Unless this is coordinated with Russia, it is pure unadulterated foolishness.

The USA is walking right into a trap. Why object to any actions by the USA when the aggression justifies war?

Washington - President Obama (click here) has authorized surveillance flights over Syria, a precursor to potential airstrikes there, but a mounting concern for the White House is how to target the Sunni extremists without helping President Bashar al-Assad.Defense officials said Monday evening that the Pentagon was sending in manned and unmanned reconnaissance flights over Syria, using a combination of aircraft, including drones and possibly U2 spy planes. Mr. Obama approved the flights over the weekend, a senior administration official said...

Russia isn't North Korea whereby other nations mitigate non-proliferation and war. Intimidation won't work.

MOSCOW, August 21 (RIA Novosti) - The recent sighting (click here) of a Japanese submarine off Russia's Pacific coast is a rare one, unlike the presence of the US Navy’s subs, Admiral Viktor Fyodorov, former commander of the Russian Pacific Fleet, told RIA Novosti Thursday.
“There have hardly been any sightings of Japanese submarines near Russia’s maritime border, unlike American ones, which have been on routine patrol missions off the Kamchatka [peninsula] shore and the main base of Russia’s Pacific Fleet in Vilyuchinsk,” Adm. Fyodorov said.
This comment came after a report by Russia’s Kommersant daily, which cited a senior military official from the General Staff as saying earlier in the day that a Japanese submarine had been detected Wednesday in the La Perouse Strait, in between the southern part of the Russian island of Sakhalin and Japan's northern-most home island of Hokkaido....

It isn't the same thing. This is the USA sending spy planes to bomb Syria or worse, occupy it? There is a Russian naval base and the President, the legitimately elected President regardless of how anyone disapproves of the election he is still the legitimate President of Syria.

...The reconnaissance flights would not be the first time the United States has entered Syrian airspace without seeking permission. In July, American Special Operations forces carried out an unsuccessful rescue attempt for hostages held by ISIS, including the journalist James Foley, whose death was revealed last week in an ISIS video....

This isn't about a group of hostages that, BY THE WAY, wasn't there. This is about as stupid as it comes. Russia couldn't stop ISIS if it wanted to? Seriously? Russia couldn't come to Assad's rescue? Who's inflated ego is kidding who's inflated ego?

I ain't up for this war and neither is the rest of the nation.

There is no UN Security Council convening to draw up a resolution and the Republicans are silent for a very real reason.

Ya, know, peace is never spoken by Republicans and the USA military would love to re-engage Iraq and prolong Afghanistan. This is pure idiocy. I suppose the USA military is going to have a field day until Congress comes back, huh?
