There is a complaint letter making its way around the internet.

This is typical of people that envy others for their ability to work a regular job, without the responsibility of running the company. Envy those that play by the rules and have the rules change in the middle of building the American Dream.

It is nice for Mr. Crowley that he never had to stand in an unemployment line while he came back from his resort house when the crisis began to work in the office while letting hired help collect unemployment.

Mr. Crowley pays nearly a quarter of a million in taxes each quarter to the federal government and still maintains a high quality of life for himself. He maintains a healthy company and yet he bemoans his ability to expand. IF ONLY is his cry and he sees no reason to pay taxes at all as he could become wealthier and pub at least 12 more people to work.

I am glad Mr. Crowley is successful. When a person assumes his choices in life make him an exception to the rule he is wrong. Hopefully he has made good choices in his investments with the money he has made and will be secure the rest of his days regardless of the economy or his involvement with the company when he retires.

Mr. Crowley is exactly the millionaire I am used to hearing speak about their plight when it comes to paying taxes. They bemoan their wealth slipping through their hands. I guarantee when he was an employee he didn't feel a thing when his taxes were withheld from his pay check. Paying the taxes as an employer is a responsibility that pays him more than any employee he had.

As to building the economy by employing twelve more people at the cost of future generations when a million slips through their fingers as the GOP provides MORE tax deductions to business. He doesn't care, his wealth and well being is secure as will be his family.

As to the idea he CAN expand his business the answer is obvious; If the market share was there he would not be asking for a government handout in the way of paying no taxes. If the demand for his services were that high he could charge more money for the scarcity of service his company provides. If he was charging more money he would have the capital he needed to increase the size and scope of his business.

While Mr. Crowley is welcome to his success in the choices he made and deserves to be congratulated; the fact of the matter is he and his peers are still paying the Bush Tax Rates and still complaining about the same old crap.

It is my understanding that he is holding a fair share of trade for his company and probably would put others out of business if given half a chance to increase his business and wealth. See, the Bush Tax Cuts don't work and Mr. Crowley is a prime example of it.

The USA has provided more than enough time for people to build businesses with lower tax rates. Now, it is time to pay back the invisible government subsidies they received by adding to the deficit.

Bitch, bitch, bitch, that is all they do. His BACK STORY does not make him a better person than his employees and was completely HIS CHOICE. His memory is short to realize it was President Obama that provided the Small Business Administration with a cash flow for loans to stabilize businesses like him after the banks were bailed out and refused loans afterwards. They love biting the hand that feeds them.

To All My Valued Employees,

There have been some rumblings around the office about the future of
this company, and more specifically, your job. As you know, the economy
has changed for the worse and presents many challenges. However, the
good news is this: The economy doesn't pose a threat to your job.

What does threaten your job however, is the changing political landscape
in this country. Of course, as your employer, I am forbidden to tell you
whom to vote for - it is against the law to discriminate based on
political affiliation, race, creed, religion, etc.

Please vote for who you think will serve your interests the best.
However, let me tell you some little tidbits of fact which might help
you decide what is in your best interest. First, while it is easy to
spew rhetoric that casts employers against employees, you have to
understand that for every business owner there is a back story.

This back story is often neglected and overshadowed by what you see and
hear.  Sure, you see me park my Mercedes outside.  You saw my big home
at last year’s Christmas party. I'm sure all these flashy icons of
luxury conjure up some idealized thoughts about my life. However, what
you don't see is the back story.

I started this company 12 years ago. At that time, I lived in a 300
square foot studio apartment for 3 years. My entire living space was
converted into an office so I could put forth 100% effort into building
a company, which by the way, would eventually employ you.

My diet consisted of Ramen Pride noodles because every dollar I spent
went back into this company. I drove a rusty Toyota Corolla with a
defective transmission. I didn't have time to date. Often times, I
stayed home on weekends, while my friends went out drinking and
partying. In fact, I was married to my business -- hard work,
discipline, and sacrifice.

