Oh, the family farm community speculation about the Tri-lateral Commission? That was the 1970s. It was when the US Department of Agriculture put out an annual year book about the farming community. It was a beautiful coffee table book.

The US farming community found itself undone by corporate agriculture. If it weren't for the GMO movement, the American people would have lost it's family farms forever.

Think Monsanto.

It is real. It was real when the family farm community was laughed at as conspiracy theorists. Think about it. We are a great people, make no mistake about that. It is time we acted like it rather than a puppet to Wall Street.
Senator Dan Coates is imagineering the problems with the Iran agreement.

"What if this agreement was conducted during the George W. Bush administration. The agreement would have expired already."

Then:

He states Henry Kissinger, age 97 years, expressed concern for non-state actors.

Non-state actors? Like Osama bin Laden living within the military university complex in Pakistan? Those non-state actors.

Hm. If al Qaeda hadn't obtained control of nuclear capacity already, there is no chance that is going to happen. Al Qaeda would have to control nuclear missile sites as well as centrifuges, etc. to be a threat. Dan Coates actually sees that happening in the Iran agreement? That is a joke and an insult to the American people.

If there were ever any non-state actors with nuclear capacity it would be detected. Which brings the issue to ambassadors and embassies in all countries by the USA. There should be productive relationships with countries around the world to enhance a far better outcome to economic security as well as a country's national security.

I remind, there was absolutely no movement by George Walker Bush to capture bin Laden. None. He was looking in the mountains for a decade without finding him. But, never once sought to expand his understanding of where bin Laden was living to end the al Qaeda leader. Bin Laden was within reach of a military institution in Pakistan and never once did George Walker Bush find him a threat enough to end his prowess of terrorist attacks. Now, the American people are suppose to believe Iran is going to be a threat because of non-state actors. Given the history of the Republican presidents they might have a point. It actually does depend on the President in the Oval Office to secure the USA.

Senator Pat Roberts is stating the USA should have a treaty. So where is it? There is absolutely nothing stopping Pat Roberts from negotiating a treaty with Iran. Not a thing.

The only treaties the Republicans know how to write are treaties like TPP or the TIPP.

In his book, Confessions of an Economic Hit Man, (click here) John Perkins pulls back the curtain to reveal how exactly the globalization machinery works. The signing of the TTIP and TPP treaties create the framework for a one world government....

I could get into a lot of speculation about this mess, but, the facts cannot be disputed. For decades American family farmers were scared to death of the "Trilateral Commission" (click here) because of it's POTENTIAL to develop a one world government. Those that see the idea conspiracy theories as childishness always called such accusations as silliness and lack of sophistication.

Today the Republican majority has given the President permission to give away the American economy to other countries. So much for conspiracy theorists and their silliness.

Membership in the Trilateral Commission is by invitation only. (click here)

It is not an international organization based in democracy. Every President of the USA have been members.

The point is today in 2015 we are looking at treaties drawn up that is to benefit Wall Street by dismantling the American economy from local control and independent of foreign trade of that is what the people want. There are provisions in the TPP that requires commodities from the partnership be sold in the USA regardless of what the people want. The TPP removes democracy to benefit Wall Street. That is simply a fact. So, was the agricultural community correct to the outcome of decades of stating conspiracy theory? It sure as heck looks like it.

When it comes to treaties the Republicans only see THEIR world through Rose Colored Wall Street glasses that line the pockets of cronies, including the banks of 2008. As far as treaties that actually work to make the world safer? Why? Why do that, when the USA military has a huge shadow over the entire world? The Republicans don't have to understand international treaties for peace and the end of a nuclear threat to the world. As a matter of fact they embrace the idea of 'break out' nuclear capacity of other countries, it provides for their fear mongering. For decades we have heard the Republicans war monger to only see the USA military larger than than all first world nations and China and Russia combined. Along with that military size is just as interesting a budget and wasteful spending such as the F35.

The F35 has had more than a trillion dollars spent on it with no end in sight. The bird doesn't fly without problems.

