Also to mention...

May 2, 2018

...Morocco will sever diplomatically (click here) ties with Iran over Tehran's support for the Polisario Front, a Western Sahara independence movement, the Moroccan foreign minister said on Tuesday.

Morocco claimed Western Sahara after colonial Spain left, but Polisario fought a guerrilla war for independence for the Sahrawi people until a UN-backed cease-fire was implemented.

Morocco will close its embassy in Tehran and will expel the Iranian ambassador in Rabat, Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita told reporters.

He said that Iran and its Lebanese Shi'ite ally, Hezbollah, were supporting Polisario by training and arming its fighters via the Iranian embassy in Algeria....

There is a lot going on in North Africa. The Dutch peacekeepers are so poorly equipped they serve no purpose and in 2019 will be deployed to Afghanistan to increase the security of the government.

Why doesn't the USA simply provide better equipment to the Dutch as part of a NATO initiative? I don't get it. If this is a Wall Street crony thing, then it needs to end and the Dutch made to be secure as peacekeepers and defenders of their country.

Also, the people of Iran and it's leadership are a bit annoyed with the Supreme Leader for ending the public display of the World Cup games where Iran has a team. The Supreme Leader does not approve of women and men in the same space to watch video together. The Iranian television is trying to get permits for the remaining games. Let's hope they do so and allow children to cheer their favorite team member with ideals that will bring the hopes of doing the same some day.

A country can't expect to do well economically by only defining their society based in religion. Women are more important to Shi'ite religion than Sunni's faith. I would expect that importance to reflect in the wishes of Iranian women for health, enjoyment and love of family in one open air space!