Meanwhile, my friends got jobs. They worked 40 hours a week and made a
modest $50K a year and spent every dime they earned. They drove flashy
cars and lived in expensive homes and wore fancy designer clothes.
Instead of hitting Nordstrom's for the latest hot fashion item, I was
trolling through the Goodwill store extracting any clothing item that
didn't look like it was birthed in the 70's.

My friends refinanced their mortgages and lived a life of luxury. I,
however, did not. I put my time, my money, and my life into a business
--- with a vision that eventually, some day, I too, will be able to
afford these luxuries my friends supposedly had.

So, while you physically arrive at the office at 9 am, mentally check in
at about noon, and then leave at 5 pm, I don't. There is no "off" button
for me. When you leave the office, you are done and you have a weekend
all to yourself.  I unfortunately do not have the freedom.  I eat, ****,
and breathe this company every minute of the day. There is no rest.
There is no weekend. There is no happy hour. Every day this business is
attached to me like a 1 day old baby.

You, of course, only see the fruits of that garden -- the nice house,
the Mercedes, the vacations... You never realize the back story and the
sacrifices I've made. Now, the economy is falling apart and I, the guy
that made all the right decisions and saved his money, have to bail out
all the people who didn't.

The people that overspent their paychecks suddenly feel entitled to the
same luxuries that I earned and sacrificed a decade of my life for.
Yes, business ownership has its benefits but the price I've paid is
steep and not without wounds. Unfortunately, the cost of running this
business, and employing you, is starting to eclipse the threshold of
marginal benefit and let me tell you why:

I am being taxed to death and the government thinks I don't pay enough.
I have state taxes. Federal taxes. Property taxes. Sales and use taxes.
Payroll taxes. Workers compensation taxes. Unemployment taxes. Taxes on
taxes. I have to hire a tax man to manage all these taxes and then guess
what?   I have to pay taxes for employing him. Government mandates and
regulations and all the accounting that goes with it, now occupy most of
my time. On Oct 15th, I wrote a check to the US Treasury for $288,000
for quarterly taxes.  You know what my "stimulus" check was? Zero. Nada.
Zilch.

The question I have is this: Who is stimulating the economy? Me, the guy
who has provided 14 people good paying jobs and serves over 2,200,000
people per year with a flourishing business? Or, the single mother
sitting at home pregnant with her fourth child waiting for her next
welfare check?

Obviously, government feels the latter is the economic stimulus of this
country. The fact is, if I deducted (Read: Stole) 50% of your paycheck
you'd quit and you wouldn't work here. I mean, why should you? That's
nuts. Who wants to get rewarded only 50% of their hard work? Well, I
agree which is why your job is in jeopardy. Here is what many of you
don't understand .. to stimulate the economy you need to stimulate what
runs the economy. Had suddenly government mandated to me that I didn't
need to pay taxes, guess what?   Instead of depositing that $288,000
into the Washington black-hole, I would have spent it, hired more
employees, and generated substantial economic growth. My employees would
have enjoyed the wealth of that tax cut in the form of promotions and
better salaries. But you can forget it now.

When you have a comatose man on the verge of death, you don't
defibrillate and shock his thumb thinking that will bring him back to
life, do you? Or, do you defibrillate his heart?   Business is at the
heart of America and always has been. To restart it, you must stimulate
it, not kill it. Suddenly, the power brokers in Washington believe the
mud of America are the essential drivers of the American economic
engine.

Nothing could be further from the truth and this is the type of change
you can keep. So where am I going with all this? It's quite simple. If
any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, my reaction will be swift
and simple. I fire you. I fire your co-workers.   You can then plead
with the government to pay for your mortgage, your SUV, and your child's
future. Frankly, it isn't my problem anymore. Then, I will close this
company down, move to another country, and retire.

You see, I'm done. I'm done with a country that penalizes the productive
and gives to the unproductive. My motivation to work and to provide jobs
will be destroyed, and with it, will be my citizenship.

