This is a study by the Kaiser Foundation. Kaiser is usually accepted as an important source for such information. These statistics are based on 2013 information. The Affordable Care Act didn't go into full enforcement until 2014. I sincerely doubt there are reliable statistics for 2014 otherwise it would be here. (click here)
There is no doubt the Republicans have estimates about health care insurance coverage, but, they are going to be skewed no matter when their statistics take place because their governors refused the extended Medicaid.
It is difficult to believe governors would actually be proud of those uninsured. That is just strange. This was their political strategy, to brag about the number of uninsured Americans? Really? Like, no clue.