The Republicans only speak to fear and the 'idea' all people can find wealth in just being an American. Neither are realistic.

It would be really helpful if the USA had an embassy again in Iran. It would provide the USA a way of receiving increased international trade with Iran. It would return function and less fear to the international theater.

The reason there was a failure of the American mission in Iran is because people like Henry Kissinger backed the lies and deceptions of nuclear power by the USA to Iran. The American mission in Iran failed because the USA backed a leader that never provided for the well being of Iran's people. It is up to the USA to begin to find it's way back to being an economic partner with Iran. Will it ever happen again? We have to try.

It is too easy to be the world's largest and most dangerous military. It is a reputation we cannot afford and it only provides barriers to peace.

This agreement within the authority of the P5+1 is a beginning, not an end. It would be wrong to refuse the opportunity to define a relationship with Iran. We have to walk back the "Axis of Evil" speech. We have to earn trust again with Iran. Iran finds itself at the center of protections to the Shia. We need to do better in our relationships other than run game into countries like Iraq. The USA was wrong. We need to recapture the dignity taken from us.
The reason Republicans need 11 debates is because they lie a lot and have to fine tune the lies that win in primaries. The lies then become the truth for the national campaigns for office.

Is there actually something about the Iran agreement that places any middle east countries in direct line of fire to nuclear weapons? No, so why the campaign of the Tea Party at the Capital Building?

The Kochs need the Tea Party success to continue their carbon and methane pollution. So, the lies really have to work for them, otherwise, there goes the funding.

Is there any wonder why Donald Trump is a legitimate candidate for the Tea Party? His only agenda is the one reflected by the party for the nomination.

I think the Democratic debate schedule is fine. I am quite sure there is network interest in additional debates if the nominee isn't evident.

A total of six debates are scheduled, (click here) with six different sponsors: Oct. 13 in Nevada (hosted by CNN); Nov. 14 in Des Moines, Iowa (CBS/KCCI and The Des Moines Register); Dec. 19 in Manchester, New Hampshire (ABC/WMUR); Jan. 17 in Charleston, South Carolina (NBC/Congressional Black Caucus Institute); and two scheduled for either February or March in Miami, Florida, and Wisconsin, hosted by Univision/The Washington Post and PBS, respectively. The DNC said it would release additional details about debate dates, locations and partnerships soon.

The lineup itself does not come as a surprise for Democrats, but for the candidates who wanted more debates to come sooner, the fact that only four will occur before the Iowa caucuses in February is a disappointment....

Below are the Republican debates. I think it is smart for DNC leadership to set a limited number of debates. The DNC should have a few dates in their back pocket should the need for more clarity be necessary. I see no reason to be a Republican Wannabe party.

The ideology a debate will bring about the sincere candidate isn't where the focus should be. The candidates have to be canvasing the people. I would think the successful campaign of Senator Sanders definitively states where the people like to be in politics. Local and relating. There is nothing like face time.

Is there really something important about debates one week apart? I don't think so. Television has too much power over elections anyway. "The Billionaire Sponsorship" is a defeat of the USA democracy. The power of The Billionaire is based in television commercials. Why invest in ruinous behavior?

The televised debate is a way of seeing a candidate in a measurable method to compare success. It is important, but, should never be the focus of ultimate success.

It makes sense television is where the RNC focuses it's campaigning. It is vital to the Republican Billionaire sponsored candidate. It is ridiculous and removes dignity from the candidate. Why have the electorate hide away in their man caves to decide a president? What is so special 'picture within a picture?'

There are other ways of demanding new leadership in the DNC.

She is having fun. I'll be darn. She can party.

I look forward to seeing Charlotte. Hillary Clinton has a right to talk about and bring her granddaughter to the public without being called an opportunistic candidate. Maybe we'll be seeing the Grandma and Charlotte by the convention. The Clinton's were protective of Chelsey in her young years, but, we did get to see her.