While tax cuts to 95% of America sounds great on paper, don't forget the
back story: If there is no job, there is no income to tax. A tax cut on
zero dollars is zero. So, when you make decision to vote, ask yourself,
who understands the economics of business ownership and who doesn't?
Whose policies will endanger your job? Answer those questions and you
should know who might be the one capable of saving your job. While the
media wants to tell you "It's the economy Stupid" I'm telling you it
isn't.

If you lose your job, it won't be at the hands of the economy; it will
be at the hands of a political hurricane that swept through this
country, steamrolled the Constitution, and will have changed its
landscape forever. If that happens, you can find me in the South
Caribbean sitting on a beach, retired, and with no employees to worry
about.

Signed, Your boss,

The morons put weapons powerful enough to kill THEM on the street.

SWAT officers can be seen at a standoff in Sylmar last year. The LAPD is looking into whether SWAT officers bought large numbers of handguns and resold them for substantial profits. (Robert Gauthier / Los Angeles Times)

They need to have jail time with their buddies in prison because no one knows YET what crimes and deaths they assisted with their stupidity.

Worry and worry about the cops on the beat and their safety, then their own colleagues sell guns that will kill themselves and their peers. What a bunch of idiots.

By Joel Rubin, Los Angeles Times
August 24, 2012, 8:22 p.m.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating whether members of its elite SWAT unit took advantage of their assignments to purchase large numbers of specially-made handguns and resell the weapons for steep profits, according to a report released Friday by the independent watchdog overseeing the department.

The allegations, if true, could be a violation of federal firearm laws and city ethics regulations.
The ongoing inquiry is the LAPD's second attempt to understand what happened with the handguns. Police officials opened the investigation only after Inspector General Alex Bustamante raised concerns that a previous attempt to look into the gun dealings had been badly "deficient," according to Bustamante's report....
The FBI and/or ATF need to take over the investigation. The guns could be in the possession of collectors or private militias in the USA, like Eric Prince's band of brothers.

Purchasing stolen merchandise is a crime as well.

Isaac becomes dicey.

This is a current INFRARED satellite and not a water vapor satellite because it is easier to discern the multiple dynamics at work.

There is a line of clouds in the center of North America. It extends from where Isaac and into South America. Isaac has been fueling from that water vapor. BUT. That line of clouds is a front leading all the way into Canada where sits a large vortex. It is acting as a wall to the path of Isaac. That wall is moving east and north. Isaac is moving west and north.

The eye of the storm has become consolidated below Haiti. The people in Haiti are receiving about 55 knot winds over their tent cities. The storm is most probably a real soaker, no different than Irene last year.

But, there is an interesting development on the Atlantic side of Cuba. The water is hotter there than in the Caribbean and Isaac is moving north in strength while loosening bonds with South American water vapor. At least the tropical rainforests get a break for a while.

Thursday, 23 August 2012 22:38
...In conjunction with (click here) the Department of Civil Protection (DPC), the Head of Government promises regular dissemination of information relating to the movement of the storm. He stressed the importance of national solidarity and mobilized all the actors involved in the management of risks and disasters under the leadership of the Ministry of Interior through the Directorate of Civil Protection (DPC)....

Right now the consolidation of water vapor over southern Florida is simply an outer band, but, these storms have a characteristic that has been consistent for the last few years. The storms now the usual hurricanes as we witnessed in 2005, they morphed into diffuse and large circulation centers seeking water vapor and heat. If Issac proves to have a more diffuse path there is a chance with the oncoming front moving east, it could become an east coast storm 'near shore' storm. It depends on water temperatures. I haven't looked at the water temperature maps, but, if the temperatures are higher in the Atlantic there is a chance it would consolidate there.

15 17.20 -71.90 08/24/21Z 55 994 TROPICAL STORM

Isaac stabilized here and dropped two millibars of central pressure.

15A 17.30 -72.00 08/25/00Z 55 992 TROPICAL STORM

The longitude of the storm is also taking a more consistent movement with a full .5 (half a degree) change.

