Happy Mother’s Day

I hope every woman has a great day with the person they share equality in parenting.

To all mothers missing their dearly loved children my thoughts are with them to lift their losses to a country needing a return to a child’s safety.

Pope Leo XIV’s first Sunday service.

He is calling for peace in all corners of the world.

Perhaps the ceasefire and peace processes should be conducted with diplomats at the Vatican for he and his staff to see it through.

Or.

Perhaps the peace talks should have a Vatican representative involved to keep Pope Leo appraised of actual success.

Otherwise.

The Pope’s message is lost in deadly political rhetoric. If the spiritual leaders are made a part of talks they can bring peace and humanity consistently to the table.

I believe corruption exists at these talks. It is vital the people know since peace is being signed into a profoundly new reality.

The story of Pope Leo XIV

Chicago should prepare for the pilgrimage that will come soon. Besides global
Interest, many Americans will be coming to visit tha place where the new Pope grew up.

Peacekeepers to Kashmir and border lands of India

Fully armed with body armor, with armored Humvee Peacekeepers need to perform assessments to the damage in Pakistan and India.

This is ridiculous. Terrorists are fair game, but, citizens and business infrastructure and housing in two impoverished countries is not okay.

There needs to be a delegation to conclude a cooperative mission to end terrorism, including whatever permissions the ISI allows.

Due Process is constitutional.

Human beings in this country legally cannot be treated as if they were here illegally. The country allows immigration and it promises fair treatment.

Trump is hammering away at immigration and immigrants because it is a political strength. It is probably the ONLY strength he and the Republicans have right now so they will continue to grow the hate scenario of “the other.”

It is no different than Putin. His politics demands he reconstitute the former Soviet Union. So as long as he finds strength and compliance within that focus the war with Ukraine will continue.

With both of these men the chronic hate of “the other” is a requirement. Trump has no facts to back up his chronic assault on the USA Constitution, due process, and immigrants. Putin has already lost the war with Ukraine and doesn’t care about the strain on the Russian people or allies.

Their hate has no purpose except what they assign it. Trump will continually avoid the power of the USA Constitution and the Republican majority in the legislature will continually shrug their shoulders at “what to do” because they are political cowards to do what is best.

Politics is a powerful thing. It can kill as it does in Ukraine and within Russia and as we are witnessing with innocent Venezuelans wrongfully held in El Salvador. If they are used for a prisoner exchange they will face dire circumstances in Venezuela. Why? Because they represent the opposite of authoritarian rule.

The American Judges are not wrong. They will continue to protect the innocent and in return Trump will try every trick in the book to defeat them including hate dialogues with whoever feels conflicted by the gas lighting.

Judge Boasberg is trying to determine the extent to which the USA still holds an interest in the immigrants in El Salvador. If one recalls the Trump administration admits it made a mistake in deporting an innocent man who now fears for his life. There is a good chance all the men in El Salvador are innocent and should have never been transported from the USA. If a president of the USA is permitted to simply shrug his shoulders declaring, “Oops, nothing can be done to correct the demise of an innocent man, that can happen to anyone.”

Mr. Garcia is viewed by many as a person who never should have been in the USA in the first place. WRONG. Mr. Garcia’s status is of a human being legally in the USA seeking asylum. His case was well litigated before ICE rounded up human beings to deport. That means legally he may as well be an American citizen. He was on solid ground when he was illegally removed from the USA.

Judge Boasberg sees Mr. Garcia from the legal perspective of what do we, as a constitutional republic do to remand an innocent person back to the USA? This is not a trivial lawsuit that can be easily dismissed. The ACLU is looking at what occurred in horror and the potential of greater damage to innocent people legally within the USA.

There is a lot to worry about here. A lot. Trump has already made statements about deporting natural born citizens currently in USA federal prisons to foreign countries. This case carries a great deal of brevity to every citizen of the country. I remind Trump is also going after birthright citizenship in the face of his own children, except Tiffany, being anchor babies. Tiffany’s husband is an anchor baby, too.

But, when examining the desperate hate of Trump in his political promises to “believers” it can get to be extremely concerning. ICE acted under an executive order that bears no legal reference. There is no proof any of the Venezuelans are gang members and we also know El Salvador has locked up innocent men and women citizens accused of being gang members. It was not long ago when the Philippines president Duterte allowed open season on ANYONE socially accused of being a drug dealer (click here). More than 12,000 people were gunned down under Duterte.

When power is unleashed through anarchy, everyone should be worried for themselves and their family.

