The Senators' website managers need to do better.

I didn't find the bill at either Senator Toomey or Senator Manchin's website. There are summary pages, but, I didn't find the bill.

There are all kinds of Second Amendment protection bills and amendments in regard to the UN measures at Senator Manchin's page, but, there is no  entirety of the bill posted.

Sens. Joe Manchin and Pat Toomey

Wednesday, Apr 10

Bottom Line: The Public Safety and Second Amendment Rights Protection Act would require states and the federal government to send all necessary records on criminals and the violently mentally ill to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). The bill extends the existing background check system to gun shows and online sales.

The bill explicitly bans the federal government from creating a national firearms registry, and imposes serious criminal penalties (a felony with up to 15 years in prison) on any person who misuses or illegally retains firearms

records....

That is from Senator Toomey and below is a fact sheet from Senator Manchin's site.

Legislation protects American's Second Amendment rights

...The bill explicitly bans the federal government from creating a registry and creates a new penalty for misusing records to create a registry – a felony punishable by 15 years in prison. The bill also protects veterans’ rights by offering an appeals process before veterans lose their rights to bear arms. Finally, the bill creates a commission of non-elected experts in their fields who will study the causes of mass violence in the United States, looking at all aspects of the problem, including mental health, guns, school safety and portrayals of violence in the media. This broad approach is absolutely necessary to truly address our culture of mass violence. ...

I need a bill number.