The Justice Department (click here) is renewing its efforts to charge individuals in corporate investigations, seeking to address long-running criticism, particularly from Democrats, that they treat executive wrongdoing lightly.
In the latest push, Justice Department officials issued a memo Wednesday to prosecutors outlining best practices and recommending that they only consider a company to have cooperated in an investigation if that company turns over information about the actions of individuals at the firm.
Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates plans to give a speech Thursday in New York detailing the new effort and the reasoning behind it....

The shootings (click here) along a busy stretch of Interstate 10 in Phoenix started August 29, when a bullet from out of nowhere struck an SUV, shattering glass which injured 13-year old girl riding in it. On that same day, along the same stretch of road, someone fired at a bus, fortunately empty except for the driver, who was not injured.
But bullet holes were found in some of the seats of the bus. That night, about 10, yet another car was hit, again, with no injuries.

There is a real discusion about human development.

September 10, 2015
By Amy Ellis Nutt

A new species of human relative, (click here) called Homo naledi, has been discovered deep in a cave in South Africa, it was announced Thursday morning at a press conference in Johannesburg. Three men who led the expedition took part in a Q & A with the National Geographic Society about how the fossils were found, their excavation and their two-year analysis by teams of international experts as to their place in human evolution. Below is a selection of those questions and answers from Lee Berger, an archaeologist and the leader of the expedition, John Hawks, an anthropologist and Paul Dirks, a geologist:...

1. What happens if H. naledi is very old? Or very young?

That ain't no monkey. The question is how far back does human intelligence go. The discovery of ART is an expression of intelligence, status and memory. There is more and more information about a society in South Africa that lends itself to understanding 'the human.' The archaeologic find of art within a cave reflects the early human was sophisticated. It has long been believed 'the human' had a different development than the Neanderthal.

The remains of an early human and the art were both found in caves.

Striking prehistoric rock art created up to 5,000 years ago (click here) has been discovered at almost 100 sites in Somaliland on the Gulf of Aden in eastern Africa.
A local team headed by Dr Sada Mire, of the Institute of Archaeology at University College London (UCL), made the finds, which include a man on horseback, painted around 4,000 years ago – one of the earliest known depictions of a mounted hunter.
Leaping antelopes, prancing giraffes and snakes poised to strike are among animals and reptiles depicted with astonishing clarity.
Such is the quality of the paintings that at least 10 sites, scattered across semi-desert terrain, are likely to be given World Heritage status....

You've got to be joking.

A female Republican pundit is calling Bush's spouse "Spanish speaking" as if she were Caucasian.

Amazing.

Republicans will do anything to draw in the extremists. Absolutely amazing. That is dehumanizing her.

There is a controversy behind her. She is in the USA due to her father coming here under an Undocumented status. He was granted amnesty, if this information is correcct.

A world-renowned Ohio State University (OSU) (click here) who had access to restricted defense information as part of his work with NASA is under investigation by the FBI for failing to disclose his ongoing connections to Chinese scientists, The Columbus Dispatch has reported.
Professor Rongxing Li, 56, unexpectedly resigned from his position in the OSU Department of Civil, Environmental and Geodetic Engineering in February 2014.
Li told OSU that he was going back to China to take care of his sick mother, and no one has heard from him since....

I'd start by asking China what can be done to help his mother.

I am of the opinion there simply isn't secure information where computers are concerned. Who is to say the information allegedly shared with China wasn't stolen by Chinese hackers. The cyber security of the USA has been abysmal. It is the case because there is a lie chronically part of any conversation that computerized information is secure. That lie has to be propagated by commercial companies seeking the respect of people that pay them for internet access. Besides the money for paying for service there is the "Terms of Service" that sells every aspect of their private life for profit.

So, if there is some kind of idea thumb drives and CDs are secure is pure nonsense. With that aside and with the USA concerned for his well being; what is left is to ask the Chinese government if his mother had needs his government can help with.

Corker has a peroccupation with dismemberment.

Senator Corker is now in the US Senate stating Iranian bombs have caused the 'dismemberment' of American soldiers in Iraq. He states that every time an American citizens sees a disabled veteran with crutches that was Iran.