 16 17.70 -72.50 08/25/03Z 60 990 TROPICAL STORM

Currently, Isaac is oscillating between a central pressure of 990 and 992 millibars. That is because it is near land. Winds are stabilized followed by a drop in wind speed. Again, that is because it is near land.

16A 18.00 -72.80 08/25/06Z 60 990 TROPICAL STORM

Regardless of the drop in wind speed the direction is north with movement in that direction of a complete degree in latitude. That is a change in vector for the storm.

 17 19.00 -73.30 08/25/09Z 50 992 TROPICAL STORM

The change in it's vector is due to the hot waters of southern Florida. It is moving not so much on a self contained 'eye,' but, by the water vapor and heat dynamics the OSCILLATION brings to the storm. The 'eye' of these storms are a focus, but, not the driving force to it's dynamics any long as it used to be. These storms are still circulation centers, it is the physics of a rotating planet that brings that, but, they more 'heat seeking' storms than a directional vector storm as storms of 2005 and before have been.

Until later.

The water vapor bands are huge.

August 25, 2012
0030:00z
UNISYS Water Vapor GOES East Satellite (click title to entry for 12 hour loop)

The water vapor currently feeding Isaac extends from southern Florida, USA, NA to southern Columbia, SA.

It is that huge and actually increasing in velocity. Never thought it could reach that far in diameter and expect it to increase in velocity before it reorganized. It is reorganizing now. That is a gigantic water vapor field.

Earth never ceases to amaze me. When I think Earth's water vapor has reached it's limit it proves to be more amazing than before.

12A 16.90 -69.40 08/24/06Z 40 1001 TROPICAL STORM

Nearly an entire degree difference (.8) while dropping a millibar.

 13 16.10 -70.00 08/24/09Z 40 1000 TROPICAL STORM
13A 16.00 -70.30 08/24/12Z 45 1000 TROPICAL STORM
 14 16.30 -70.80 08/24/15Z 50 1000 TROPICAL STORM

The central pressure remained stable while the position of the storm moved in smaller increments.

A half degree oscillation while falling 3 millibars.

14A 16.80 -71.40 08/24/18Z 50 997 TROPICAL STORM

A near half degree oscillation (.4) while falling another 3 millibars.

 15 17.20 -71.90 08/24/21Z 55 994 TROPICAL STORM

Fairly stabilized in latitude, it spun its huge reach another 5 knots and dropped another 2 millibars.

15A 17.30 -72.00 08/25/00Z 55 992 TROPICAL STORM

Oscillation is the way these storms find their power. They need water vapor. I had no idea Earth's physics would allow this this size storm. Wow. It is a hot planet.

The oscillation is easily noted with its latitude. Issac's progression west is fairly consistent, but, the latitude continues to wobble from higher to lower to higher. It is the size of the water vapor field that causes that.

I left off at location 13, 40 mph with a central pressure of 1000 millibars. The storm is very quickly becoming a major storm. It dropped its central pressure 8 millibars in 9 hours. It has traveled west by 2 degrees and north by 1.3 degrees; now at 55 mph. Unbelievable considering the size of the water vapor field.

Cuba Weather (click here for loop)

I was looking for Air Pressure readings in some wide bands. I thought Cuba might reflect a fall in air pressure and if there was a sincere decrease to lend information toward the storms movement, but, there are no air pressure records noted on the net as of right now. I think if there air pressure under the bands are seeing significant falls and sustained falls it would be an indication of the direction Isaac is taking. If the air pressure is after falling briefly (approximately six to nine hours) it would indicate an oscillation rather than a movement of the low pressure. That is what I was looking for, but, it is not proven scientifically to be proven. But, it can be discerned. The storm is not completely loose of its physics.

