Not even a concubine.

The GOP is giving the cold shoulder to Senator Mark Kirk for coming out in favor of gay marriage. Meanwhile, Republicans embrace Mark Sanford, left, who cheated on his wife. Sanford is shown here with his fiancee Maria Belen Chapur. Photograph: Bruce Smith/AP

Wait a minute. Chapur is not a mistress. She is not a kept woman. Not to my knowledge was she ever supported by Sanford. He spent money, of course, but it was in pursuit of sex, not lifestyle.

See, the word mistress actually has higher esteem than does any other word, such as slut or home wrecker or paramour. To be nice, Chapur is a paramour.

So, I don't believe anyone has the right to confuse the issue. Chapur is on her way to bring Argentina to the floor of the US House of Representatives as the former PARAMOUR of a married man.

Okay?

There is a correct context to establish this relationship and I don't feel comfortable with the status of Mistress now Fiance. She was never a mistress, she was a paramour. Simple.

I entertained the idea of concubine, but, she wasn't. She was never a social face with Sanford until he slipped up on his excuse for seeking sex outside of marriage. Nope, not even a concubine.