Senator Corker stated the USA was not involved in any binding agreement and that President Obama was negotiating a non-binding political agreement. That was true before July 15, 2015. The non-binding agreement previous to July 15, 2015 was the authority of the Executive Branch to carry out the negotiations by the USA. But, as if July 15, 2015 a binding UN Resolution was drafted. (click here)

All the fancy talking by Corker is his own idea of fun on the US Senate floor. It can be said he doesn't know what he is talking about. There is a UN Resolution that will pass the UN Security Council that is binding. It is no longer a non-binding political agreement.

The July 15th agreement is the draft of what is to become the UN Resolution. Corker is inflammatory and not much else. It is up to the Congress to pass legislation to reject the UN Resolution.

Senator McCain is fussing about the  'side deal' between the IAEA and Iran. It is about a conventional weapons facility called Parchin military complex. It was never a nuclear site.

In the November 2011 IAEA Safeguards report on Iran, (click here) the IAEA disclosed that information from member states indicated that Iran constructed a large explosives containment vessel or chamber at the Parchin military complex in 2000 to conduct high explosive and hydrodynamic experiments related to the development of nuclear weapons....

The Parchin facility conducts research related to the rockets and propellant to deliver warheads in a conflict. The reason this site came into focus is because the research at the site can lead to a rocket to deliver nuclear warheads. As of 2011 there was no nuclear material at the Pachin site. That is why the IAEA is satisfied with testing methods that will detect radioactivity with such measures as closed circuit cameras. All the IAEA and the P5+1 needs to know is if there is now nuclear material in the facility.

If one recalls the IAEA applies different levels of monitoring across the globe. The reason the IAEA knew about the North Korean return to nuclear capacity is because "THE SEALS" were removed. Those seals had been in place for a very long time, however, the "Axis of Evil" speech returned North Korea to nuclear weapon research and testing. The closed circuit cameras work 24/7 as a means of monitoring the North Korea site. This is the type of surveillance that will be applied the Parchin site in Iran.

If one recalls the UN Inspectors were validating there was no breach in protocols in Iraq. The inspectors were coming up with minimal infractions in the UN Resolutions that brought the USA to the UN. The infraction that stood out was the scud missiles that could travel a minimal distance past Iraq's borders. In that was a breach and the missiles were dismantled and buried in the desert. In the case of any munitions or components to WMD the UN had every storage facility fitted with seals. Seals are a legitimate method to validate compliance with UN resolutions. When the USA invaded Iraq the soldiers removed the UN seals to inspect the contents of the buildings and there was no disruption of any stores inside and therefore Iraq was in compliance with UN sanctions.'

In the opinion of George Bush, the commander and chief at the time, that was not a reason to turn back from the invasion and make war reparations to Iraq. The invasion and deaths continued.

At some point in time the USA has to trust some agency to care about it's security. The point where real potential of nuclear danger exists in Iran is inspected according to the most stringent methods and are not part of the side agreements.

If one recalls the IAEA in Iraq had limited QUALIFIED personnel. At the point where the USA invaded Iraq it would have required another six months to finish the nuclear inspections in Iraq due to limited qualified personnel. In retrospect six months would have been a far better investment than the war that profoundly disrupted the Middle East.

The IAEA also carries out inspections in nuclear energy plants in countries without nuclear weapon capacity or interest as in the video below . The reason the IAEA carries out these inspections is because loose nuclear material is a problem.

The USA is one country among many countries. That matters. We have to value cooperation and not risk again the alienation of allies. The idea the USA has a group of very powerful and influential countries as partners in this agreement cannot be disregarded.

The USA under President Obama has provided the best reassurance to Israel possible in allowing a historic sale of military hardware and capacity and interceptors. Israel is as safe as any country and more so compared to others.

This is a great agreement, will be validated through the UN Security Council and will bring assurance to Iran's Non-Proliferation status. For those that complain for political fodder there is no validity.

Below is a video of an inspection of the IAEA.

A sand storm has traversed across the entire Middle East.

