Photographer states :: Snow fell for the first time in a long time here in Flagstaff, Dogs were having a blast in the snow.
...Winter storm warnings were in place for the Flagstaff area, the Mogollon Rim and White Mountains until 6 p.m. Tuesday. A heavy snow warning was issued for southeastern Arizona and snow advisories for northern Gila County and the Window Rock area. Snow levels were to remain around 4,500 feet through the day.
More than 3 inches of snow fell overnight at Flagstaff and the city was blanketed with 6 inches of snow at dawn. Schools were closed for a second day Tuesday....