So, Judge Boasberg has an important set of decisions to make. How far does the sovereign power of USA citizenship and with that protective immigrant status extend to Americans in other countries? If Trump ever exported federal prisoners overseas what rights and responsibilities do we have to them? Foreign prisons have their own rules. Will those rules have to accommodate USA doctrine?

There is a short interview in the Vatican article. This is a great honor for the USA and especially Chicago.

Pakistan should give pause to Response.

The last thing Pakistan should be start a war with India. The two countries have common concerns to deal with in the fact that terrorists have dominated Kashmir for a long time.

There is no reason for dead children and innocent people, but, obviously there was no communication between the two countries regarding the terrorists targeted. There should be clarification of Pakistan’s purpose in retaliation.

It is clear these attacks were not of government structures. The attacks were to be successful as a surprise aggression to terrorist sites. If Pakistan believes starting a war with India over terrorist deaths is a good idea, it might open up a war it is not bargaining for.

Pakistan and India should be conferencing to resolve the problems with this attack and find a way forward to end terrorist attacks into India. An investigation to the deaths is prudent. People can be held responsible for targeting innocent people. A full scale invasion is not appropriate until the facts are known. Pakistan should not be defending or asking their own military to suffer losses in defending the violence by terrorists within their borders.$

This is called racketeering.

It is paid protection sanctioned by Congress. Law firms, universities, etc. pay Trump $100 million and they are not attacked by him through the powers AVAILABLE to Trump by sheer office of the presidency.

If Congress were doing its job, Trump would be impeached for the crimes he is committing from the Oval Office.

And Kennedy and Graham better not be saying Bondi has to bring Trump up on charges before Congress can call this a crime. Bondi is just as corrupt as Trump is and it appears she is looking the other way.

How many lawyers are in Congress and they don’t recognize racketeering? Graham was a member of the JAG Corp and he can’t recognize High Crimes and Misdemeanors when he sees them?

It all looks open and shut to me. There are highly educated people at the top of all these institutions that can provide testimony. Retribution, paid protection, and extortion is not protected by the Supreme Court’s earlier decision. These are all acts against long established institutions for personal gain.

Questions?

What seems to be the problem?

Popularity ratings and disinformation are valid defenses.

USPS

As Trump plays with leadership at the Constitutionally established and guaranteed United State Postal Service I find the UPS Mail Innovation Service very slow in comparison to USPS.

Hegseth’s assault of Ukraine

In cancelling shipments of weapons to Ukraine has breached the new contract with the mineral mine. The contract has value. It the USA has soured on the mining there is still the issue of the value of the contract. While Ukraine no longer must share its minerals with the USA, it has the right to sue the USA for the value of the contract.

Hegseth seems have his own glide path which raises the concern as to who is in charge. A Secretary of Defense cannot declare war, but, perhaps Hegseth doesn’t appreciate that fact. He is irresponsible from every aspect of DOD leadership.

If Hegseth can create tensions with Allie’s for off the cuff decisions where else in this administration are cabinet officers making rouge decisions?

Between Musk and Hegseth who truly is president?

Warren Buffet is retiring.

How did Warren Buffet earn it? He worked for it. If anyone were to ask him though he would give all the credit to Charlie. They were always a great team. Here is to any incredible career and a fantastic retirement.

Trump’s lawlessness

Trump has taken the Supreme Court decision about immunity to prosecution for breaking the law completely out of context. He is deliberately doing that so he can carry out atrocities to citizens who were previously welcome here. Trump is breaking the law for political purposes and hubris. He enjoys breaking the law and rubbing everyone’s noses in it as if to say, “Ha, ha, I can get away with murder but you can’t.”

He can’t get away with murder, but, he will boast that he can over and over to the delight to his audience.

The fact of the matter is that when Trump signs an executive order it can carry great brevity. If he writes an unlawful order he may be immune from prosecution through the generosity of a too trusting Supreme Court. But, simply because Trump may be immune doesn’t mean everyone down the chain of command is immune. No one down the chain of command should be laughing at extreme power over innocent and unarmed people.

When Trump wrote his fantasy of removing all  immigrants from the USA and it was interpreted to include all immigrants, lawfully or not, Noem or whoever turned it into a man hunt for every immigrant in the country. Asylum be damned.

Noem or whoever interpreted the Executive order in the manner she did, broke the law. Human beings of Venezuelan decent can’t simply be rounded up like cattle to be transported back to the slaughter they would face in Venezuela after being traded by El Salvador’s leadership. That is not only unlawful in the USA but also internationally.