An intense (click here) and deadly sandstorm sweeping the Middle East is so large, it can be seen from space.

NASA on Tuesday shared an image of the swirling dust and sand, which has reduced visibility and caused health hazards in parts of Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Cyprus and Iraq. At least eight people have been killed, and hundreds have experienced respiratory problems, AFP reported.
The air is so dense, and visibility so low, it's even disrupted the fighting in war-torn Syria.

JEDDAH: A massive sandstorm (click here) that enveloped much of the Middle East on Tuesday sent Jeddah into total darkness at 6 p.m.
The storm lasted for 40 minutes with sand-laden winds so ferocious that one could hear the rattling of windows in many neighborhoods.
Abdul Hameed Abal-Ari, a senior official at King Abdul Aziz International Airport in Jeddah, told local media that flights were suspended briefly. “Incoming flights were diverted to nearby airports, while some departures were suspended.”
He said seven flights were diverted to Madinah, Yanbu and Taif. “By 7 p.m., things were back to normal,” he said.
“It all happened in a matter of minutes,” said Sadiya Haneef, a resident of Al-Sulaimaniya district. “I could see from my balcony a mushroom-like apparition on the horizon. I thought it was smoke billowing from a faraway district,” she said.
Soon it was clear to her that it was a sandstorm. “I had to literally struggle to close the door to my balcony. The gusty winds had sent everything into darkness,” she said....

Cancer. Planned Parenthood is preventing deaths of American women due to cancer.

August 3, 2015
By Lauren Carroll

The vast majority of Planned Parenthood’s (click here) work goes toward mammograms and preventive care, said former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley.
Since an anti-abortion group released videos Planned Parenthood officials talking about aborted fetal parts, Republicans have pushed to take away federal funding from the women’s health organization. Democratic presidential candidates, on the other hand, are showing their support, if subdued.
O’Malley said he hadn’t seen the videos, speaking to reporters in New Hampshire July 26.
"And I don't generally make a habit of responding to right-wing videos," O'Malley said, according to Washington Post’s Dave Weigel. "I do know that 97 percent of the work that Planned Parenthood does is about mammograms and preventative health. So that's what I know, but I'll defer to others for commenting on that video and whatever videos they're pumping out there."...

I have to wonder if the federally ordered chastity belts would be covered by US government funding?

It is the only way there is equity applied across the entire spectrum of women across the states. And considering there would have to be inspection for compliance there is funding needed for such inspections.

And what is really troubling to me that atheists have children and I wonder if this will include all girls under the age of 18 as well as adult women.

The upside of federally mandated chastity belts will remove anyone coveting our girls as virgins. It just would remove any attempt by a man to satisfy his sick sense of reward. It would prevent wars.

I refuse to allow the current House hearing on abortion to pass without sincerely applying all the words of the committee to the lives of women. This is more than defunding Planned Parenthood while Rep. David Cicilline wants to limit the hearing to legitimate reasons; this is about policing of women in order to drive the entire practice out of the USA with complete crass and disregard for the health of women. These hearings are used for the purpose of right wing politics. The American people are paying for these hearings today, including the women that have to travel to Congress to protect the health of women. This is gross malpractice by the US Congress.

The hearings today completely reveals the fact there is movement to ending the practice of abortion regardless of how it impacts the health of women. We know that is a fact because the compromise is already being practiced in state governments.

The federal Supreme Court has already ruled that clinics are to be available to women. This hearing completely ignores the fact there is a law of the land. It also ignores the value of 'excellence' in women's health care.

Nowhere in these hearings is their a core belief a woman's health is valuable to this country. That is a crime alone and then add to it the fact women cannot make decisions that effect their lives places women on a priority far below the level of legal competence. Women are competent to make their own decisions, that includes the women in the health care network that find legitimate funds to continue the practice of women's health care while the federal government continues to fail them.

These hearings are moronic and have no place in the practice of good governance. There is a legitimate movement to criminalize abortion. Women should have the right to abortion at any time in her life she and her doctor find it necessary.
US Senator Corker seems to believe every abortion needs due process. Oh, Wow, Planned Parenthood is funded by the Chinese. And Senator Corker doesn't need an investigation to prove it.

