USS Honolulu. Big Fish. Kindly note the horizon. That 'pink' color is artificial. It's due to pollution that finds it's way to the North Polar Air Mass Circulation. The clouds are extremely dense and hold heat next to the ice. Date of this picture is not known.

Up Periscope!! The Polar Bear is looking for food and not it's reflection. I promise you that. Those are the crosshairs of the periscope when the submarine first arrived to investigate the area. I am confident this Los Angeles Class Submarine had no intention to hurt any Polar Bears. Polar Bears are marine mammals. They are protected by The Marine Mammal Protection Act. A very, very important document. A document Gail Norton would like to destroy. PROTECT THE BEARS !!

Nonspecific date. Healthy, curious and fearless Polar Bear.

The date these pictures were actually taken is unknown. This is the USS Honolulu 280 miles from the North Pole. It broke through what looks to be fairly thin ice. The Polar Bears probably thought they were going to catch a whale. Their body weight in this picture and I say again, I don't know the date of this picture, looks pretty good.