The acts by all those in the chain of command including ICE agents are unlawful and can be prosecuted for their crimes which could be easily include death if any occurred.

The Supreme Court decision that protects the President from prosecution for acts/behavior deemed unlawful wasn’t handed down to allow the President to carry out racist terrorism at will within this country. It was decided that in the course of lawful proceedings as president should something go terribly wrong the president could not be held for a crime.

The Alien Enemies Act has been found to be abused by the President within the context he is applying the law. Outcomes of law are as much a part of the Rule of Law as the words on the page. Asylum is a very important tool that defines the USA as a lawful and compassionate country. In that is a greater use of asylum that allows other countries to decide that Americans held in their custody are accustomed to receiving justice but not cruelty. This understanding is most important with our military and POWs.

So, the Rule of Law as DICTATED by the USA Constitution reigns  in this country. Anyone taking frivolous Executive Orders as if law without reflecting on the outcomes of those orders is guilty of lawbreaking both domestically and internationally. While hubris of the idea Trump further abuses the law by issuing pardons as if tissues to sniffles of a nose, and believing they will be exonerated from heinous acts are extremely mistaken to the absolute resolve of their guilt. No promise of a pardon should ever be viewed as a guarantee to killing or otherwise. A president promising pardons for illegal behavior is guilty of abusing the power of the office.

Trump is protected by the Supreme Court decision while conducting himself within the guardrails of the USA Constitution. Going outside the Constitution and using executive orders and a pardon for unlawful decisions is NOT the act of a president. Being a rouge, unlawful president is just as illegal today as in the past before the Supreme Court decision.

Religious bigotry

By displaying himself in Papal garments Donald Trump is being disrespectful and that is religious bigotry. The Holy See should carry out whatever sanctions or public disdain the Vatican believes appropriate for wrongful behavior by a head of state.

That is Trump. He is a tabloid personality no matter what he does. His demeanor is rude, crude, and without healthy boundaries that respect others. I apologize to the Holy See for a rancorous display of hate by Donald John Trump. He is a profound embarrassment to many Americans.

I look forward to the orderly transition to the next Pope.

Emoluments Clause

Trump is running into trouble with the Emoluments Clause. That may be the case with Trump denying funding to other radio and television stations.

The amendment isn’t complete.

To begin Trump has violated his oath of office by refusing Due Process to people arrested by ICE.

Please excuse me, but the Jayapal Amendment as presented to the committee is incorrect. The focus of a clarifying amendment needs to be the violation of the Constitution. The Jayapal amendment focused on ICE. ICE is not the issue.

The issue at hand is the violation of a citizen’s right in being denied Due Process. ICE agents can receive orders to do many things and should not be restrained from acting. However, whether the USA provides Due Process is the issue. Basically, when does ICE go from valuable law enforcement agent to an instrument of a dictator without question? ICE took an oath as well.

What no one has explained to ICE agents is that questioning an unlawful order that violates the Constitutional rights of the person being arrested is NECESSARY in order to preserve their legal authority within their  oath and their paycheck. Questioning an authority acting illegally and/or a document that violates the USA Constitution is a work product requirement and is NOT insubordination of authority.

No law enforcement official is in violation of the USA Constitution if they are placing the constitutional rights of those arrested first. As a matter of fact it is required within their work/job. When law enforcement crosses that line they are violating the law. Instead of violating the law any agent should be in contact immediately with their unions when asked or ordered to violate the law.

It is not unusual under oligarchs and dictators to have those enforcing the law, violate it when a threat to their paycheck is made. It is important to know the responsibility of the officer and when a violation of their work product occurs. Any willing violation of the constitutional rights of others can result in suspension of their work and pay. That is what the amendment should focus on to ensure it’s right to be a law under the USA Constitution.

Correct conduct in upholding the USA Constitution is not insubordination. Voluntarily providing a loyalty to an oligarch, dictator, and/or president outside of the legal authority of the USA Constitution is far more than simply a work product issue. As a matter of fact a clarifying amendment is not necessary as the standard of lawful conduct of officers already exists. ICE needs a refresher course. That really is all that is necessary and unions can and should provide those reminders.

The right to Due Process is not in question. Law breaking by agents is. No executive order can change that. Dahhhhhh…..

Surprise, King Trump says you are not a citizen anymore.

Trump and Bondi are already denying Americans and Protected People the Constitutional right of Due Process. By extension to the inaction by Congress members, so are they.

