The Hague needs to file human rights violations.

The Hague should seek extradition.

While this may be Trump’s politics there are not valid charges for Maduro. He was president of Venezuela, even illegitimate, but, he personally cannot be charged for anything except crimes committed as the president. Human rights violations are the charges he should face.

Drug trafficking is drug trafficking and while Maduro may have given cartels a nod, he personally did not traffick drugs.

Maduro did not kill Americans, the drugs may or may not have killed Americans. Addicts arguably have no free will, but, their deaths are not murder unless there is poison as the cause of death.

If Trump’s politics are the only charges, it may not hold up. Maduro’s removal will allow the rightful president to take leadership without interruption, however, her safety is in question as long as their is an insurgency out if control.

Why New York? Correct Jurisdiction? Just a security issue until correct charges are heard by a judge.

The International Criminal Court has a liaison office in New York affiliated with the UN.
