Get the lousy things out of the Gulf of Mexico. Haven't done enough damage? Haven't they?

Louisiana is PATHETIC.  (click title to entry for video - thank you)

Louisiana needs to have all oil and gas drilling permits recalled.  They should NOT be allowed to conduct these operations off their coast, they endanger the countries fisheries and the Gulf Coast.

Maybe, just maybe there should be NO rigs in the Gulf of Mexico anywhere near the USA.

NONE !

Because when one looks through the National Marine Fisheries Insitutie data there are ABSOLUTELY no stuides on the effects of toxic oil sluge on USA fisheries along the Gulf Coast.

NONEA !

What are those lousy things doing in our waters without the people of the USA even considered to be important enough to conduct toxicology studies BEFORE events that POISON us happen?

GET THEM OUT OF THE USA WATERS !

NOW !

The Coast Guard has (click title to entry - thank you) established a 1,000 yard security zone around the platform. There is also a temporary flight restriction 5 nautical miles around the platform and up to 5,000 feet, according to a Coast Guard news release.
After it received the report, the Coast Guard launched the following air and sea rescue vessels:
  • MH-65C helicopter and crew from Air Station, New Orleans
  • MH-65C helicopter and crew from Air Station, Houston, Texas
  • HC-144 Ocean Sentry and crew from Aviation Training Center, Mobile, Alabama
  • Coast Guard Cutter Sturgeon, an 87-foot protector class patrol boat homeported in Grand Isle, Louisiana.
