All evidence should be presented to the Aurora police and FBI, not the Associated Press. I think this is an NRA stunt.


Running to the press to try to character assassinate the gunman is SOP for the NRA. The investigation and prosecution should not be tainted by people that don't recognize the importance of the authorities over the press. The gun range owner didn't care about approaching the police and FBI first. It tells me all I need to know.


...The owner of a gun range (click title to entry - thank you) told the AP that Holmes applied to join the club last month but never became a member because of his behavior and a "bizarre" message on his voice mail.

He emailed an application to join the Lead Valley Range in Byers on June 25 in which he said he was not a user of illegal drugs or a convicted felon, said owner Glenn Rotkovich. When Rotkovich called to invite him to a mandatory orientation the following week, he said he heard a message on Holmes' voice mail that was "bizarre -- guttural, freakish at best."...