There is also vortices in the northern reach of the troposphere in this hemisphere. They are starting to lie up like a vortex street. It is easier to see in a hemispheric view.
August 25, 2012
0130.00z
UNISYS Water Vapor Satellite of North and West Hemisphere. (click here for 12 hour loop)

The air mass at the border between Canada and North America has air piling up and forming vortices. It has the structure of a forming vortex street. It prove to form a stable air mass keeping Isaac at bay.

Issac's stability will probably be realized within the next six hours and its path determined.

Good night.

How is it that Whistleblower Bradley Manning is imprisoned while a book is released without review by the Pentagon?

This book is not about conscience as the author has no remorse in contributing to a get rich scheme. It is about money and power.

Our gracious first lady represented us all for a very tragic event.

MILWAUKEE (Reuters) - First lady Michelle Obama on Thursday offered condolences to family members of victims of the Wisconsin Sikh temple shooting during a private meeting near the scene where a white supremacist gunman opened fire earlier this month.
The meeting was held at the Oak Creek High School, down the street from the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin, where six worshippers were killed and four others, including a police officer, were wounded on August 5.

While it is never prudent to underestimate an opponent; Sharon Angle? Really?

I don't think so. The attack against Senate Majority Harry Reid began at the same time President Obama was elected to office. The Right Wing Media was attacking him before the Inauguration, no different than President Obama. It was when the Tea Party was born. The attacks against Senator Reid and Representative Pelosie were vicious, unjustified and sustained for nearly two years.

Sharon Angle was never taken to task by her party either. I realize the GOP is seeking the majority of the Senate and for some reason believes this seat is the turning point, but, I think the dynamics are different.

Senator McCaskill has been underseige for some time now, but, she is a woman and that has to be a viable alternative to the sexism of Akin. Unfortunately, Congressman Akin is not Senate material. He just isn't. He should stay in the House and serve a smaller district of the country than a State. The primary reason Akin is the candidate for the Senate is because of special interests. The special interests obviously believed if they could get him elected the law would be changed to victimize women.

It is conceivable a single congressional district would seek someone this extreme, no different than Allen West. But, to move such a person to the Senate isn't prudent.

I think Senator McCaskill needs to campaign and talk to her constituents to reassure them and seek to be their problem solver, but, in my opinion this isn't a challenge to the level it was with Reid or Pelosi.

...When Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin (click title to entry - thank you) went on television last weekend and uttered the words "legitimate rape," veterans of the Sharron Angle campaign had a collective flashback, PTSD-style.
Angle, the Republican Senate candidate who ran against Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in 2010, is best remembered for out-there statements like suggesting that "Second Amendment remedies" might be necessary to restore liberty. Her loss to Reid helped ensure that the GOP would fall short of the Senate majority in the midterm elections.
Angle's candidacy is a case study in the ability of a deeply flawed candidate to squander an otherwise winnable election. Republicans' current panic over Akin's candidacy reflects a fear that history will repeat itself in Missouri. But to veterans of the Reid-Angle race, Angle's candidacy also suggests that Akin could still win....

Liar and corrupt besides.

If Romney were to be elected he would do away with the "The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement. He would forgive BP their fines and tell it to leave the Gulf Coast. Count on it. Romney is a wealth whore. He certainly keeps company with them.

(CLR) Chairman Harold Hamm, Romney called for the aggressive development of fossil fuels to make the U.S. an “energy superpower” in a 21-page plan released yesterday....

I think this is outrageous. Lance Armstrong had cancer. A very deadly cancer.

No one will ever tell me his cycling and the drive to compete didn't play an important part in his recovery.

As a matter of fact, if memory serves me, physicians began to examine physical activity with cancer patients as an enhancement to treatment after his exceptional career.

