The Indian American community in Raleigh, North Carolina dedicated a statue to Gandhi.

One man with a dream... (click here)
To fight war without bloodshed..
To have peace in world..

It is in Exploris' courtyard at the museum. I thought the reading of Gandhi in relation to hunger was more than interesting. I am sure the Indian Americans of Raleigh would not mind the Moral Monday Movement to recognize the greatness of this man: “There are people in the world so hungry, that God cannot appear to them except in the form of bread.”
― Mahatma Gandhi

The Moral Monday Movement is in excellent company in North Carolina.
