I’ll go you one better.

This is more than socialism, it is nationalizing private industry. It is also corruption.

Who has their thumb on the scale for Intel?

Will the stock prices ever fall?

Will other companies be able to compete?

Will Intel always get a bailout while other companies don’t?

And what about the supply chain? Will Intel get cut rates for their manufacturing stockpile? Will the USA government have to provide security officers at Intel? What about the security of the CEO? What planes does he fly? Commercial? Military? And who pays for all this ?

The Great Recession saw nationalization of the banking system.

What next?

That bailout in 2008-9 venture cost the people of this democracy trillions of dollars. Trump’s gigantic, ugly bill has cut taxes everywhere except the Middle Class and now the Middle Class has to budget for stock margins if Intel loses money. Who manages that? USA Secretary of the Treasury? Really? The Treasury Secretary now has to be a stockbroker?

What happened to that huge project with the Tech Industry that has it’s own slush fund, Trump announced a day or two after inauguration?

They were suppose to create an superfund out of their own earnings. Where is all that? Besides, good ole’ Sam is screaming about the dangers of AI.

No. No percentage interest in private companies. It is corruption of the governance of this country. Ten percent is a lot. What is the next largest shareholder at Intel? Or, is the USA to be the largest controlling interest at Intel? Nope. No deal.
