The Republicans ugly bill signed into law debilitates this country. It also institutes price gouging on Visas at a sensitive time when the USA is sponsoring a global sports event. The Visa issue should be able to be defeated at the World Trade Organization.
When it was decided The World Cup would be sponsored in 2026 by the USA these excess costs did not present as a problem in that decision. Basically, the Republican tax and spend bill is taking unfair advantage of an international community that thrives on soccer. It is an oppressive directive and a deterrent to a fair sporting venue.