Nike Inc (click title to entry - thank you) plans to continue to support Lance Armstrong even after the seven-time Tour de France cycling champion is stripped of his titles for deciding to no longer fight charges of doping, while bicycle maker Trek is analyzing the situation.
"Lance has stated his innocence and has been unwavering on this position. Nike plans to continue to support Lance and the Lance Armstrong Foundation, a foundation that Lance created to serve cancer survivors," Nike said in a prepared statement Friday.
Late on Thursday, Armstrong said he would no longer fight allegations from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency that he cheated throughout his career by using performance enhancing drugs....
The idea that Lance Armstrong had an advantage due to injections of erythropoietin as an adjunct therapy to maintain his blood levels while undergoing cancer therapy is simply outrageous. He was not 100% well. His physical condition was challenged standing still without a cycling. This is a hideous decision.

They are punishing a hero to many, many people inside and outside the cycling community. None of this makes sense. I think he should start his own cycling organization. Seriously. Set his own standards.

I want your money, not your jazz. Private Equity offers IPO. Really? They don't play by the rules, they don't want to pay by the rules.

The Carlyle Group Tries to Bar Investors From Court (click title to entry - thank you)

As private equity giant Carlyle Group LP prepared to join rivals Blackstone Group LP and KKR & Co. as a publicly traded company this year, it made headlines with a stunningly “shareholder-unfriendly” proposal to eliminate the litigation rights of its future public owners.
On January 10, Carlyle amended its registration statement in advance of its forthcoming initial public offering (“IPO”) to include a provision declaring that any and all investor disputes would be decided in private arbitration proceedings rather than in a court of law.
Although Carlyle ultimately removed the provision after widespread publicity and SEC objections, it is likely only a matter of time before more companies attempt to insert similar provisions in their registration statements and corporate charters. Because class action claims are usually unavailable in arbitrations — Carlyle’s clause explicitly prohibited them — and because arbitration proceedings generally disadvantage individual plaintiffs to the benefit of corporate defendants, if such clauses become widespread, it will take away an important check on corporate conduct and deal a tremendous blow to investor rights....

Below is a Leveraged Buy Out diagram. Gosh, it is so good to target companies for exploitation. Feels like greed and war all rolled into one.

The real hurricane is happening over the north pole. (click title to entry - thank you)

The troposphere is shallower over the poles. More condensed due to the frigid reality there. So, the altitude to water vapor is less there. I would not recommend traveling to the North Pole right now. It takes heat to create a storm like that.

Satellite photo acquired August 7, 2012
An unusually large, long-lasting, and powerful cyclone was churning over the Arctic in early August 2012. Two smaller systems merged on August 5 to form the storm, which at the time occupied much of the Beaufort-Chukchi Sea and Canadian Basin. On average, Arctic cyclones last about 40 hours; as of August 9, 2012, this storm had lasted more than five days....

Isaac is still pulling water vapor from any place it can find it.

Adding water vapor to the physics of Isaac will drive the velocity of the storm. Right now the oscillation is driven between sucking up water vapor and using calories to increase velocity.

The latest turbulence in the Gulf I mentioned yesterday was drawn into Isaac's physics. It can be noted in the 12 hour loop. That storm is hungry for water vapor because it is not finding it where Earth currently has it, which in the upper troposphere. This is a water vapor satellite and according to what is visibly in the troposphere Isaac should not be this challenged to build velocity, but, it is. The water vapor at the altitude where Isaac lives is sparse.

There is a third potential for a storm in the Pacific that has existed for about 2130 on August 23rd. It may have sustaining effect on the trajectory of Isaac as Joyce in the Atlantic still does.

Isaac likes it's water vapor. It moved back to the south. The reporting in bold is where I last noted it's activity. It is oscillating and building strength with every spin of the clouds. The central pressure in italics is still dropping. Isaac isn't finished building strength yet.

It is dropping central pressure, but, not speed. It is reorganizing where it finds water vapor.

In the image to the left it would appear Joyce has mostly dissipated while another turbulence in the Gulf near northern Mexico has developed.

Isaac wobbles quite a bit. Joyce was progressing north without any retreat to a lower latitude.

Isaac, however, has considerable travel in latitude. At one point, 2130z, Isaac appeared to be moving north over the Dominican Republic. But, that was a major oscillation before Joyce weakened with a higher central pressure. Isaac's central pressure continued to drop without rising again. The eye of Isaac is still very much in the Caribbean.

