CBS Philadelphia (click here) says the suspect's lawyer told the station the suspect is 36-year-old Maurice Hill, though police haven't released his name. The alleged gunman surrendered shortly after midnight. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Richard Ross told reporters it was teargas that got the suspect to give up.

Attorney Shaka Johnson said Hill called him to the scene of the standoff while he was barricaded inside. "Maurice called me in a panic, obviously," Johnson told CBS Philadelphia. "He did not want this to end violently and he really was sort of taking an opportunity to speak his peace. I told him, 'You gotta surrender, man."'...

The suspect had been live streaming. He has an extensive record with the police and has been charged with assault and gun-related charges innumerable times. His attack on police should have been no surprise. They survived the onslaught and it was probably because they were prepared for it. I am sure they were wearing more than just uniforms.

Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against Israel is bigger than two US Congresswomen.

Netanyahu needs five Knesset seats to avoid prosecution. This is the game he and Trump play now. It is a political game.

BDS condemns antisemitic, fascist forces in Germany and worldwide (click here)

BDS is not about hatred,, it is about humanity and equality. Trump's rantings are homophobic based in hate. This move by Netanyahu is desperation and it alone brings pressure on Israel to stop it's expansionism and seek peace.

The BDS movement for Palestinian rights condemns in the strongest terms the rising racist and fascist groups in Germany and across Europe. Our nonviolent movement opposes all forms of racism and racial discrimination, including antisemitism and Islamophobia, as a matter of principle.

The Israeli government’s popularity is sharply decreasing as a result of its overt alliances with the global far-right, including xenophobic and antisemitic groups in the United States and Europe. In a desperate attempt to counter this trend, Israel and its lobby groups are desperately promoting a fraudulent definition of antisemitism that undermines the peaceful struggle for Palestinian rights, including BDS....

Netanyahu is doing everything he can to ride the tide of fear into the next election so he can avoid prosecution, including attacks into Iraq.

Ilan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are objects for the battle for political power by Trump and Netanyahu. They are denied human dignity and their rights by these two men.

Pelosi keeps the dog tags of Israeli soldiers as a 'symbol of the sacrifices made, sacrifices far too great by the people of the state of Israel' (click here)

None of the problems in and with Israel is black and white. The dream of a Palestinian homeland does not mean there is no Israel, quite the contrary. Standing up for a two state solution means both nations of people are strong and allied with each other. It is a road to peace for Israel.