He equates the Chinese harvesting of organs from criminals on their way to the death chamber and the abortions in the USA.

So, there it is, women are to be given the death sentence for having an abortion or even thinking about it.

There are hideous people in the US Senate and Corker is one of them.

Of course the movement beyond the ideology by Corker is one that women are loose with their morals when becoming pregnant. And of course becoming pregnant means having sex with a man.

I am kind of curious as to a difference between married women having sex with men and unmarried women having sex with men.

I am also curious if there is a difference between atheist women having sex with men and orthodox Christians having sex with men.

See, it would seem as though God is in the due process of pregnant women, so where there is a difference in religious beliefs between women having sex with men in the USA, does "the God standard" hold up?

I have a better idea. I strongly suggest, to insure the freedom of women having sex with men, there be a law requiring a chastity belt at birth that is changed as often as the girth of these women change. At least with a chastity belt women will still have the right of upward movement out of poverty as soon as child care costs less than her anticipated wages.

The real beauty to this readily available product is that it eliminates vaginal rape and incest.

I wonder if it's made in China. Maybe instead of a second VW factory in Tennessee, Corker can induce the manufacturing of the item to the USA. There would be jobs at least even if employees don't have women's health insurance.

What is the difference between Miley Cyrus and Dick Cheney?

Answer: Miley Cyrus doesn't hate anyone.

The first program of The Rachel Maddow Show (click here) was on September 8, 2008. Just before the 2008 elections at a time when the global economic collapse was becoming very real.

Congratulations. At least another seven years would be great.
New York Military Academy, (click here) established in 1889 in Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York, is a college preparatory school for day and boarding students in grades 8 through 12.  NYMA is dedicated to a comprehensive and substantive process of developing young leaders who are "Inspired, Engaged, and Ready" for success and fulfillment in college and in life....

I know something about NYMA. My son attended there and graduated from the school. He absolutely loved it there. I could go on and brag about how great he is and the school is, but, I won't. I will speak to the military aspect of the school, however. My son is a great guy by the way. He is a wonderful and devoted family man. He and his wife are successful folks.

By Michael Barbaro

Donald J. Trump, (click here) who received draft deferments through much of the Vietnam War, told the author of a forthcoming biography that he nevertheless “always felt that I was in the military” because of his education at a military-themed boarding school.

Mr. Trump said that his experience at the New York Military Academy, an expensive prep school where his parents had sent him to correct poor behavior, gave him “more training militarily than a lot of the guys that go into the military.”...

But, New York Military Academy is a legitimate part of the military and considered Junior ROTC. That is a real entity of the military. As a matter of fact back in the day young men could have been drafted to serve, although that would never happen today.

The curriculum at the school is US Army. They learn all sorts of survival skills like orienteering. They spend time at West Point in the summer for officer training.

If Donald Trump wanted to enter the US Army, not West Point, he could and he would enter as an E5. At least I think that is what occurs. He would receive higher rank and enter at a higher pay scale for having graduated from NYMA. So, the experience at the academy is real, but, it is not about war, it is about the theory of war. And there are classes on historic battles and how generals make decisions and of course the superintendent of the school is retired military with a higher rank. A good number of the teaching staff are retired military, so it sort of is like Junior West Point. It is a good education and landed my son a scholarship to law school.

So, I think it is important people know the reference to NYMA is a legitimate statement and not some off the cuff rich kid statement. The young people there work hard for their grades. They participate in sports; my son was in wrestling for his high years. He won regularly in school competitions. And they have a fantastic social life where they learn how to be a part of a social environment. That behavior is a method of grooming them for their adult life. My son is a very charming man. He has a lovely wife and he can do no wrong. They love each other dearly. But, his charisma opens doors for him as does his practice of the truth and honoring laws also has contributed to his career success.

NYMA is a great school with great people and they turn out great people. I am glad to hear Donald Trump considers the school with pride. He should.

