I hope everyone had an enjoyable Halloween.

...Activist groups (click here) have made the argument for decades that constant and consistent negative stereotypes of certain groups deeply affect those who are part of that culture, as well the society they live in. This hypothesis have been backed up by thousands of studies, and with persistence, social justice actions have largely made such depictions distasteful at the very least, and illegal where possible. It has been a great boon to progressive thinking to have serious consequences to those who insist on reducing others to stereotype images and demeaning their lifestyles, cultures, or persons, thus trampling on their human rights....

I found this article by a women that grew up Wiccan more than interesting. She identifies with minorities. Citizens that celebrate neo-pagen religions have fought and died for the USA. They are buried in Arlington along with and along side of American Christians and Jews. Perhaps we can have a more kinder and gentler Halloween in the future.

Wiccans have children, too. It is an image of their parents they don't need. I think the USA can do better. Thank you.
