Does Ted Cruz want gun violence and insubordination?

(POLITICO) LITCHFIELD, N.H.—Appealing (click here) to New Hampshire’s powerful gun culture, Sen. Ted Cruz said Sunday that he’s “pressing” Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman John McCain to hold hearings on whether soldiers should be allowed to carry their own concealed firearms onto military bases.

“I am very concerned about that policy,” the Texas senator told 120 gun owners at a hunting club here, before taking a trip to a firing range for some target practice. “I think it’s very important to have a public discussion about why we’re denying our soldiers the ability to exercise their Second Amendment rights.”

Defense Department leaders oppose relaxing the ban, which was enacted under George H.W. Bush.

It's "Fox and Friends" again. The propaganda was given birth a year ago and now it is an agenda item in the Republican rhetoric.

I hear the Tea Party has a new trademark in reverence to Fox News.

Jim Hoft: "Thanks To Liberals (click here) And Bill Clinton And Democrats Our Military Bases Are Gun-Free Zones." In an April 3 post for his conservative blog The Gateway Pundit, Jim Hoft claimed:

More proof Republicans running for President have not sound baseline policies for the country. Ted Cruz never bothered to look into the propaganda or talked to military base leaders. He simply was lead by the nose by a populous political movement that follows Fox News as if they are the Supreme Leader of the airwaves.
