I have been to Arctic countries on simply a passport. Many are very generous to Americans and allowing three months or longer before having to depart.
These people are our friends in every way possible. They love the cultural differences. They love to talk about world events. And one man has now caused them the need to rethink their sovereign defense.
This is painful. At least for me. They are magnificent people that embrace freedom and democracy as much, if not more than Americans do. There is absolutely no reason for one man to change the USA’s national security treaties.
Trump isn’t legally allowed to conduct himself this way, but, his minions can’t or won’t discern legal orders as governed by the USA Constitution and the Rule of Law. They simply cower to Trump’s whims and this is the result. Our allies don’t recognize the USA anymore. I don’t either.