Basically, the young people I came to know during my son's high school years have gone on to be incredibly wonderful people. There is nearly every state in the union represented at the school and something like 30 some countries. It is an incredible place.

To also note is the social life includes places in New York City with a train ride from near the school. They had a good time. But, they never got in trouble. I do mean never. They went into the city with a group of about 14 or 15 peers and never had trouble, but, they weren't looking for it either. If I could ever make a wish for young people in the USA it would be to have the experience my son had during his high school years. It was a charmed life. He knew he was loved by his parents. His friends would visit to my home on weekends regularly. They were always at his birthday party. I loved them all dearly.

But, I digress.

Social embarassment will intimidate the LGBTQ community to behave better.

The release of Kim Davis is not a surprise. She was due in front of the court today. You know, after the holiday.

Huckabee is just grandstanding. He knows there is no judge on any bench that will accept another person for jail time of another person.

There is no politics with the judge. He is carrying out the law as boring as that might be for most of the country.

I think what Huckabee needs is a witch hunt. You know, burning at the town square. Just like the good old days.

Now, you'll excuse me but the religious attitudes of the political right wing toward people of the same gender is very poor. The issue is love. It isn't about any real legal dilemma, it is love. The extremist views by Huckabee and his propaganda of hate is exactly the same as the witch trials.

The witch trials needed a scapegoat to maintain power. And believe it or not this happened on the very soil where the thirteen colonies declared their independence. Albeit, a century or two later, but, it is the same type of nasty power struggle where people were actually dead after the religious politics played out. The USA, even today, has it's shame in realizing hate crimes occurred taking the lives of the innocent. Matthew Shepard (click here) is never far from the minds of most when confronting this continued hate mongering of the LGBTQ community.

What the former governor of Arkansas did today is hate mongering. It has to stop. The courts have ruled on all the attempts by the political right wing of the USA trying to substitute church doctrine for the USA Constitution. If one really wants to analyze this mess it is actually treason. Substituting religious doctrine for the US Constitution regardless the exercise is treasonous. But, for the sake of civility no one calls it that, except for me.

Ms. Davis can be blessed by her religion all day long in her private space in her work place by having a Bible on her desk. But, when it comes to doing the business of the people she needs to do her job or find herself in jail yet again. After a few times of being jailed she can actually face prison and maybe that is what Huckabee is waiting for, it would bring in the donations wouldn't it?

The infamous Salem witch trials (click here) began during the spring of 1692, after a group of young girls in Salem Village, Massachusetts, claimed to be possessed by the devil and accused several local women of witchcraft. As a wave of hysteria spread throughout colonial Massachusetts, a special court convened in Salem to hear the cases; the first convicted witch, Bridget Bishop, was hanged that June. Eighteen others followed Bishop to Salem’s Gallows Hill, while some 150 more men, women and children were accused over the next several months. By September 1692, the hysteria had begun to abate and public opinion turned against the trials. Though the Massachusetts General Court later annulled guilty verdicts against accused witches and granted indemnities to their families, bitterness lingered in the community, and the painful legacy of the Salem witch trials would endure for centuries.

Migrating into Europe is probably not the best idea for them. It is a huge cultural shift they aren't ready for and neither are the sponsoring countries.

BERLIN (AP) " The latest news as countries (click here) across Europe cope with the arrival of thousands of migrants and refugees. All times local (CET):

2:30 p.m.

Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann says countries opposed to taking in refugees under an EU-wide quota system should suffer financial penalties.
Faymann says it is "unacceptable that some nations, because they are not personally affected, refuse to work on a joint solution" to the influx of migrants into the EU.

His comments appear to be aimed at countries like Slovakia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland, which oppose accepting refugees under a quota system.

2:30 p.m.
The Dutch government is making an extra 110 million euros ($123 million) available to help fund safe migrant accommodation near Syria.
Junior Security and Justice Minister Klaas Dijkhoff also is appealing for better cooperation in dealing with the surge in people pouring into Europe....

