Human beings in this country legally cannot be treated as if they were here illegally. The country allows immigration and it promises fair treatment.

Trump is hammering away at immigration and immigrants because it is a political strength. It is probably the ONLY strength he and the Republicans have right now so they will continue to grow the hate scenario of “the other.”
It is no different than Putin. His politics demands he reconstitute the former Soviet Union. So as long as he finds strength and compliance within that focus the war with Ukraine will continue.
With both of these men the chronic hate of “the other” is a requirement. Trump has no facts to back up his chronic assault on the USA Constitution, due process, and immigrants. Putin has already lost the war with Ukraine and doesn’t care about the strain on the Russian people or allies.
Their hate has no purpose except what they assign it. Trump will continually avoid the power of the USA Constitution and the Republican majority in the legislature will continually shrug their shoulders at “what to do” because they are political cowards to do what is best.
Politics is a powerful thing. It can kill as it does in Ukraine and within Russia and as we are witnessing with innocent Venezuelans wrongfully held in El Salvador. If they are used for a prisoner exchange they will face dire circumstances in Venezuela. Why? Because they represent the opposite of authoritarian rule.
The American Judges are not wrong. They will continue to protect the innocent and in return Trump will try every trick in the book to defeat them including hate dialogues with whoever feels conflicted by the gas lighting.

Judge Boasberg is trying to determine the extent to which the USA still holds an interest in the immigrants in El Salvador. If one recalls the Trump administration admits it made a mistake in deporting an innocent man who now fears for his life. There is a good chance all the men in El Salvador are innocent and should have never been transported from the USA. If a president of the USA is permitted to simply shrug his shoulders declaring, “Oops, nothing can be done to correct the demise of an innocent man, that can happen to anyone.”
Mr. Garcia is viewed by many as a person who never should have been in the USA in the first place. WRONG. Mr. Garcia’s status is of a human being legally in the USA seeking asylum. His case was well litigated before ICE rounded up human beings to deport. That means legally he may as well be an American citizen. He was on solid ground when he was illegally removed from the USA.
Judge Boasberg sees Mr. Garcia from the legal perspective of what do we, as a constitutional republic do to remand an innocent person back to the USA? This is not a trivial lawsuit that can be easily dismissed. The ACLU is looking at what occurred in horror and the potential of greater damage to innocent people legally within the USA.
There is a lot to worry about here. A lot. Trump has already made statements about deporting natural born citizens currently in USA federal prisons to foreign countries. This case carries a great deal of brevity to every citizen of the country. I remind Trump is also going after birthright citizenship in the face of his own children, except Tiffany, being anchor babies. Tiffany’s husband is an anchor baby, too.
But, when examining the desperate hate of Trump in his political promises to “believers” it can get to be extremely concerning. ICE acted under an executive order that bears no legal reference. There is no proof any of the Venezuelans are gang members and we also know El Salvador has locked up innocent men and women citizens accused of being gang members. It was not long ago when the Philippines president Duterte allowed open season on ANYONE socially accused of being a drug dealer (click here). More than 12,000 people were gunned down under Duterte.
When power is unleashed through anarchy, everyone should be worried for themselves and their family.
So, Judge Boasberg has an important set of decisions to make. How far does the sovereign power of USA citizenship and with that protective immigrant status extend to Americans in other countries? If Trump ever exported federal prisoners overseas what rights and responsibilities do we have to them? Foreign prisons have their own rules. Will those rules have to accommodate USA doctrine?
