There should be rip current warnings along the entire gulf and east coast.

I would think the waves alone would sound small craft warnings, too. This storms reach goes beyond the gulf coast. 


The National Weather Service is warning that deadly rip currents at New Jersey beaches are likely today, but those conditions aren’t believed to be related to Tropical Storm Issac.
“Issac is quite a ways away from here,” said Mitchell Gaines, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service’s Mount Holly office. “Will it affect New Jersey? It’s still difficult to determine that.”...