I think the determination by the Dutch government is very smart. Countries facing cultural problems can assist the helpless coming out of Syria. Such efforts can be coordinated by the UN, but, if such effort is to be a success for the Dutch, assistance has to be at least witnessed as a vested interest by the Dutch. An example of how large amounts of money achieves nothing but corruption is Afghanistan. It's corruption became a greater and greater part of the economy with more money being lost to invisible power brokers within Afghanistan.

I think the nation building that transpired in Afghanistan and Iraq built a greater danger to Europe, ie: when Daesh first carried out attacks that removed weapons and vehicles from the so called military of Iraq. At the first opportunity Deash killed randomly to secure such munitions and vehicles. That is a direct problem for Europe. Nation building as demonstrated in the post 911 environment only increased the danger to The West and the region. I am sure today, Russia would state assisting rebel groups and an attempt to supply arms is a violation of the Small Arms Treaty and increases the instability of the region.

Today, it is not only Syria with this unusual case of anarchy, it is also Libya. Libya has no sincere central authority, with assassinations by the recognized leadership internationally over the recent year or two. It's escalation of violence between tribes and ethnicity has been notable post Gaddafi. There is a real effort to divide the country into East Libya and West Libya. That so far hasn't worked but it also hasn't settled long standing disputes either.

At the beginning of the Ukraine crisis Germany built housing complexes for those attempting to leave the area to find safe housing. That housing was near the Ukraine border if I remember correctly. That is a far better idea than allowing significant numbers of people with unknown identity. It is compassionate yet a measure of control as well.

I'll be back, there is a rather interesting storm thundering it warning.

Sorry, that was an interesting little storm.

I don't know why these people are leaving Syria in large numbers, but, my best guess is that their leadership is gone and they have no one to lead them. That is the best scenario into why they are leaving. I suppose the authorities in any of the countries receiving them can interview them to better understand their exodus.

When I think of the Daesh regime it is understandable people would seek a refugee status, but, that has been happening and Jordan is proof of the burden that country shoulders to insure the lives of those currently refugees in that country. Jordan closed it's border with Syria about a week or so ago. If these stream of refugees is average to the experience of Jordan than this is more of the same.

But, the relationship Jordan has with Syrian refugees is different than the experience Europe has and probably will have. There are government officials that oppose the head scarves for girls and the freedom of expression in Europe is met with violence. That can't be dismissed as insignificant in to where and how these desperate people will find shelter.

There is also the idea over time these refugees may actually find remorse leaving and the subsequent change in mood that will come with comfort and when survival is no longer a priority.

I don't want harm to come to anyone and that three year old child dead on the beach was heartbreaking. But, as civilized countries it cannot be ignored there is danger in any person coming that may ultimately decide they have to avenge any sin they may perceive of committing with Syrian exodus. These folks have no religious leader and are used to a different type of religious leader. The communication and appreciation they must find in taking shelter in Europe has to be met with loyalty, too.

For as sad as their stories are the fact remains Europe has already been effected by dangerous people that find self satisfying murder in some bizarre idea of jihad. Europe cannot ignore there has been a lot of time since Deash first intimidated the Iraqi military and took their munitions into battle against that Iraq military. What is to stop them once in Europe? The last time a terrorist struck it was a chemical factory and not a nuclear plant because of security surrounding those plants. Is there any doubt the flying drone was to establish knowledge about the nuclear facilities.

Currently, it can be easily stated the people of Syria have no choice but to leave. There are no successful growth of crops and no indication there is clean water or sustenance of any kind. The mass movement of people makes a lot of sense when realizing what Daesh promised as far as living the dream and that it cannot deliver.

There is anarchy in Syria and parts of Iraq, but, that cannot be met with sympathy so much as assessment to provide compassion. What is the Red Crescent saying about any humanitarian aid and the conditions in the country?
I would think they would have good information regarding the success in humanitarian efforts.

This mass exodus has also occurred after Turkey decided to find it's backbone. Can the areas once cities and towns to these people be considered safe by now that Turkey has secured it's border?
