The Iranian Reactor.

The 'deal' Iran and Russia are now engaging in is NOT the deal that was originally planned. In the original agreement Russia was to take control of the delivery of fuel rods and the storage of the used fuel rods. Since this is no longer the safeguard demanded by the Russians, realizing the USA is paying Russia to convert nuclear warheads to fuel and then shipping them in cargo containers to the USA for use in nuclear reactors, this provides at the very least an imputus of concern. That imputus can lead to sanctions against the poor judgement of Russia especially with the UN Security Council involved.

Another thing.

If the poor judgement by Bush is backed by the US Legislature there can be a UN Security Council review of the Indian program of proliferation as well. The UN Charter clearly states; there are only to be five nuclear nations, with any other nation using nuclear power for energy purposes only. As of today, the USA with Bush's agreement, if not modified by the USA Legislature has clearly violated that treaty and has jeopardized the security of the USA and it's trustworthiness to be a part of any Non-Proliferation again.

With each major power on the UN Security Council with a veto vote now violating Non-proliferation provisions, we are entering again an escalation of nuclear weapon proliferation, research and "The Doomsday Clock" is ticking again.
