So, you probably believe our Sun is the center of every aspect of existence. You are wrong.

This is the Milky Way Galaxy viewed from Earth. 

The Sun is within the Milky Way, but, not at its center. The Sun actually rotates through its own orbit within the Galaxy. 

Our solar system (click title to entry - thank you) is at the edge of a spiral arm called the Orion Arm, and is about two-thirds of the way from the center of our galaxy to the edge of the starlight. The Earth is the third planet from the sun in our solar system of nine planets.
