How important is an intact natural family in the USA?

This is an absolutely incredible story. It shows the dogged belief the people of the USA has in valuing the family. I congratulate everyone involved in finding the missing child as an adult. Everyone who added to the path to the truth has done remarkable work.

I just find this story magnificent in the depth of the belief in family.

On Wednesday, the Texas Attorney General's Office announced that Holly had been found alive and well, now 42 years old.

Investigators apparently walked into Holly's workplace this week, in Oklahoma, and told her who she was, leading to her being reunited virtually with her biological family members.

On Thursday afternoon, the Texas Attorney General's Office held a news conference that answered questions about who raised Holly.

The news conference began with a plea to the public asking anyone with information on the case to come forward.

First Assistant Attorney General Brent Webster described the case as "an ongoing criminal investigation," and stressed that there were details he wouldn't be able to discuss....
