Ukraine

It is tempting to call the war between Ukraine and Russia a stalemate, but, in all honesty, the disadvantaged Ukraine has done rather well. The map below is from two years ago. Russia has accomplished anything. Additionally, Russia has been accused of human rights abuses in Crimea and elections that were far from what is expected by international monitors.

While Russia states Crimea is part of Russia, the Crimean state they are an autonomous government.

What is troubling about this war is the fact Ukraine has to fight without allied assistance. Russia is pulling in foot soldiers from many countries. Russia can’t hold its ground without sucking in more and more foreign casualties. If one calls this a stalemate, it is not accurate when considering Russia lost this war at least a year ago. The only reason Russia is still drawing breath is because of foreign mercenaries.

If Ukraine continues to hold its own it will wipe out entire foreign units of drones and foot soldiers, if it hasn’t already. Ukraine may end up taking down the Asian communists because Putin won’t admit he lost.

There is a good chance Syria fell because Russia has slowly imploded because of Putin’s ideology. Iran has had to devote units of drones to Putin. Seriously, the communists are affected by Ukraine’s damnable ability to fight. Think about it. The Ukraine military are heroes for far more than Ukrainians and their land. Every Free World country should be assessing a decline in a communist threat.

Assad isn’t sitting in a palace in Damascus. He is an exile in Russia.

That Ukraine front represents more than a stalemate with Russia. That front is a victory to a much larger battlefield. The Free World never asked for this war. Quite the contrary. This war is about the continued fall of the Soviet Union.