Joyce may organize a bit more yet, but, won't make landfall.

The turbulence in the Gulf near Mexico occurred at the same time Joyce diminished.

This is where Isaac started:

1 15.20 -51.20 08/21/09Z 30 1007 TROPICAL DEPRESSION

And this is where Isaac is now:

12 16.70 -68.70 08/24/03Z 40 1001 TROPICAL STORM

So, in 66 hours Isaac has moved 1.2 degrees north and 17.5 degrees west. The central pressure has fallen 6 millibars in that time and the speed has increased by 10 knots per hour.

In all honesty, Isaac is receiving a lot of water vapor from the lower latitudes. That storm isn't necessarily going to move away from its water vapor source that quickly. As its central pressure drops, it will sustain its own velocity. The size of the storm will sustain it as well. But, it has more westerly travel than north. Depends on its sustainability at a lower central pressure than one would expect. That might happen. The waters are certainly hot enough. We'll see.

The way we were. Twenty years ago today Hurricane Andrew hit Florida. (click here)

What is Romney embarrassed about in relation to his church tithing?

Republican presidential candidate, former Massachusetts Governor Willard Mitt Romney walks into a fundraising event on Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012 in Minnetonka Beach, Min.

Romney states his tithing should not be public. (click title to entry - thank you)

Huh?

...Members of The Church of Jesus Christ (click title to entry - thank you) of Latter-day Saints are encouraged to donate 10 percent of their gross income to the faith, and Romney’s disclosure early this year shows he did just that and also forked over more through his family charity.
Romney pulled in more than $40 million in 2010 and 2011, his campaign reported, and paid about $4.1 million to the LDS Church. That’s in addition to about $4.8 million his Tyler Charitable Foundation donated to the faith.
Over time, the Romneys, among the wealthiest Mormons, with a net worth of around $250 million, have likely doled out millions to their Salt Lake City-based faith. The LDS Church has been referred to as one of the wealthiest in the world....

Besides the fact of the matter most church members of any faith seek to tithe ten percent to their church, perhaps Mitt is ashamed and guilty about the fact his tax rate is nearly the same and perhaps less than his tithing. That is not necessarily a reality most Americans share with him.

Guilt is a terrible thing.

I don't understand that illogic as a reason to withhold the tax forms to the citizens seeking to understand the guy. If he is so worried about the amount of taxes he paid being compared to the tithing of his church, then redact it. If he is unsure how to redact the information he can get expert advise from Condi Rice when she redacted stuff submitted to the 911 Commission. Cheney may not be up to it.

The amount of tithing is most likely deductible and he most assuredly doesn't take the standard deduction as most Americans do. So, when he was particularly bitter about paying taxes to the government he probably cranked up the amount to the church rather than pay more taxes to the USA. You know the country he claims he loves and desires to be President.

I know a few millionaires. I am not one. Surprise, but, it always surprises me the bitterness they hold to paying taxes. It is amazing. One of my family like race horses. Not dressage, but, race horses. He rather pay more expenses for his race horses than pay the government. It is amazing. He is retired and claims his race horse expenses as his new investment venture.

Right.

But, the fact of the matter is the Nouveau riche always believe they are entitled to keep every dime they earn. They hold no belief in obligation to the government where domestic tranquility is earned by the blood of men far less wealthy than they.

There is a lot of peril for Mr. and Mrs. Romney. They enjoy their money lavishly and they are allowed to do so, but, to most Americans lavish spending is sinful or at least irreverent while they see their city services diminishing, including their children's education. Or worse yet are losing their homes.

There are a lot of reasons for Romney to protect himself from the truth. Many reasons and they are all alienated voters. I find his pandering to the privacy of church donations a bogus excuse. Just another lie.

"Clear Choice" is a wonderful legacy to Former President Clinton's leadership that shines through today. We have it right with President Obama. Thank you.
