No one is asking the Taliban if they are committing war crimes.

I don't know how anyone gets the information about mass murder or gang rapes, but, I am quite sure the Taliban committed war crimes.

And such good looking folks, too. I can understand how they might gang rape people otherwise engaged in living a life of peace, potential prosperity and hoping for a better future.

Did I mention the Taliban is not an ethnicity, but, a militia? Did I mention that?

Amnesty International
Mass murder, (click here) gang rapes and house-to-house searches by Taliban death squads are just some of the harrowing civilian testimonies emerging from Kunduz as Afghan forces today claimed to have regained control of key areas of the northern city, Amnesty International said.
The organization has spoken to numerous people, the majority of them women, who have fled Kunduz since Monday, when the Taliban launched a sudden assault on the city. Women human rights defenders from Kunduz spoke of a “hit list” being used by the Taliban to track down activists and others, and described how fighters had raped and killed numerous civilians.
“The harrowing accounts we’ve received paint a picture of a reign of terror during the Taliban’s brutal capture of Kunduz this week. The multiple credible reports of killings, rapes and other horrors meted out against the city’s residents must prompt the Afghan authorities to do more now to protect civilians, in particular in areas where more fighting appears imminent,” said Horia Mosadiq, Afghanistan Researcher at Amnesty International....

I am sure "Doctors without Borders" is very upset, but, the Taliban turned their facility into a war zone. It comes with the territory. The USA military is an easy target because they are legitimate and have accountability. But, they aren't the people that turned the city into a war zone, now did they?

I stated the USA military has to leave because they are too powerful a presence in the region. The first thing any military personnel does is reach for are the bombs and the heavy weapons. That is the USA and it's allies. Then mistakes happen and people die that survived the initial attack by the Taliban.

The Taliban are going to be a problem, mostly to themselves, but they will be a problem for as long as they believe they have a holy war to wage. The REAL problem is that Afghanistan has made progress within their larger cities and Taliban want it.

I looked for and found the current weather in Kunduz. I didn't think I would find it and this easily. That tells me Kunduz has some degree of sophistication and values knowledge. They aren't barbarians, like the Taliban.

Why the weather? I wanted to know what drove the Taliban into Kunduz. It is still fairly comfortable there, but, the mountains might be getting cold.

There are a myriad number of tribes and militias in the region. Those tribes make a living. The Taliban doesn't. They  are barbarians, crude and do not value life. It is completely understandable how they came to shelter bin Laden and feed of his money. The Taliban are parasites off any society.

Before 911, anthropologists could make visits to Afghanistan and collect data regarding the people. The Taliban was a ruling group at that time. Anthropologists found a crude way of living. Rudimentary is a good word to the data they collected. When the King was in power Afghanistan was a very different country. The people and women regarded learning and quality of life as important pursuits.

That quality of life was lost when the Taliban took over village after village. The LAW was as crude as the Taliban. We know the nightmares and it is based in "the elders council." However, the people did have a life and women were mothers an average of six times in their lives. It was the crudest form of Islam ever practiced.

It is at least one generation since that study and the Afghan people are still struggling to build their country and have a better quality of life. The fact is the Taliban is a problem and it is a persistent problem. The Taliban are not welcome in Pakistan and they left. Quite literally, the people made them miserable because they weren't permitted to have influence. Thinking about Pakistan, other than the tribal region, guns and death are not accepted as normal daily practice. The Pakistan people have cell phones. They like the connectedness and it serves them to have a quality of life somewhat better than it has been in the past.

Afghanistan believes it needs war to protect the people and the Taliban is a dangerous entity that deserves war and death raining down on them.

HOW IS IT, THE TALIBAN WERE DRIVEN FROM PAKISTAN WITHOUT WAR, BUT, FIND A METHODOLOGY TO OVER THROW GOVERNMENTS IN AFGHANISTAN?

What did the Taliban do when they invaded Kunduz? Food? Basic staples for the winter to return to the mountains? No. They raided the bank and killed people because they could EASILY find munitions that belong to the USA.

I am very confident that Russia does not arm the Taliban.

The presence of the USA is making the entire region far more dangerous than it normally would be.

The Taliban have nothing to do with Iran.

It's real simple.

TROOPS OUT NOW and the Doctors without Borders can decide if it will be safe enough for Infidels to stay in Afghanistan. Any Caucasian from a country outside Afghan borders will be considered a spy regardless of how benevolent they might be to the people and the Taliban. Doctors without Borders treat both sides of the war. They don't stop to ask if treating, while moral and ethical, both sides of the conflict places them in danger. If the Taliban cannot be routed out of Afghanistan, they will find the Doctors without Borders a threat. These volunteers doing important work could face death if the Taliban take control of any city in Afghanistan.

The USA needs to leave Afghanistan, remove all munitions and war hardware with them and be sure the NGOs are either out of the country already or at least are warned about their danger.

When the excitement of the end of the USA occupation settles down, there won't be war wounds to treat anymore. Doctor visits will have to be at their own risk.