Due Process is guaranteed to people in the USA by the 5th and 14th Amendment. Trump sees that RIGHT as a loop hole to his control. It is not a loop hole, it is the right of every American to require the full explanation of charges against them, a right to council if they require it, and a hearing of the facts with a jury of their peers. Denying Due Process is a lynch pin to ending trials which may very well lead to possible proven innocence.

Ukraine now is a USA interest.

It is unfortunate Ukraine had to go to this extreme to obtain the focus of the USA, but, at least the USA will have an active interest in the success of Ukraine’s war. NATO must also be feeling relief of dread about an estranged USA. I think NATO should maintain its focus of a stronger military protecting Europe in a few years.

But, President Zelenskyy is brilliant for bringing the USA on board. This new agreement also sets a precedent to be concerned about, too. The new contract between the USA and Ukraine opens up concern about the COST of the INTEREST now  impacting the relationship.

It has been a reason to get involved in conflicts in other countries if the USA had “interests” there. By “interests” the definition has always been Wall Street investments. Wall Street investment is a focus of the USA strategic defense. It is that interest that frequently brings stability as well.

True to form with the signing of the new contract between the USA and Ukraine the military assistance needed by Ukraine has been reestablished. That is important. The help won’t be interrupted anymore and the USA will move to improve the mining and create safety to those carrying that mining.

NATO also has a full partner again. It can look to Ukraine as a partner worthy of entering not only the EU, but, NATO, too. The U.S.A. already is engaged in supporting Ukraine with it’s new interest and there is no reason to prevent NATO membership and everything that means if Russia continues it’s violence against the people and land of Ukraine.

Interestingly, the difference between this “USA interest” in Ukraine is that it moves beyond Wall Street and private investment to the interest of our sovereignty.

A subversive

Donald John Trump is and always HAS BEEN a fool for a buck. It is why the Heritage Foundation promoted him for president. It was their last hope to subvert the USA Constitution. He gets along with communists and dictators because he is weak and not strong.

Trump is a climate crisis denier. That doesn’t mean the evidence is wrong, it means Trump looks the other way in denial of the addiction he has to fossil fuel wealth. He is a denier, not because he is strong, but, because he is weak.

Spineless. Rubio knows something about dictators.

Trump is so full of hate he can’t even see the fact that his views on birthright citizenship would send some of his administration and his own wife packing. Quite possibly most of his children, too. Trump’s kids are anchor babies.

Rubio is correct in that the Kilmar Abrego Garcia case…

…is about foreign policy. But, in an attempt to redefine the meaning of foreign policy Former Secretary of State Rubio ignores that the individual Garcia was protected by USA foreign policy before Trump violated it. Individual Garcia is also protected by USA immigration policy before Trump violated it.

The statements by Mr. Rubio clearly proves the perverted state of thinking by the Trump Administration. If this is the state of mind of the administration officials there is reason for real concern about the well being of the Executive Branch.

Mr. Rubio forgets USA foreign policy began long before Trump took office, not the day he was inaugurated. We have problems. This administration is ignoring the Constitution and the Rule of Law.

What Mr. Rubio is stating is part of the planned assault against the U.S.A. Judiciary by the Heritage Foundation.

USA foreign policy regarding asylum of people fearing for their lives has long been a part of our immigration system. Asylum of an entire people as in the case of the Venezuelans only speaks to the cruel domestic policies of Venezuela. If Trump and Rubio want to change the circumstances of the law abiding people of Venezuela now in the USA for protections I suggest talks with Maduro should begin. Those talks need to reflect Maduro is holding power through a military coupe and not the free and fair elections of the people of Venezuela.

It is called the truth. I know the truth is uncomfortable of Donald, but, it is deeply entrenched in USA foreign policy. I will remind Mr. Rubio that Donald’s pardon pen doesn’t work at the ICC.

Mr. Rubio and Mr. Trump may want to discuss foreign policy with the USA House Foreign Affairs Committee and the USA Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the USA House Armed Services Committee, and the USA House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, as well as all the parallel USA Senate Committees. I realize Donald and Hegseth want to rid themselves of the military advisory committees, but, given the sad state of this administration I strongly suggest the military advisory boards file a complain through the courts to enforce the will of the American people.

The reason Mr. Trump is receiving strong head winds with the courts is because they are a check and balance against wrongful conduct by other branches of government. It is called the USA Constitution. While the current executive branch wants to dismantle that magnificent document to please and appease the Heritage Foundation, that is illegal.

The Trump Administration in lock step with the Heritage Foundation is committing human rights violations, as is El Salvador and any other country wrongfully holding people that belong within USA borders.
